And what way is that? Just follow and obey? Fear does not stop death, it stops life.
Blacklabel
calling everything a conspiracy doesnt make it go away or make the point made invalid.
Whats the difference between a conspiracy and the truth? these days about 6 months.
There has never been a time in our history where more "conspiracy theories" came true weeks or months later.
You dont agree its so convenient how the data is categorized? there is basically no way a "vaccinated" person can die from COVID or the vaccine simply by how they restrict it.
Strangerland
Oh, I think you may have found ANOTHER conspiracy!
You must be in the thousands by now.
Blacklabel
yes which a quite convenient way to measure things to avoid any of those messy "died from vaccine" or "vaccinated person died from COVID anyway" stories.
thats all Im saying as a simplistic observation.

And logically so. You don't get the health benefits of vaccination until 2 weeks after the vaccination.
Strangerland
"It's quite clear" he claims, while providing nothing to support his assertion has any basis in reality as to how these things are actually counted.
Blacklabel
No it refers to the case table.
less than 14 days after vaccination people are considered and categorized as unvaccinated.
It’s quite clear. I get vaccinated today and catch the rona next week, I’m an unvaccinated case.
virusrex
Nowhere in your source it is said it is listed as an unvaccinated death, it would be only if the cause of the death was related to the COVID infection, but since the relationship of the death with the vaccine is being investigated obviously he is considered as vaccinated for this purpose.
Your source only proves you could not understand that 2 weeks after vaccination is a requirement to be considered "vaccinated" only in relationship with death caused by COVID, but not for considering anything else happening "after vaccination". An allergic reaction produced seconds after the first dose of the vaccine would be included in the reports of adverse effects after vaccination.
The part where the description explicitly says "fully vaccinated" should have been a big hint about the difference.
Blacklabel
kid died 2 months ago right after getting vaccine with no underlying medical conditions.
CDC still "investigating" and likely will never release the results. but he is listed as unvaccinated death, because it was 3 days later.

oh ok, this site is blocking quotations now. Its in on page 1 of 7 right hand column in the middle.
Less than 14 days is counted in the table of cases as an unvaccinated person.

It is well known that vaccinated people require time to become immune (in the medical sense) to the infection, and that people do not die instantly after being exposed to the virus, so it is completely logical to consider people that were infected, complicated and died before developing immunity to be excluded from the deaths happening after full vaccination.
Time is not a factor to say vaccines are not related, differences with the unvaccinated population are, if the rates of something are equivalent between both groups (it doesn't matter how long after vaccination) that means the vaccines are not increasing that risk.
Blacklabel
except that its right here and that you simply dont care/cant be bothered to look.

It's too late to prevent the extra deaths. That's already baked in. To many politicians and GOP leaders willfully sent people to their deaths. Even though many of those same outspoken and high profile leaders also killed themselves from the virus.
All that can be done, again, is to try and minimize the numbers. But 100,000 more is a done deal.
The entire GOP need to be tried for crimes against humanity. In any civilized country they would already be arrested.
Strangerland
"No, but this conspiracy is true, I swear!"
Blacklabel
Nope, I am saying the data is manipulated where people who die within 14 days of being vaccinated are counted as dying "unvaccinated". so no wonder you can claim 99% who die are unvaccinated when you count like that.
Then if people die months after, you claim the vaccine had nothing to do with it, or its "not clear" if the vaccine caused their death.
Blacklabel
the vaccine IN JAPAN.
Latest UK Delta covid data is ugly.
67% of deaths are vaccinated
48% of cases are vaccinated
So its all really not as simple as people claim.

Getting COVID and dying from it are now is a voluntary decision.
This just shows that the politicalizing of the pandemic by Trump from day one resulted in the needless deaths of many, many Americans and that continues on to the present. People are dying from Covid now because they chose to get sick and die, because they believe that orange fraud who mislead them over the facts of the pandemic and what science has proven over and over again.

@Blacklabel
Are you saying that over 99% of the unvaccinated all just happened to be vaccinated within the last 2 weeks of their life? That's remarkable. Where did find this information? As long as it's not something Faux News said, I'd like to read it.
I just received my second shot, but I won't be fully vaccinated for another 2 weeks. I just have to be really careful for the next 2 weeks and wear my mask and keep my hands clean.
Have you been vaccinated, Blacklabel? My arm's a little sore but I still slept like a baby that night. Also, both of the shots I received were quite painless. I still might catch Covid, but, as my doctor explained, I probably won't have to go to the hospital. I don't want to gloat, but I feel more relaxed knowing I did my civic duty. Not only am I in less danger but I'm less of a danger to anybody I'm in contact with. If you haven't been vaccinated yet and have doubts about it, talk to your doctor and listen to what they have to say. Maybe that'll change your mind.
virusrex
Who knows? not being able to correctly judge the scientific information that clearly shows being vaccinated is the less risky option speak volumes about their capacity (or genuine desire to help others), It would may even be counterproductive to have people that more easily spread the infection exposing vulnerable patients or their family members.
There is quite a lot of evidence of many types that shows masks help quite a lot to reduce the risk of infection and complications if everybody wears them, viral load reduction means people that wear them are less likely to get infected, and less likely to get complications or die even if they do get infected.

Poll numbers say a different thing

Not anymore, looking ahead….

So there is good evidence that masks are super effective? I get that vaccines reduce spread and mortality. But less certain that we have good evidence on masks. I wear one whenever required, but do not really think it is "keeping me safe" or reducing my chance of spreading to others. Although i am vaxxed and so supposedly less likely to spread
Blacklabel
hundreds of nurses have been fired for refusing vaccination.
Wouldnt it be useful to have them right now?
Yes curiously, the reports now show that people are still considered as "unvaccinated" until 14 days after they get the vaccine. So if you die within 2 weeks of the shot, you arent considered as a vaccinated death.
Interesting.

Trump voters made up less than half of those voting. Their QGOP candidate LOST the election, Trump remains a LOSER!
Biden won 81,283,098 votes, or 51.3 percent of the votes cast. He is the first U.S. presidential candidate to have won more than 80 million votes. Trump won 74,222,958 votes, or 46.8 percent of the votes cast.
Only members of Trump's QGOP question the results.

Over 99% of those dying in America are the unvaccinated, yet these are the same people you see on TV (usually without a mask on) screaming like they're at some kind of religious tent revival. "Show me the science!" they scream. They don't even know what the word means. If they did, they'd at least wear a mask.
Over 99% their fellow believers are dying of Covid every day now, and they still can't see it or get it. Unbelievable. The evidence is looking at them literally dead in the face.
It doesn't make any sense at all, does it?
Garthgoyle
On the one extreme side you have China, with forced vaccinations and the mandatory carrying your smartphone with your vaccine app and location tracking.
And on the other extreme side you have Americans. Who you can't tell nor ask anything coz "but mah freedom, can't tell me what to do." To the point that like the guy in the article mentioned, there's a big fire but no one wants to bring out a single fire engine.
We're in for much longer time of this virus.
PTownsend
That's good news. Perhaps Trump's 'it's unAmerican to wear a mask' is no longer being believed by some of his flock.
Or maybe, some Americans have stopped listening to their Evangelical pastor, or other QAnon sorts parroting something that originally came from an authoritarian nation's mis/disinformation social media warriors, which was later posted on 8Chan and Facebook, plus stopped believing entertainers paid by Rupert Murdoch, and instead are now listening to credible doctors and medical scientists.
or maybe the death of someone they knew helped bring about a change of mind.
GdTokyo
Shame and shun the willingly unvaccinated.
Haaa Nemui
Some of them will be part of the 100,000 statistic mentioned in the headline.
plasticmonkey
Come on, people. Do your part. Wear a mask and get vaccinated. It’s not that hard.
