I'd say, overly easy access to guns, in a nation that has been violent since its founding, a nation that has seen ethnic groups pitted against each other since then, one that currently has a mass movement of people within the majority culture trying to convince themselves it's 'others' that are at the root of the problem, and have demonized those 'others', some even using the term 'Satanic' to describe them. Doesn’t help the narrative= Liberals wont comment on it and that makes it just like it never happened for them.

Sad but predictable, at this point it is simply much more likely that in any important date somewhere in the US there will be a shooting, after all it is the country where every week there is at least one mass shooting.
