Thank you Sharpton, Farrakhan, Holder, some professional athletes, some in Hollywood, and Obama. BUT most of all, thank you irresponsible media for promoting lies and false information!

Ignoring the fact that they have no information on what prompted this incident whatsoever, let's address your actual comment. Now it seems Republicans are switching from blaming the media for doing its job (reporting), now it appears they are shifting tack to saying that the media is just lying. Good news everybody, there is no racism in the United States! Just ask the Republicans!

MarkG@The people you mentioned might indeed be guilty of stoking racial tensions but nothing will change the fact that the US is saddled with a permanent underclass made up of racial minorities whose lot, since passing of the civil rights legislation in the 1960s, has only improved marginally. It's an unenviable situation and the sad fact is there are no workable solutions in sight. Pointing the finger of blame might be a great catharsis but none of those people can be blamed for having created the underlying problems.

No, the underlying problems were not created by Sharpton, Holder, de Blasio or even Obama. But their party had a lot to do with them and these people continue to use polarizing rhetoric and promote harmful government policies that since the 1960's has exacerbated the underlying problems of increased unemployment, poverty, racial polarization, fatherless families, high rates of crime and incarceration. You cannot solve a problem when you cannot recognize it's cause. The race hustlers in the White House and their associates in the professional 'civil rights' community are not the solution - have taken ownership and have become the problem now.
There have been several more random attacks on police in North Carolina and Florida and elsewhere all in the last week alone. Just like the trumped up and divisive "war on women" that the Democrats have ginned up they have now stirred up a real war on the police (of all races).
Spreading unfounded myths about rampant police racism continues to do great harm to America - especially to the poor and minorities that need their protection. The Left needs to dial back the hateful anti-police rhetoric before they lose control of public safety to ever more Left wing cuckoo birds like the one who assassinated the cops in New York. It's long past time that Sharpton, Farrakhan, Holder, and Obama call off the stereotyping of all police as racists. All lives matter.

Tough times in USA for minority youth and police relations.Of course if you didn't have so many guns -you wouldn't have so much gun related problems. Those outside the USA u dee stand this-Amerocans in general embellish the fact with complex theories nobody can agree on

Since when is irresponsible reporting the media's job? The mainstream media reported rumors and lies with not even verifying the accuracy. I'd saw that's quite a blow to their credibility. Recognize it or not, no news is more accurate that misinformation.
BTW- Foxnews did not! And BTW Strangerland.....wrong again! I mentioned prior I'm no Republican.
Also never claimed racism does not exist, it does. From both sides. I will say Blacks have every opportunity I have had and even more yet all to many perpetuate the inner city low income lifestyle. Many uand abuse the entitlement systems in place, many father children and are not dads, many do not have respect for authority which starts at home. Schools have big problems with uncooperative and violent students. What future does that child have for themself? Can he read? Do math? Problem solve? Mingle with those who can? Look into it before you comment please. Inner city black youths have hurdles in life. Many do succeed and rise and rise to the top. They believe in education and respect. Two key attributes successful people have.

According to you, it's: 1) Never a the Democrats or Liberals fault.
2) It's Never Obama's Holder's or Sharpton's fault
3) It's Never China's North Korea or Russia's fault
4) It's Always Republicans or Conservatives fault.
I am so happy you do not look at politics through a partisan view.
No one said, racism doesn't exist in America, it's just not as prevalent of a problem as the race agitators want you to think or believe. And I will add the same to what Mark said, I am from Los Angeles and I know the politics, I too am NOT a Republican, but conservative in a State that is DEEP BLUE and I know for a fact, if many Blacks stayed in school, followed the law, stop assaulting the police or giving the police a reason to search them, arrest them or even talking to them with disrespect then we would have less problems in our society, but knowing you, pointing that out is just so overtly racist. I just get sick and tired that liberals always point the finger EVERYWHERE else except for where the problem actually comes from and the vast majority of problems in the Black community are created by Blacks themselves, not Whites.
By the way, where is Sharpton and Jackson, Holder and the president on this issue??? I'm hearing crickets again....

You seem to be confusing me with someone else, as I have never claimed any of those things.
On the contrary, it's a prevalent problem the racism deniers (see, I can attach labels too) would prefer not to acknowledge.
That's like me claiming I'm not a Democrat. While it's true, it doesn't change the fact that my beliefs are very strongly in line with the party, same as yours are in line with the Republicans.
That's half of it. The other half is that the environment in the states is that society thinks black people are criminals, and for lack of a better term, 'the man is holding them down'. It's a mistake to think it's only one or the other, and it's irresponsible to claim it's only one or the other.
bass4funk
Unless there is another Strangerland? Sorry, No. Judging by your past comments and compiling them 1 through 4 are pretty accurate accounts of how you view politics and social issues.
Because many Blacks and Black agitators WANT it to be.
My beliefs are NOT with JUST Republicans, but right and wrong and knowing America the way I do, it's apparent that progressive liberal politics are completely destroying America, that doesn't mean I reject everything that is liberal, but the way Obama has been trying to pull the nation to the Left when we are NOT a LEFT nation by any stretch of the meaning, he and the Democratic party has thrown the country into complete chaos and doing it without the approval of the majority of Americans. Obamacare, immigration, focusing on policies he thinks to see fit instead of the economy and NOT only low paying paper hat jobs either.
So then why are so many Blacks in jail, out of school, on Death row, unemployed, is it the man that is constantly perpetuating this vicious cycle? Again, you are making excuses for the rampant behavior as if everything that is affecting the Black community is primarily the responsibility of Whites. I never heard you suggesting that Blacks should stay in school, stop fathering children if they can't afford it. Take ANY job, it's better than NOT having a job, listen to the police don't argue or fight with them. Everyone has a choice, EVERYONE and sadly, many Blacks make the wrong choice and that's on them.
True, but Blacks are 95% responsible for making their own problems.
bass4funk
Let's try this again, most of the problems that are plaguing the Black community are the problems that many Blacks create and constantly blaming Whites for the problems and NOT taking personal responsibility won't change anything and if you lived in L.A. you would know exactly what I am talking about. I really feel for the police that have to go to cities like Compton, Santa Ana, Oakland, Richmond, Watts, Lynwood, Inglewood these are very dangerous areas, very high crime, very high unemployment has been since the mid 1970's and has gotten worse. When I lived in Lynwood back in the day there were still White people, but not now and you would have to be suicidal to even contemplate to drive in those cities, especially if you are White and yet, these people keep voting for the same politicians that never, ever change anything and so the perpetuation of poverty will always be there in these cities until these people implement change and take their social issues seriously.

Wow, a time warp. Blame the Romanians! "Bucharest to Hanoi Hannah, do you read me?"
What you say, Willis?

There are underlying problems that were created by both Jim Crow, drug abuse and crack babies, lead in gasoline (seriously), and LBJ's "great society," the effects of which were predicted by Daniel Patrick Moynihan back in the 1960's. But, underlying problems aside, that does not justify resorting to violence; especially random, pointless violence. Doesn't anybody remember MLK?
