Thank goodness no one was seriously hurt, not that they could have been by the sound of it.
I am sure this will keep the terror train chugging along anyway. A couple more of these and TSA will be everybody's best friend again, taking your water, your nail clippers and your breast milk lest they burn your fingers.

Why is America become more and more like Europe!!??
SezWho2
If only it were.
It is premature to assign any meaning to this event. It could have been anything from a youthful prank to a fulmination from a Mad Tea Partier to a terrorist test.
By the blessings of geography, America has been fundamentally isolated from the rest of the civilized world. However, it cannot expect to remain so while it stations it military around the globe. The American dream is fundamentally that--an American dream.
mikehuntez
Yeah but maybe you could explain how this is relevant to this article?

Gee., now let's see. Who has a long history of sending letter bombs?
SolidariTea
2 little bombs explode in Maryland.
I read that
and then they guy who wrote this goes on to link the bombs to US military presence overseas and even uses the event to impugn the so called American Dream. That was pretty funny.

I think my comment is relevant to your comment. Perhaps you could explain how your comparison of the US to Europe is relevant.
Americans expect to live in a land free of terror. That's the dream. But it is only that--a dream.
mikehuntez
Is that the dream they have in the USA? I always thought it was something different like successful life, house, car, couple kids. You know boring stuff like that.
My comment was relative because Europe had many of these "anachist" attacks previously by things showing up in package bombs. Like SolidariTea said, I can't understand "meaning", "American dream" and "military around the globe" especially when this happened to a state gov't building. Seems more of a domestic problem than "military around the globe". Do you watch Jesse Ventura too much by any chance?
SuperLib
With Sez, all arguments begin and end with the US military around the globe no matter what the specific situation is. You'll learn that soon enough.
