@Tangerine2000
Are you saying these people were attacked because they were white? I’m still trying to work it out.
Tangerine2000
Motive? What has that got to do with the headline?
I think you should stop being silly and looking for ways to discount and disprove things that you don't agree with personally.
Tangerine2000
As kurisupisu said, the video shows the victims.
ohara
This will be swept under the rug at the earliest opportunity.
Jimizo
Yes, we don’t know the facts yet. Some people think it’s okay to just run along without them.
Jimizo
The motive hasn’t been established yet. It would be very poor reporting to lead on a headline like that before the facts are in.
Also, your headline may give the impression that the attacker specifically targeted white people. Was that your intention?
kurisupisu
The victims (according to the video evidence I have seen) bleeding out on the ground, being given CPR were white.
Is it coincidental, that on that very day, and in that very place, a BLM protest had been held?
If the attacker is being reported as a Libyan then what is the motive for such an attack?
Terror or Racist?
Both?
More facts to come, no doubt...
Tangerine2000
Three white Britons killed by Libyan Terrorist
Jimizo
Ok, you think it’s all of them.
What exactly would you like them to report? Give us an idea for a headline or opening paragraph you’d like to see which hammers home the racial component here.
Tangerine2000
Politicians and the media will do their best to ignore the racial component to this attack.

You wrote:
You said ‘politicians and the media’. You didn’t say ‘some politicians’ or ‘parts of the media’. Did you mean some politicians and parts of the media? If so, it’s best to say that as otherwise it comes across as you are speaking of them as a whole. As I’m sure you are aware, certain posters try to paint it that way. As I’m sure you’re also aware, the mainstream media in the UK leans right in general - The Telegraph, The Times, The Express, The Mail, The Star, The Sun etc.
So, just to clarify, who are ‘the media’ in your description? Is it the Guardian?
Tangerine2000
Again, as usual, not what I'm saying, but please do go on.
Jimizo
Again, that depends on the politicians and the media. You have linked to media and politicians who revel in this kind of thing. That’s your choice. I’ll join you in ridiculing the media who call everyone a bigot for wanting an honest discussion, but the idea of the media and politicians as a whole ignoring it is inaccurate and getting very tiresome.
Tangerine2000
Politicians and the media will do their best to ignore the racial component to this attack. Think about it, multiple white people being stabbed to death by a Libyan terrorist at a BLM protest.
On the other hand, George Floyd's death, 4000 miles away from the UK, is an extremely important racial issue for British people.
Jimizo
Depends on the media and I’m not sure how familiar you are with the UK media.
Certain elements will revel in it and rabble-rouse, and as you say, others will do their best to ignore it or label people who want to discuss it as racists, bigots or phobes. I suspect you’d prefer the former approach and so I’d recommend the Mail or the Express. If you want an example of posturing and virtue signaling by which to ridicule the left, try the Guardian.

This is terror.Lets not sugar coat it.Or what would you call it?
regor
they already have the suspect, a Libyan citizen.
Zaphod
In other words, the media will not be particularly interested.
