Legalize drugs, and a lot of lives will be saved.

This is a tragedy. And I would like to see Obama to do far more to stop the violence that is killing so many people on our border. 3,000 deaths in a city of 1.3M is far too many.

Mexico = Terrorist controlled nation. Time to built a really high wall between Mexico and the United States.

High profits from the illegal drug trade + Easy access to lots of firepower = Yet another tragedy.

Things will just get worse, in both countries, until these two things are dealt with.

End the War on Drugs by legalizing cannabis and treating other drugs as medical problems, not criminal ones.

Highly restrict gun manufacturing and ownership.

I agree with Typhoon, Mexico needs to keep out all the terrorist guns and drug money being SUPPLIED by the USA that is making Mexico into a failed narco state. By the way, everyone in El Paso Texas knows how bad it is down in Ciudad Juarez and high school kids?? Buying cars?? Not their parents?? How do these kids have so much $$$$?? Geez, maybe they were drug dealers up in El Paso and somebody recognized them? Then somebody gave the order to shoot them up real good, just to kind of give a warning to any other homies from the Texas side to not get any bright ideas of doing illegal activities there in Ciudad Juarez?? What goes around comes around, if I know my people on both sides of these borders, somebody was up to no good and then you get your brains shot out, same thing happens in LA, Chicago, Trenton New Jersey, Miami etc...right? But just because it is American citizens killing off other American citizens over drugs etc..never will make the first page of the New York Times or JT etc...right??

Come on, lots of high schools kids in the US buy cars. You can easily get a decent used car for one summer's worth of work. Just looking at cars does not make them drug dealers. I bought a car for $1,000 at age 16 with money I saved up from summer jobs and babysitting, and it's really common to do so.

The 'virtual fence' that was finally OK'd by the Bush administration was effective, which is why Obama and the democrats have axed it.
