Not even Trump fans are expecting a replacement. They have been conditioned to expect lowered expectations.

Trump would be better off tweaking the existing plan with some minor changes and changing the name. His fans would consider it a massive win unequaled in the history of the US.

The replacement plan went down by one Republican vote in the Senate. The next debate on health care will begin when Obamacare is ruled unconstitutional by Justice Roberts next Fall.

Once he’s into his second term, he and the Dems should really come together rework or create something that is affordable, helps the people at the bottom and not impede or change the private insurance industry or employment based insurance.

The uninsured delay treating relatively benign health issues until the become acute, and then show up at a hospital emergency room expecting free care (Thanks, Reagan! - that was his answer to the health crisis). Particularly in red-state rural regions, this practice is a major factor in the insolvency and closure of hospitals, meaning your closest might be a hundred kilometers or more away.

Two key points of the ACA: to mandate that all Americans have insurance (with generous subsidies for those too poor); and to define what "insurance" is (many plans sold on Trump's cut-rate schemes are about as useful as automobile insurance that covers everything but collision).

As they say, the GOP plan is healthcare for the future - and always will be.

Nearly three years after taking office, Americans still are waiting for Trump’s big health insurance reveal.

Yeah, well, some obstacles have come up to that, not the least of which is that RINO McCain's deciding vote to keep the unconstitutional Obamacare.

Thank God Trump got rid of that mandate.

Not like the Dems were great successes with it.

Here's where Trump supporters with free socialist government military healthcare come here to tell us that no one else should get anything remotely close to what they have.

You think he cares your life?

this article acts like it doesn’t know John McCain screwed us out of having Trump healthcare years ago. Now we have to wait for the Supreme Court to kill the last parts of Obamacare.

Individual mandate gone is good. As is the right to try and the HIV/AIDS initiative. Don’t worry he has 5 more years to get it all worked to completion.

Do people forget that Obamas plan was designed to fail from the start? The architects of it stated that clearly. It was designed to fail and then replaced by government run sickcare (like in the UK). Thanks to Trump, that course towards disaster can probably be avoided in your country.

Designed to fail, huh? Please show us where they 'stated that clearly.'

Accused of trying to dismantle his predecessor’s health care law with no provision for millions who depend on it, Trump and senior administration officials have periodically teased that a plan was just around the corner.

I guess that corner is just too far for us mere mortals to see.

If Obamacare is replaced by Trump, whatever Trump replaces is with should be called Trumpcare.

And thank god for that! Trump healthcare; What is that like Trump steaks? Trump airlines? Trump casinos? Whatever it would have been, rest assured it would have been pure, putrid garbage. Hilarious watching these Trumpies think Donny has a clue. :D
