"The rally aimed to call for an end to the renewed violence between Kurdish rebels and Turkish security forces"

War is an extremely profitable business. Good luck trying to stop it...

The Middle East is a giant electric fan, that emanates explosive crap in all directions. It is to be expected that Turkey's geographic proximity is bound to put it on the front lines when bad stuff hits the fan. Turks have a powerful military, but they no doubt realize that full-fledged involvement in the hostilities will turn into a costly quagmire. An unenviable no-win situation.

Bombing a peace rally huh? Just how low can we go?

Whenever a bomb like this goes off, everyone in the US thinks of the bomber and condemns the region's people based on his act. No-one seems to see the thousands of young people demonstrating for peace. Those people ARE Turkey. And they'll be the last ones left standing when the dust clears.

"everyone in the US thinks..."

How about you speak for yourself next time, CrazyJoe? Your blanket claims about what "everyone" in the US thinks are about as absurd as your blanket claims that a Turkish rally consisting of Kurdish groups and leftists "ARE" Turkey!

Both claims are pretty far from the truth...

As Obama would say, "Turkey needs more bomb control laws".
