And what about the victim? A 62-year-old man certainly has some family members. No mention of the bereaved. The two boys, and possibly the 2 girls, deserve to serve hard time for their heinous crime.

What provokes such barbarity? And at such a young age?

I grew up in a suburb of Omaha (over 8 yrs there). Can't imagine what's going on with kids these days. Omaha was one of those mid-sized American cities where anyone could walk anywhere, at any time, without any fear of harm. Sad to see those simple things gone, stolen from all the people living there.

Seems the kids stole a car and it broke down outside the 62 yr old man's home. He was trying to help them, when they attacked.

A 16-year-old male was taken into custody for accessory to a felony (murder) and probation violation. A 15-year-old male was taken into custody for second-degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony. Two 13-year-old females were taken into custody for accessory to a felony (murder) and tampering with evidence.

The 15 and 16 yr olds are being charged as adults. There names have been released. The victim's name is Daniel Price. The teens had assault charges, until Mr. Price died.
