Sure would hate to see this escalate into Turkey. I lived there as a child and still very much like and admire the Turkish people. Even in 1961 it was a thriving, energetic, and magical place. Many cherished memories.

I agree with you, Hunter. I went from Egypt to Turkey and was amazed at just how different the two countries and cultures were even though they followed (for the most part) the same belief system. While Egyptian people were quite often rude and we encountered more than enough thieves and belligerent jerks to last a life-time, the people or Turkey were gratious, kind and always greeted everyone with a smile. I really hope the bloodshed can stay in the countries that are being run by the jerks that crave it.
