The marijuana policy has become less stringent under the Biden administration, allowing for up to 15 past uses in a year among White House staffers.

Now THAT'S funny.

There are lots and lots of people who never tried any drugs in their lives in govt jobs.

I was surprised - attended a CIA/FBI recruiting meeting in college. They began by stating that if you'd ever done any illegal drugs, then you wouldn't be considered. Only about 15% of the people stood and left in a room with over 200 students. Of course, 30% in attendance were really drunk, but that was fine.

The FBI knows all my old drug use. And it seems so does China. I wouldn't be able to count the number of time accurately in a year that cannabis was used - could have been 15 hard to say. What does every Friday and Saturday for a semester add up to?

The WH seems to want to have purely recreational users, no those with mental addiction (since Pot isn't physically addictive). Most of the harder drugs would include physical addiction, so banning use of those in the last 5 yrs or over age 22 would make since to me.

I would be happier with someone smoking a little weed a few times a year in a WH role than most of the people Trump forced security clearances be provided who should never of had any.

Should be a job requirement for the hawks in the WH. Chill out dudes.

That's a good way to recruit competent liars, which is probably among the job requirements. :-)

VP Harris admitted she is a big time doper in a radio interview after having spent years as a prosecutor sending black citizens to jail for the same offense. I am guessing she won’t be getting fired for her marijuana use now - hypocrisy much?

Rules for thee, but not for me (says Vice President Harris.)
