If you’re a gun nutter politician or the NRA, you should be forced to allow firearms at your rallies. Practice what you preach.

Thank God, we still have the freedom of choice in the US. Even Saint liberals know there’s no way that you can eradicate guns or tweak the Second Amendment

Totally avoiding the issue. Why shouldn’t guns be allowed at rallies of gun advocates?

Seems a bit hypocritical to say the least.

Lets all be glad we dont live in violent, gun infested America. Such a dangerous place.

RIP to the victims.

Milwaukee is one of the most violent cities in America and it is not getting any better! Truly sad day there!

The same way you know the Deep State exists and everyone who speaks out against Donny is biased. LOL

Ok, so liberals once again just trying to attack the 2nd amendment with no reason or knowledge whatsoever, it wouldn’t be the first or last time Lincoln was wrong on this issue.

If firearms are safe, why wouldn’t they allow firearms at their rallies?

They are safe, but that doesn’t mean you don’t have idiots that want to shoot or kill the President republican or democrat. There’s a time and a place for everything.

It’s called integrity.

Oh, boy..here we go...

How would you know this?

How dumb, why would ANY politician on the planet allow for carrying a firearm at any rally? Can’t believe you would even make that kind of statement.

I thought the only solution to a bad guy with a gun was a good guy with a gun. Isn't that what you pro-murder guys say? More guns = more safe? Suddenly now it's not poor children who could be at risk you think gun control is important.

Funny, the article just said 51 year old man.

Statistically, the gunman is likely to be a right wing white nationalist. He may not be: a brewery is an odd target. Did Molson Coors recently produce an advert or have a campaign that featured a minority?

Law of averages...

And you wonder why even though he hails the 2nd Amendment, why doesn't Trump allow "open carry" at his rallies?

What? I thought all the gun-nuts here were for open and concealed carry anywhere?

So I see you're OK with banning firearms, i.e., gun control, from certain locations and venues...Interesting...

Video footage from the scene showed streets cordoned off with numerous police and fire department vehicles ringing the area as brewery workers were escorted from buildings.

Looking at picts and videos what I noticed first was the equipment used by the local police, equipment normally used by militaries in war zones. Which most places in the US have become because of gun violence. I know the guns and ammo business is big business in the US, and they pay taxes. It would be interesting to compare the taxes paid by those industries to the taxes paid by citizens, the majority of whom are non-gun owners, for emergency responders and their equipment responding to gun violence.

@zichi--this beer conglomerate has been doing a lot of firing and moving staff around in recent times, reportedly. Its a shame that it set off a violent response.

RIP to all innocents senselessly murdered. No place in the US is safe because of the number of guns in circulation. Thank you police and emergency personnel.

(Trump) called the gun violence "a terrible thing."

while ignoring any connection between the number and types of guns anyone can own and gun violence.

The Coors family have historically been big supporters of the NRA.

I expect to hear 'the US needs to fund better mental health programs' from the pro-gun crowd. BTW How's that coming along? Y'all contacted your pols at all levels asking for more money for mental health programs? Or is Trump's wall still your priority.

"A wicked murderer opened fire at a Molson Coors brewing company plant," Trump said. "It's a terrible thing."

This is just Trump's usual boilerplate BS that serves no purpose and shows no leadership when an outraged public expects reassurances from their government that concrete measures will be taken to ensure their safety. More effective gun control to eliminate this scourge of American society is evidently far from the thoughts of this vulgar FOX TV-intoxicated and burger-chomping president. Which is why windows will be opening in America this election year and we are going to hear a mighty chorus: we're as mad as hell and we're not gonna take this anymore!

Just a typical situation in a country with hundreds of millions of guns and easy access to them. It shouldn't be a surprise, it should be expected.

See ya at the next one.

Another workplace shooting brought to you the Russian-backed NRA/GOP.

The rest of the civilized world looks at you, America, and thanks its lucky stars it is not you.
