I hope the fine young studs are properly disciplined. Like maybe taking them out to the shed where they raped the girl and giving them the wacking of their lives. Along with their worthless parents.

The parents of this young girl should be charged with child endangerment, abandonment, neglect, and mental cruelty. They deserved to be jailed more so than they boys who raped this poor girl. Don't misunderstand me, those boys should be sent to juvenile detention and be taught proper respect for women. In modern efforts to neuter western society, proper respect for women is no longer being taught to young boys. This is a big mistake, and the western cultures will certainly suffer as a result.

I hope the geniuses at the UN who are concerned about discrimination against women in Japan seriously think about this story and ask themselves if they are really putting their efforts where it's needed, or is there a world out there that could use help but the UN prefers to do what's "easy".

Totally agree with sharky1. On the other hand, the origin of the problem seems to be the violence those children have witnessed in Liberia and have taken for normal. What can be done about that? How to stop the violence?

I hope they receive similar treatment in jail themselves. The family should be charged with something and the child placed in a better home.

Are these nutjobs even US citizens? My take is the authorities should charge the family with any one of the crimes Sharky1 mentioned above, and hopefully one of those crimes is a deportable offense. Then deport these fools back to Liberia where apparently society accepts this behavior. Obviously the daughter should stay here since her family doesn't want her any way.

How did the parents gain permission to live in America? Is it possible to put them back out again? They are worse than the rapists.

Keep the girl, put her into a more loving and supportive home, and send the parents packing back to Liberia.

Feel really sorry for the little girl, I hope the Govt finds her some loving parents and not the trailer trash parents that she has. The Little girl should be given loving parents and the trash parents she has rounded up and deported back to the sh*thole they came from.

As for the boys, time for a trip to the vets and their manhood removed. I am a full supporter of rapists being sterilized and doing it with two bricks would scare the hell out of others! Make it so these little toads need to squat now to take a leak!

They are refugees. Gang rape is a serious problem in Africa, and it is starting to spread to African immigrant communities in the UK and now, apparently, the US. Disturbingly, incidents of gang rape are often "punishment" for girls by the male peers, for whatever transgretion the boys feel the girls have commited. This incident is a tragic example of a much wider problem.

The rapists were all Liberians as well. Interesting that the media doesn't like to print this information.

Isn't it great that these Africans are enriching our Western countries with their culture and traditions.

In Africa this kind of behaviour is not uncommon.

Refugees or not these people, the rapists and the retarded parents are in the US and they should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

I am as outraged at the parents as the rapists what the hell is wrong with these people. Agree with others who say the parents should be cahrged, maybe charges of child abandonment would stick.

Personally, I am hoping that a good Christian family in Arizona will adopt this poor girl and show the world how great America is.

We'll adopt the girl. They can deport the parents if they want. Amazing how many people still live in feudal cultures. Sad, really.

Well, if a crime is committed on US soil, then these folks, both the family of the girl and the perpetraitors deserve to be charged by US law for the crimes they've committed. Send them the message that when in Rome, do as the Romans do, not "We can do whatever we want". The US has basic human rights laws enforced here.

Her parents clearly take their daughter for granted. They should consider themselves lucky. Not just to have a child, but that she's still alive. Here in Nashville, we just had a trial for the 1975 rape and murder of 9-year-old Marcia Trimble. Imagine going through that horror!

If the family doesn't want her, then find her a family that will appreciate her and cherish her. She deserves better than to be thrown out with the trash.

Quite outrageous to those perpetrators(and their parents as well, regarding their misconduct for their age), and boo to this heartless parents who consider their daughter as a shackle.

The latest news in this case, is that the father is claiming he never said he wanted CPS to take the girl. He claims that a doctor talked to him after examining his daughter, and that there was no trauma. This despite there being 4 witnesses who heard him say what he did. And more then sufficient evident showing the girl was sexually assaulted. Essentially, he's being crucified for his public statements, by everyone, and is feeling the heat, so is trying to retract them. For myself, I sincerely hope he doesn't get his daughter back. At least not without undergoing long term counseling, to prove he is a fit parent.
