Most unfortunate. The victims died from fire burning when they could have been saved from virus attack..

the corrupt Iraqi authorities will deflect and blame the builders rather than admit their negligence in using it was the real problem.

You misread the article I believe. The "Turkish built facility" refers to a new 400 bed public hospital in Nasiriyah that was inaugurated last month by Prime Minister Mustafa Khademi but has yet to open. It was not referring to the temporary facility that burned.

This unfortunately has happened elsewhere and once before in Iraq. There were also occasions of Russian made ventilators catching fire.
