Maybe move to Florida, Texas or one of the other sunny states. The virus rates there must be plummeting with all that bright sunshine.

Just to take the first example, wearing a mask on public transport is now mandatory in Holland. Holland had a very severe outbreak of Covid in one of the most densely populated countries on the planet but did a great job getting the numbers down.

covid19 can last about 10 minutes in UV light, and yes it can clearly be transmitted outside in the open as we can see now by the spike in infections. What UV light cant kill is when the virus has been transmitted to your lungs. Just like Hydroxychloroquine has now been proven ineffective in fighting the virus so does UV light stop in its transmission.

People are more concerned with the other 10% that it does not inactivate. So 10% failure invalidates the 90% success. If a vaccine kills all but 0.01% of the virus, everyone will still declare the vaccine a failure. I suspect there will never be a 100% cure, just as there is no 100% cure for the flu or common cold. So in the meantime, unless there's 100% success rate, people will pull in their heads and legs like a turtle and hide. What a hypersensitive and intolerant world we live in.

I personally think they are inflating the numbers some. Example if you die from a heart attack and you have symptoms of corona virus. They will label the deaths do to corona virus.
