Biden has more than delivered on many of his promises.
Unlike the former occupant of the White House, who if he had been elected (god) would still be complaining about the China virus and wasting his time on Twitter and golfing.

The administration is in the middle of a monthlong blitz to combat vaccine hesitancy and the lack of urgency some people feel to get the shots, particularly in the South and Midwest.
Not coincidentally a hotbed of Evangelicalism and Republican leadership as well.

lol I don't think you understand what HBCU means. It's a type of school- not something the "media" made up. They date back to when black people couldn't enter the same colleges and universities as white people.

Nice one Joe.
Before accusing people of talking about the last guy or having him live rent free in their heads and other such nonsense just consider this simple fact; to know how good something is or how much it has improved you need to compare it to what existed before.

There is no way in hell that his predecessor could have gotten it done this quickly!
Biden truly does not see "red" or "blue" when it comes to this pandemic and the vaccinations, he just see's American's!
I guarantee that his predecessor would have played games with the states in distribution, and only those that kissed his proverbial butt would have seen any vaccines at all!

I dont see any "democrats" name listed as a writer of the article, do you? You blame the "democrats", but it's media, right-wing, left-wing, or any wing, that makes these distinctions when reporting on events or issues like this.
It's the READER that has to look past it and differentiate or sift through what is BS or not. If the reader accepts everything at face value, then it's the reader who has the problem!

Glad we are leading the way in ridding the virus like a true advanced country.

A massive number of vaccinations is the only way to lick this pandemic. Had Trump been president, America wouldn't have gotten this far and many more would still be dying and suffering from this awful virus. It's good to have goo old fashioned common sense directives emanating from the White House again.

Way to go, Joe!

Good news.

Suspicious numbers.
apparently 42% will refuse the vaccines.

Isn’t it wonderful that as Biden’s performance deceases and people don’t want to criticize him they just lower the expectation again?
now we have Biden successful at the again lowered expectations of “competent”
yay compet

No one cares that Trump went golfing. It's just a bit rich to go golfing several times a week, when he criticized Obama for golfing too much.
Good on you for admitting Trump was a terrible president. Easily the laziest we've ever had.

First off, there's no way that the US gets to 70% without coercive measures.
Secondly, there's no way Biden will delay 'opening up'.
Thirdly, that opening up is going to SARS-CoV-2Delta a 'summer of freedom' that'll hobble the American economy again. Just look at Britain (higher single shot %, 58% fully vaccinated, but having to stay closed despite what Boris Johnson wanted) to see where the US is headed this summer.

What does mobility have to do with anything? FDR was in a wheelchair for much of his presidency (elected four times) due to paralysis caused by polio. Pretty sure he was going through rehabilitation and treatments during that time as well.

The only theory of “trickle down” that I have seen advanced is one in which government borrows money and spends it, to prop up the economy. The effect is that the economic performance of that state trickles down the ladder as a result.
I would rather see individuals such as dagon put in charge of a greater amount of their own share of the money, because they would spend it more wisely than loons in central government. This would obviate the need for so much tax and spend in the first place, as a needless back and forth.
The Trump administration didn’t make significant reform moves in this direction, although it did achieve very low levels of unemployment prior to the pandemic.

How nice it is to have a president who not only is a narcissistic sociopath, but also is fundamentally competent at actually getting things done.
The usual suspects comments on this thread are particularly (insert a word that would get this comment moderated here).

150 days since inauguration and guess who you are still focused on? I predicted this and look forward to the next 150 days of your hearing about life's main focus.

200,000 Americans have died in four months under biden’s watch. He even inherited a vaccine from the previous administration yet still a 50% increase in deaths. Hardly an achievement to crow about.

Unfortunately, though you may not see it, generations have been impoverished by trickle down economics, from Reagan to the 2008 banker bailouts to Trump's corporate tax cuts.
It is not a dichotomy of :government=bad, business=good.
It is a corporatocracy where the financial infuence of big money on politics let businesses write the legislation to give themselves tax cuts and loopholes and subsidies and have it so they are "too big to fail" and bailed out in economic hardtimes.
While the public endures the full market forces in times such as this pandemic.
"Socialism for the rich, rugged market capitalism economics for the poor".
