Yep. It is what it is - socialism between the wealthy and corporations, nothing but savage capitalism for the poor and the middle class. That is just not right.
Many people seem to forget that if it wasn't for those "socialist" policies in FDR's first 2 terms, the US would have been in a deeper hole by the time the following decade arrived. I don't know what Republican lawmakers are even thinking, but implementing a temporary and renewable-if-necessary "socialist" aid program for the time the pandemic is still on should be a bare minimum. The temporary part must be emphasized time and time again; it is not a substitute for a job after the pandemic is over.
Right here in Canada, we have a minority Liberal government that implemented what we call the Canada Emergency Response Benefit to help workers in need. That measure did not meet too much opposition from the Conservative Party in the context that it is TEMPORARY. We all know that we will have a huge deficit, but we allow people to not be coerced between either making enough for a living or taking care of themselves.

The virus is on the rampage, your economy is going nowhere until you get a grip of that.
Correct. Your man should have been on this in January instead of pretending it was a hoax. As a result 250,000 are dead and he's out of a job. Incompetence has consequences.

The Republicans warned embracing "socialism" would make the US a failed state leading to bread lines. The Trump admin's dereliction has brought that without any socialism except for companies.

Seriously splitting hairs at this point. Eventually you will have to come to some sort of acceptance regarding this election. Then, you can start to complain about everything that Biden does/doesn't do, just like Republicans did during the Clinton and Obama eras, and just like the Democrats did during W and Trump.
I get it that people attach more of their own personal identity and feeling of self-worth to the fortunes of their political candidate or tribe of choice today, but it's going to be a long 4...8....??? years unless the Republicans do some soul searching and understand the directions in which the US is changing. Each election does not need to be a revenge game.
I understand that this situation feels like a last gasp for certain aspects of the Republican party or tribes that have attached themselves thereto. Maybe the Republican party can shed those tribes that drive others away and develop more inclusive policies that allow more peoples to thrive.

We have to do something to help the unlucky victims of this pandemic due to the current president's incompetence and idiots like Don Jr. who is also infected with COVID-19. Like idiot father, like idiot son.
I guess he will also be looking to run for political office like the rest of the trump clan of deplorables.

This is actually true, the Trump administration has been completely transparent about doing nothing.

Trump lost. To the detriment of the American people, even democracy itself, he just wants to stay in the limelight foe a bit longer. It would be best, and probably save many lives, if he just conceded and let the transition go smoothly as it has for every election until now.

The American voting public have elected Biden, regardless what Trump, his fellow Republicans, his US and 'global' alt right supporters say.
Add the above phrase to 'hoax', 'fraud', 'witch hunt', 'fake news', 'MSM', 'government overreach', 'muh Russia' and so many others used by the 'global' alt right.

Biden is not president-elect, he did not win the election. Just because the MSM calls him the winner does not make it true.

It didn’t have to be like this, there were so many ways the Democrats leaders could allow certain job industries go to work in a very safe and calculated environment, they didn’t and there’s a reason now even the police chief in LA won’t follow Newsom insane orders on lockdowns, they have been so destructive and as a result caused more breadlines, more damage, more suicides, kids that are less competitive, more depression and now these so called leaders are getting more pushback and resistance from law enforcement and it’s about time.
Allow people to work and allow them to access their healthcare benefits.
Biden is President-elect.

Biden becomes president next year. That's when Trump should give him his "two weeks" notice...
