Kind of a failed state, at least on the drugs war front. another strong argument for stopping the War on Drugs and starting a more sensible approach.
JJ Jetplane
Even though El Chapo is in prison, the Sinaloa cartel has not lost power. This cartel isn't the same as the cartels of old. This cartel is a unification of all the cartels so it's harder to beat.

The vast majority of firearms used in Mexico originate in the US, just as a vast majority of drugs manufactured in Mexico are consumed in the US.

Only way is the Dutertes way.

Doesn’t excuse for one minute the crime they commit and the murders they’re accused of.
Chip Star
Good thing I wasn't saying it does. Good thing it's not a logical inference from my post that that is what I was saying.
bass4funk
Implying can be seen as the same
bass4funk
As was I. Doesn’t absolve the fact that what the reason, these men are perpetrators of these alleged crimes.
Chip Star
Excusing this crime wasn't an implication of my post.
Good thing absolving these criminals wasn't an implication of my post or a logical inference from it.

Are there no satellites to track that convoy of distinctive vehicles?

Supply and demand.
Cut out the cartels and middlemen by legalizing drugs. It's really that simple.
bass4funk
But it was an excuse nonetheless.
Yes and then the country will be like Colorado, weed smoking pot headed zombies walking incoherently around

I think you get your information from outmoded and archaic sources like "Reefer Madness". Recreational users include doctors, journalists, politicians, dentists, teachers, architects etc etc. But it's not just the so-called "respectable" professions. People from all walks of life use drugs. Of course, it's when it becomes all consuming, like alcohol or any other addiction - that's a danger. But most recreational users aren't like that. And they certainly wouldn't be doing it at work.
Certainly far more coherent and focused people, than the occupant of the WH, who relies on (allegedly) adderall and sudafed.

Cocaine has been dogging America for decades because our government allows it. Ever seen 'Miami Vice'?
I do too but he's nothing compared to the political kingpins he answers to, and some of them are in the US government.

So sad situation!
Like it or not, but this is just triggered by USA drug demand.
Nobody is forcing the Great American guys to consume drugs!
Legalise it maybe?
Chip Star
At no point did I expressly or implicitly excuse this crime.
This is absolutely incorrect.
bass4funk
Then at the same time we don’t need to give make excuses for and where the guns come from when Mexico and cartels like the Sinaloa Cartel that continue to terrorize the region and the US.

Where are Arnie and Rambo when we need them?
