Donny did not ever declare bankruptcy. Several of his companies did but it was not his money. It belonged to investors that were gambling on a company making money and that is capitalism.

I have gambled and lost on investments and it was my doing. Just go with the flow.

Donny did not put his own cash in nor did he put his property up for collateral which is not smart business accuity if one does. You convince others to put in the money and hopefully make them richer so they support your future endeavors.

I agree he is an annoying and very immature person to be president, but he sure knew how to pull people in to invest with him at the healm.

At least the orange clown has not gotten us into a new war yet.

This is why I love pencil and paper.

So when Donny declares bankruptcy

Exactly, that's why Bloomberg would be a better president. He's 20x richer and how many times did Bloomberg go bankrupt?

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

Mooching off and giving it to others

How can you mooch off and still give to others?? Logic fail!!!

expecting everyone to pay for you and taking my hard earned money away from hardworking people.

So when Donny declares bankruptcy , he's expecting the banks to pay his share, the money earned by other hardworking people. So does that mean Donny is a socialist????

Interesting theory!!!

No comeback, thought so.

Yawn....

And there we go. I guess that answers Serranos question. As I predicted....

He's so paranoid he thinks 10M people voted fraudulently for Hillary. Proof he won't leave the WH when he is defeated.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Well I guess I should join the parade and declare myself "I Won" everyone else did.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

And there we go. I guess that answers Serranos question. As I predicted....

It's true he has memory problems. There is proof about that. Also, he thinks Hillary is out to get him. He's a paranoid old man.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

USA is so entertaining.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

yes, he is delusional and has memory problems. Too old and even if he wasn't he would be too crazy anyway. By the way, his hair is fake.

And there we go. I guess that answers Serranos question. As I predicted....

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Not to get even more conspiratorial but weren't there rumors that Hilary Clinton would enter the race after the Iowa caucuses, especially if Bernie won? Having the party manufacture a bit of chaos, suspicion and infighting would certainly be one way to ensure that her entry into the race as a unity candidate would be better received.

for the anti-Trumpers here, is there any Republican you would support over any of the Democrat candidates?

Chris Christie or John Kasich? I don't like any candidate around the age of 70 or older. Why didn't you want Christie in the first place over Trump? Trump is crazy. But a decent choice might be Pete B. Yes, he's young. But he is not mentally impaired yet from old age (and yes, Trump is and there is proof like the way he always repeats the word "Hillary" like she's out to get him). Interesting that Trump never messes with Pete B. or calls him names like "Crooked Hillary" or "Pocahontas". I think Trump is intimidated by him because Pete did serve and Trump didn't and made excuses.

But don't worry, because Trump won't leave the WH if he is defeated in the election. He's guaranteed to stay.

results delayed by 'inconsistencies'

A safe interpretation of this is that a non-swamp approved candidate got too many votes, so the establishment needs to fix this problem and get their man in.

Seems it's a problem with the app

For the first time, they're using an app to send the count numbers

Did they not test the app beforehand?

Iowa caucus, ya had 4 years to do one thing!

(Although Iowa has been a poor predictor on who's ultimately going to win - instead it functions more of a filter on who's going to continue)

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Define socialist!!

Mooching off and giving it to others and expecting everyone to pay for you and taking my hard earned money away from hardworking people.

Even Chris Matthews knows it. I usually don’t agree with him, but in this, he’s spot on.

Yawn....

No comeback, thought so.

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

What?

My point exactly!

the country is not going to elect a socialist.

Define socialist!!

Even Chris Matthews knows it. I usually don’t agree with him, but in this, he’s spot on.

Yawn....

Republicans were also holding Iowa caucuses on Monday, with Trump, who has around 90 percent support in his party, declared the projected winner by various media outlets.

Just wondering... for the anti-Trumpers here, is there any Republican you would support over any of the Democrat candidates?

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

I would bet a substantial sum ( for me, lol ) that the inconsistencies did not favor Bernie Sanders.

Hopefully this isn't a repeat of 2016 when the Party aristocracy overturned democratic principles to ensure their candidate won.

Agreed. I gave you a thumbs-up for that, Pete.

Donny's biggest undoing, more than his crookedness and dishonesty, will be his inferiority complex when compared to Obama.

What?

He tried hard for a Nobel, literally begging Kim for a deal, Kim took him for a ride and then broke up with Donny when he was no longer useful.

I see....well, anyhoo, the country is not going to elect a socialist. Even Chris Matthews knows it. I usually don’t agree with him, but in this, he’s spot on.

Oh yes, I remember, that’s the Carpet Bagger herself..no, you don’t stand a chance....that’s your Hope, but it’s actually what you fear.

A duly impeached president.

A duly discredited fraudster.

or like, but they won the popular vote!

or, but he won a Nobel? Lol

Its still not going to help the Democrats...

-2 ( +4 / -6 )

Says the person that supports the evil Democrats trying to undo an election by a duly elected President.

Yeah, I've heard that one before. It's the go-to meme that never gets old.

A duly impeached president.

A duly discredited fraudster.

the Democrats were pushing illegals to vote in the last Presidential election

As "proven" by Chris Kobach!

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

W#arren should get a 9 year old LGBT schoolkid to help with the count.  Like selecting the Cabinet.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Probably will be, won’t change the outcome of the General, none of them are going to win,

Since most of them are beating Donny I guess it will not change the outcome of the General Election.

0 ( +4 / -4 )

Tinfoil hats on standby - not just for the Trump nutz but also the Bernie crowd...

When did good old incompetence stop being a valid explanation for good old incompetence?

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

let the back stabbing, the finger pointing, the cannibalizing begin!

theez loonz....)

I agree.

I think this is more about "Iowa" than the democrats or republicans. You all love to get at each other's throats, but this is a small town, small caucus, small state.

Nothing to see here! Look over there, a chipmunk that looks like Trump!

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Now I know you didn’t say that the pandemonium that engulfed The Iowa Caucus tonight? Lol

What a joke that was, even Democrats don’t know which candidate they want as their leading forerunner.

But perhaps not surprising in a country that still uses an archaic electoral system in which the least popular candidate in a presidential vote can be elected President.

Archaic, I think it’s a brilliant system.

Probably will be, won’t change the outcome of the General, none of them are going to win, but I do have empathy and deeply believe the establishment is doing whatever they can to make sure the non-establishments don’t win, it’s abundantly clear now.

Definitely the work of the deep state.

Hardly a day goes by that we're not served up yet another reason to hate computers.

Says someone using a computer :)

This is very embarrassing. But perhaps not surprising in a country that still uses an archaic electoral system in which the least popular candidate in a presidential vote can be elected President.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Like some of you have already pointed out.. it seems that Bernie won, didn't he? Lol

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Data quality, consistency is important, however the public should know what these are about.

Since we had Russian interference the last time, it becomes even more important that proper check are done. The GOP nutters have difficulty counting and will start bringing in conspiracy theories soon...

Sometimes updating a system that works though old fashioned, worked as long as people had integrity. Unfortunately that wishful thinking is a thing of the past.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

This is so amusing, the Democrats were pushing illegals to vote in the last Presidential election in a very poor attempt to beat Trump and now they are playing these inconsistent games with themselves - this is so hilarious Trump is gonna have great win 2020, it would be even more amusing if the Republicans gained control of both houses.

must be burying all the Andrew Yang delegates .

comedy gold...these loons...lol

-1 ( +5 / -6 )

lol...."inconsistencies"....the wrong person (Bernie) came out on top, so they had to change that right quick...!

"In addition to the tech systems being used to tabulate results, we are also using photos of results and a paper trail to validate that all results match and ensure that we have confidence and accuracy in the numbers we report," state party spokeswoman Mandy McClure said.

Then why use an app in the first place?

all that snark about Kansas City boomeranged right back on you. Really quiet here, so I will just leave you in your misery.

An inability to know even the home state of one of the teams in the Superbowl, that the President apparently watched, is totally different from an app not working.

As above, just why an app was used when humans checking things seemed to be working fine is beyond me, though. Glad to see Biden appears to be getting thrashed, though. If he's the nominee, Trump wins.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

Well, looks like Putin and Donnie are getting a little practice in before Nov 2020...

Guess we now know what was discussed on those phone calls and at the Summits where the records and notes all disappeared...

-2 ( +6 / -8 )

I guess this means Bernie won and the DNC is trying to figure out a way to purge enough of his votes to let Biden come out on top? Or something similar?

9 ( +11 / -2 )

It's not off to a rocky start, the Democrats once again are interfering in the election process.

2 ( +9 / -7 )

United States of inconsistencies...

0 ( +3 / -3 )

United States of Delays...

1 ( +4 / -3 )

The fix is already in.  This is why the Dems are so obsessed with election fixing - projecting their own modus operandi.

7 ( +12 / -5 )

“Entrance poll results showed that defeating Donald Trump is top of the list of concerns for caucus-goers”

Not anymore it’s not. I think in exit polls “why cant Dems even count my vote?” has taken over the lead.

No group is more enticed by pie-in-the-sky promises of free stuff and redistribution than college students. Someone slap some sense into them! Indoctrination at schools needs to stop. Bernie is not the answer.

-4 ( +8 / -12 )

CNN now:

“It's not just that the Iowa caucus is unrepresentative demographically -- more than 90% white. It's far more white than a national party that prizes its diversity. The problem is even more fundamental.”

yes, smart guy. The problem is actually that no one in the DNC can count the votes. But yep let’s go down the racial path while we wait.

0 ( +8 / -8 )

All this time talking about “Russians” and about trump should have been spent actually preparing for this. Not like it was scheduled at the last minute or anything. These people are gonna run healthcare?

i think Bernie in 1st and “frontrunner” Biden in 5th might also have something to do with the discrepancies. That just can’t be, right?

1 ( +9 / -8 )

Hopefully this isn't a repeat of 2016 when the Party aristocracy overturned democratic principles to ensure their candidate won.
