Trump exaggerated.

Why the coronavirus appears to affect children differently than it affects adults is one of the great mysteries of the current pandemic.

And it's a question that Rosalind Eggo, an assistant professor of mathematical modeling from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, and her colleagues have tried to answer.

"What we found was that people under 20 were about half as susceptible to infection as people over 20," Eggo says.

So kids and teens appear far less likely than adults to actually get infected with the virus.

"And then we also found that the probability of showing clinical symptoms ... so getting ill enough that you report the infection... that rose from around 20% in 10- to 19-year-olds, up to around 70% in those over 70," she says.

Trump exaggerated.

Which definitely makes your guys' choice for president qualified. I mean, look at how the country isn't burning down with race riots, and isn't diseased from the inside out with a virus in the midst of a pandemic with your economy crashing.

Trump exaggerated.

And so he was put on mute. No problem.

Now is not the time for his sarcasm, trolling or “telling it like it is”. Americans want science, answers and leadership.

wartime president indeed, oh my...

Trump exaggerated

Trump lied. No need for the PC filter.

look at how the country isn't burning down with race riots,

Yeah, in liberal Democrat controlled cities.

and isn't diseased from the inside out with a virus in the midst of a pandemic

The virus is worldwide.

with your economy crashing.

Because of mostly Democrat lockdowns. Economies all over the world have been negatively impacted by the virus from China.

Trump claimed that children are "almost immune" to COVID-19.

More lies from the pathological monster who has helped destroy the US.

If only there was a vaccine to cure us of him. Ah, yes... November.

Trump repeated his claim that the virus had little impact on children.

"Children handle it very well,"

The above statement is absolutely dangerous, the children were the most vulnerable to the virus! Trump's misleading message might causing huge deaths of children! Look Trump do thing with political motivation instead of looking at what is real or solving the problems!  Wakeup don't believes the belief of present US president, he is unqualified! BTW, don't watch FOX news, they were right wing nuts spreading untrue messages! Both of them were criminals!

I mean, look at how the country isn't burning down with race riots

don't you mean 'peaceful protests'?

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

BTW, don't watch FOX news

and watch CNN which has the narrative that it is no problem to burn cities, arrest business owners for opening small businesses and ignoring deaths of African Americans by the hands of other African Americans? How about watching unbiased news that actually reports news not opinions?

So nobody has a problem with Twitter deciding what we may see and what not?

Btw, the Twitter official who announced Trump campaign account suspension is the former Kamala Harris press secretary. No politics involved, eh?

I have a problem with the hypocrisy of the right who for years have decried government interference, yet preach for government interference on Twitter especially when those same hypocrites also go on about how anyone can start their own business in capitalism, yet for some treason have decided that’s not fair when the shoe is on the other foot.

But your team seems to be pretty ok with hypocrisy as long as it keeps them in power.

So nobody has a problem with Twitter deciding what we may see and what not?

Do you think Twitter should not be allowed to set its own rules or conditions of use?

Trump exaggerated.

My, what a generous standard you have with respect to false statements by politicians.

Others might find that characterizing a finding like this that you quoted:

"What we found was that people under 20 were about half as susceptible to infection as people over 20,"

As children being "almost immune" is insanely irresponsible which can't be dismissed as a mere "exaggeration". Its a gross distortion and one that could have severe repercussions for anyone acting on it, like the 30% or so of the population that treat's Trump's words as gospel truth on this.

I have a problem with the president of the USA using twitter as his primary vehicle of communication. You should to. Although after watching the HBO interview this week I can certainly understand why he’s reticent to speak publicly.

He’s free to say what he wants on his own platforms. Twitter will decide what is permitted in theirs. Anti-trump celebrities are being ‘censored’ for the exact same videos and misinformation.
