Trump knows he and his Republicans need to keep the anti-vaxx, Qanon wacks in their 'tent'. They won't risk alienating them by having Trump admit he got a vaccination. If Trump admits to having got the shot, many of his followers might think he's now got the 'chip' in him and is being controlled by the alien reptiles.

the majority of people questioning these experimental vaccines are neither conspiracy theorists nor Trump supporters.

Denmark, Norway and Iceland just suspended the AstraZeneca vaccine over safety concerns.

mRna vaccines had been trying to get approval for the best part of 20 years without success.

Human experimentation is banned under the Nuremberg code

I kind of feel tromp shouldn’t tell his supporters.

The less he tells, the less of them there are to vote next time.

Market the vaccine under the Trump brand. Trump will be happy and his followers will all sprint to get the jab.

Fauci unleashed can now tell us the truth he was unable to when muzzled by Trump who got his vaccine surreptitiously before he checked out. We can surmise that he didn't want the public to see the mighty Potus wince and pull a face as the needle went in his arm ( we all saw how the weasel jumped when he ruffled Uncle Sam's feathers - an early prediction of a profile in courage, not).

donald secretly took the vaccine against a disease he denied .

donald knows bigotry is enough to keep his brainless flock, so whether they vaccinate or not doesn't bother him much!!!

LOL!!!

The 45ists and conspiracy theorists will do anything he says.

We've seen the evicence of this on January 6th.

Thank goodness there's a sensible Irishman in the White House to keep the nativists at bay and listen to the experts.

Of course, sensible measures must be taken to ensure vaccines are up to scratch.

Has Q had the shot yet?

4 ( +8 / -4 )

Ireland made the same decision earlier on Sunday, suspending use of the AstraZeneca vaccine after four new cases of people suffering serious blood clotting after receiving the shot were reported in Norway. Denmark stopped offering AstraZeneca vaccine jabs on Thursday after some recipients developed blood clots, and Norway followed suit. Austria, Iceland and Italy also have postponed or restricted their rollouts of the vaccine based on the same concerns. Health authorities have pointed out that they haven’t yet established a clear link between the AstraZeneca jab and the reported medical issues that patients suffered.

"The World Health Organization has said the vaccine is still considered safe to use and hasn’t been proven to cause blood clotting."

So, you have to prove the vaccine isn't safe? You go first.

Wow. Even now it’s Oranges fault. He got vaccinated and has told ppl to do so but now just because he didn’t do it on camera I’d an issue. Sad.

Trump worshipers? A cult of 50% adult Americans?

most people who are cautious about vaccines are not Bible Belt or ex-slavery state citizens. They are thinking people.

pure trump bashing, blaming.

This is all down to liberal propaganda. Trump led the way in defeating the fake flu, and during scientific research, a gene was found that is prominent in many Democrats that makes them inexplicably angry at anything orange. Fact.

There is no point in having issues with the greatest leader, ever. It was the liberal scare mongering which killed half a million people. That and mask wearing, which according to some statistics, can asphyxiate people with existing weight, financial and self esteem problems.

Trump convinced his followers to inject Mr. Clean to fight covid-19.

the majority of people questioning these experimental vaccines are neither conspiracy theorists nor Trump supporters.

The vaccines are no longer experimental from months ago. Questioning is not a problem, not accepting the scientific explanations just because you want to believe otherwise is.

Denmark, Norway and Iceland just suspended the AstraZeneca vaccine over safety concerns.

Which is fine and expected, until now no concern has been confirmed which mean resuming immunization is fine.

mRna vaccines had been trying to get approval for the best part of 20 years without success.

And without any special safety concern either, it is always more difficult to improve over something that is already solved (so the vaccine have to be better than the one before) than becoming the standard to surpass because yours is the first effective vaccine. This is what happens with a new disease.

Human experimentation is banned under the Nuremberg code

No it is not, and the vaccines are no longer experimental, the purpose of immunizing people now is not to get data but to use the therapeutic benefits.

most people who are cautious about vaccines are not Bible Belt or ex-slavery state citizens. They are thinking people.

Thinking people can understand the scientific evidence proves above any rational doubt that the approved vaccines are much safer than risking the natural infection, even for young healthy adults. Refusing to accept the evidence for irrational and false reasons are not being "cautious".

there is no long tern study on these experimental vaccines so nobody can honestly say they are safe.

Yes it can validly be said so, because there is nothing in the vaccine that has not been tried for years on people (or the virus introduces to the body millions of times over).

The main point is that vaccines are safer than COVID-19, because the infection already is related with fatal consequences as well as long-lasting or even permanent health problems, none of the vaccines have those risks proved (only suspected and then discarded). That means the vaccine is safer than the infection even on the long term.

The main point is that vaccines are safer than COVID-19,

Crystal ball speaking? Viruses will always produce, because humans eat other species. Vaccines are created by humans and can also kill. Time will tell.

(BTW, I’ve had Hep, Smallpox, yellow Fever vaccines, not anti-vax.)

-7 ( +4 / -11 )

Crystal ball speaking?

No, scientific data. You just need to compare what are the risks and consequences of being infected against the risks and consequences of being vaccinated. It is clear. There is no need to divinate anything, just compare rates of complications and death from vaccinated/unvaccinated people and infected/uninfected people and see which gives a lower risk, that is the safer option.

Not being vaccinated is not a requisite to be qualified as an anti-vaxxer, using false, misleading or irrational arguments to disqualify vaccines would be. People can be let to unnecessary anxieties and become hesitant towards vaccination because of those invalid arguments, but that is a different thing.

As much as I love Trump he could preach all day long to get vaccinated and I wouldn’t. Besides, what is The good Dr. Fauci talking about, Trump did say and urge people to get the vaccine that need it, Fauci is starting to forget things...hmmm

-7 ( +4 / -11 )

Fauci no longer restrained by the previous old fat guy

As opposed to the older skinny guy?

and now the head expert on the pandemic.

Lol, ok....

He's forgetting his difficult role during the previous term.

I think Fauci is just forgetful.

Trump’s Operation Warp Speed is the reason many Americans already have it.

Why would Trump supporters not take it? I’m not following.

Anti-Vaxxers may not want it. But it’s their choice.

1 ( +6 / -5 )

And of course to Trump supporters, and the far-right fantasy land they live in, getting a vaccine is political

That’s right, not to mention it’s an individual choice whether a person wants to get it or not.

Wouldn't it be ironic if Trump had a large investment stake in funeral homes...

Speaking of Whitmer and Cuomo.....

Fauci says Trump should urge his followers to get vaccinated

Completely stupid headline. Trump initiated the "operation warp speed" vaccine development program that the current admin now uses, so obviously he is not an anti-vaccer. What his "followers" think is up to them.

Thanks for confirming it.... In Trump-world Libs get vaccinated, Trump supporters get polio, smallpox, tuberculosis, and COVID...

Wouldn't it be ironic if Trump had a large investment stake in funeral homes...

Speaking of Whitmer and Cuomo.....

Trump Taj Mahal Casino and Funeral Parlor...has to be in those tax returns the Manhattan Prosecutor now has...

This is a good idea except for the fact that Trump and his supporters lack the intellectual capacity to understand that getting vaccinated is the correct thing to do.

Thanks for your daily scientific facts. Kind of like how your boy Joe said the Black and Latino communities aren't getting the vaccine because they don't know how to use the internet. By the way, has your entire family and friends gotten the vaccine already? Will you be first in line to get the vaccine when available to your age group?
