A HERO , speechless

Sacrificed his own life to save another. That’s about as courageous it gets.

Ramadan is coming soon and there’s usually a spike in atrocities. Let’s hope no more courageous and moral people have to lose their lives to the jihadist filth.

A very brave and selfless man.

What bravery.

Exactly! All the "cracking down" on Muslims and the racial profiling, as well as banning burkas and headwear, and other bigotry and extremism is what has helped fuel this kind of extremism.

Some majority Muslim countries ban the burka.

For some Muslims, it is a symbol of extremism.

Are they bigots and extremists?

Beltrame was a true public servant. It takes a lot of courage to volunteer like he did knowing how violent Islamic extremists are.

RIP to all the victims.

Strangerland, you are very wise indeed.

Exactly! All the "cracking down" on Muslims and the racial profiling, as well as banning burkas and headwear, and other bigotry and extremism is what has helped fuel this kind of extremism.

Yet, sub-saharan Africans from Christian majority countries have faced just as much bigotry, discrimination and racism over decades in France yet they don't commit horrific atrocities against the innocent. Why the difference?

A truely brave man.

Of course then I forgot to say what I came on here to say... which is RIP to a true hero. Don't see many like him.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends

C'était un homme courageux. I'm not sure how many of us could do what he did when it comes down to making that decision.

Heh, this is up to -11 votes now, and still no one is willing to come out and answer it:

So what specifically has been dishonest about the debate until now?

I bet I know the answer they don't want to publicly answer the question. Because their answer makes them look really, really bad.

More reasons to strictly control or completely stop migration from problem countries, the world needs to wake up to this threat and do all that it can to stamp it out

How many good men and women like this heroic policeman will be sacrificed before open borders fascism is finally ended? #BlueLivesMatter

What a hero.

Hopefully this will spur a more honest debate in France.

clamenza: "Hopefully this will spur a more honest debate in France."

Exactly! All the "cracking down" on Muslims and the racial profiling, as well as banning burkas and headwear, and other bigotry and extremism is what has helped fuel this kind of extremism. That, and the gun was probably imported from an easy place to get them... like the US. Those are the kind of things you probably meant.

Thank God someone knows the answer!

Hopefully this will spur a more honest debate in France.

So what specifically has been dishonest about the debate until now?

He is a hero. But I wonder who really shot him when the special services stormed the place.

So what specifically has been dishonest about the debate until now?

Six people down-voted this comment, but not one could actually answer it.

Which says to me that their answer is 'the debate until now hasn't been discriminatory against Muslims enough'.
