As the hardliner Islamists are doing the counting, well, we know who's going to win before the ballots.

If one wants insight into what the Iranian population actually is feeling, rather than the hearing what those with unshakable opinions about what Iranians are supposed to be feeling are being told by a few Iranians that they maintain contact with because they confirm their unshakable opinions, check out the Canadian company Iranpoll.
Strangely, their SCIENTIFICALLY RIGOROUS population polling matches reasonably well with the 'suspect' vote counts.

I ask because I do not know.....can we expect a fair election, and if anyone other than the religious zealot wins, will he be allowed to serve? Also, do women vote, and can women serve in office?

Will the Kremlin meddle in this election to ensure their preferred candidate, most likely the most authoritarian, continues Iran's brand of religious authoritarianism helping Russia and its pal China to have more control over the planet's oil and gas? Iran is similar to Venezuela, Russia and other countries, rich in natural resources like fossil fuels, the majority of its citizens get by on little little while the rulers and their chosen oligarchs live in luxury.
