And the circus continues.......

I wonder what special acts Bojo The Clown has planned out.

Johnson also slammed his main rival, left-wing Labour Party leader Jeremy Corbyn, comparing him to former Soviet dictator Josef Stalin and — erroneously — claiming he had sided with Russian President Vladimir Putin over a nerve-agent attack on British soil.

I’m no fan of Corbyn but Johnson really should try to stop lying for a few minutes.

He’d be better employed trying to enforce some discipline on members of his party spewing crap about people who died in a tragedy.

Little bit off topic but there has been a massive amount of UK news on JT of late. As a Brit I can’t complain, but it seems disproportionate- some of the news is pretty minor news in the UK from the looks of it.

Straight out of the Trump playbook.  Monkey see, monkey do.

Straight out of the Trump playbook. Monkey see, monkey do.

To be fair to Johnson, he was lying and making idiotic statements long before Trump lowered the tone.

Johnson was fired from his first job in journalism for making up quotes.

Johnson should campaign on all the achievements of the Conservative Party, who've been in power for a mere ten years. Oh wait....

I hope the Brexit party takes everyone else to the cleaners.

I hope the Brexit party takes everyone else to the cleaners.

Surely you don't think that's very likely.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

It's not very likely; more's the pity.

Jeremy Corbyn cannot in all seriousness, even remotely be juxtaposed to mirror dictator Josef Stalin.

Politicly all Party's wheels are politically wobbling, they don't know there backsides from their elbows. Shrill unnecessary lunacy.

"These politicians are actual aliens."

Yes, THEY LIVE! Stormzy's got those sunglasses and he can see right through them. The election is going to upset the UK's political applecart with 3 different platforms vying for business. Johnson's going to lose his apples because he never learned the lesson: if it ain't broke, don't brexit! Corbyn's reasonable but risky campaign for big social change to benefit "the many over the few" and then later allowing voters to have the final say on Brexit will see some of his apples fall on the Lib Dem's cart because, as history shows, complicated left -wing arguments leave too many punters intellectually challenged. It's likely the Lib Dems will be the main beneficiaries from the Brexit brouhaha, but unlikely they will have enough apples to set up store. Gridlock born of Brexit should result in rescinding Article 50 as the only way to move forward.

What Brexit Party policies do you like?

It is November 7.

Why isn’t Boris in a ditch yet?

Insider secret: at some point every journalist has made up quotes.

You mean Albino Gorilla see Albino Gorilla do

Johnson also claimed inaccurately that ~

Translation - he lied. Again.

posting a doctored video of a senior Labour figure on Twitter that appeared to show him failing to answer a question, when in fact he did

Translation - they lied. Again.

Why isn’t Boris in a ditch yet?

I think (hope) perhaps he is, he just hasn't noticed yet.

Albino Gorilla see Albino Gorilla do

You got something against albino gorillas?

What Brexit Party policies do you like?

All of them. Check out their manifesto.

Corbyn is going to deport all the Tories to exile in.... The Falkland islands!  But was that a bad idea? I don't think so!

only when they occupy downing street or the white house

Every journalist, eh? Quite the knowledge you have there. Have all of them been fired at some point because it was so egregious?

@No Business

All of the Brexit Party policies are good? I can honestly say I have never voted for any party while agreeing with all their policies. The manifesto must be a masterpiece.

Can you send us a link to this manifesto? I’m particularly concerned with the state of the NHS and the proliferation of food banks. What policies is he offering to deal with these issues?

Thanks in advance.

It is for the Falklanders.

Farage was driveling about turning the Falklands into a penal colony in the past. Is that in his ‘manifesto’? How about reintroducing smoking to the pub? Did that make the cut?

Nigel has apparently vowed that he will never issue a manifesto. His party/company does have some stated policies, however.

https://www.theweek.co.uk/101632/the-brexit-party-s-policies-examined

To summarise:

A hard Brexit to be implemented yesterday.

Voting reform to replace fptp with a system of proportional voting.

Abolish the House of Lords

Cancel the HS2 rail project

Scrap inheritance tax

Scrap interest on student loans

Halve overseas aid

Free WiFi on public transport

Unicorns and sunny uplands for all

The NHS and food banks are not mentioned at all, I'm afraid.

Nigel has apparently vowed that he will never issue a manifesto.

That’s what I thought but No Business claims to have read one.

Mind you, I once saw a sign on the side of a bus saying the NHS was going to get 350 million quid a week after Brexit.

Crazy stuff.

Boris is working himself into a deeper hole.

If Corbyn’s economics were more rational and Diane was let go then I would give him a chance...

It was reported on the news over here that Boris has refused to release the results of the investigation into Russian meddling in the Brexit vote until after the next elections. Why? Is Boris afraid that if voters know why they are undergoing Brexit that they will not vote for the Conservatives?

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Sorry to ask, Cleo, Jimizo, zichi,

Politically wise, are you Tom Watson, Jeremy Corbyn or Tony Blair

Blair spectre hangs over this election. Doesn't it?

How with gritted teeth, will you all Sanitize politically progressively,

Where is M3? maybe enjoying one Greek yogurt too much. Yes

My prediction: It'll be a hung parliament with the Lib Dems holding the balance of power. To form a government their demand will be to have a second referendum, which Labour will finally agree to - and following a second referendum Brexit will be cancelled.

Every journalist, eh? Quite the knowledge you have there. Have all of them been fired at some point because it was so egregious?

No, it's usually done with anonymous source stories so that nobody knows.
