Riiiiight. I'll believe it when I see it. Kim is probably figuring Trump won't even get through 1 term with the way things are looking.

Our intelligence agencies and international bodies have determined that the DPRK has not halted its nuclear program. This means Kim is attempting to play Trump. Since Trump supporters are just literate, they will eat up Trump's next tweet regarding his triumph on the Korean Peninsula.

Beautiful team play. Kim will help Trump's reelection efforts by making it look like Trump accomplished something at a crucial moment. I have no doubt that the Kim/Xi team want to keep Trump in office because he can be played.

Ossan - Spot on. This is a thinker veiled plow to boost Trump. Hopefully, only Trump's repugnant supporters fall for it.

Kim certainly saw the news in the US, and is just trolling at this point !

"Kim Jong Un of North Korea proclaims 'unwavering faith in President Trump.' Thank you to Chairman Kim. We will get it done together!" Trump wrote.

And of course, Trump fell for it !

*thinly veiled ploy

Trump has been ineffective on North Korea

Actuslly, No. They want and desperately need those sanctions drops and it’s slowly showing, crawl before you can walk.

Yes. The likes of North Korea play a long-term game. Trump is a useful idiot for the short term. Even if Trump had the capacity to think in detail, he’s too busy dealing with the toxic fumes from his swamp to give it any time.

True to form the lefties are panicking - the last thing they want is peace and reconciliation between the US and North Korea while Trump is president!

I'd be more than happy to see reconciliation between NK and SK during any administration, and I'm a lefty.

This is just the right doing once again what they've been doing all along with Trump. "He's doing something special with NK" the say. No he's not, we say, NK is playing the same game as always. Trump ends up in the same position as other presidents. "It's difficult", they say. Yes, we know, that's what we told you, we say. US gets aggressive, NK diverts in a different direction. "This is something new they say".

No, it's not. It's NK playing the game they've always played for years. They've just found a new cat that is willing to chase the lazer pointer.

As with all international deals, trust but verify.

Embarrassment on an international stage can work for some countries to keep promises and when that doesn't work, sanctions.

I'd love this to be true and if it is I'll be happy to give credit where it's due... but really... how can one not be even slightly skeptical?

This is good news for the world, except for the U.S. Democrats, lol.

"Trump welcomed Kim's remarks in a trademark Tweet."

Why hasn't Twitter banned Trump? What are they, wimps or something? lol

"Kim is probably figuring Trump won't even get through 1 term with the way things are looking."

No, he knows Trump will be in office until Jan 2025, plus Trump's decision to delay Pompeo's next visit resulted in this announcement.

"Trump has been ineffective on North Korea"

Give it up, Super.

Alrighty, bass. Wake me when something actually changes.

I think Bass thinks that NK didn't have sanctions on it until Trump came around.
