If he lied, he has to deal with the consequences.

Amazing how Trumpsters delude themselves to keep their heads from exploding - Manafort, the Trump Campaign Chairman, who was in hock to Russian oligarchs, who worked for a Russian-supported Ukrainian politician, who met with Russian operatives in TRUMP TOWER to get dirt on Hillary, who has been convicted on eight felony counts, and who is now under additional charges to include lying to the FBI - which is evidently a test you must pass to be a Trump official.
Now he breached his plea agreement and he'll be facing even more time behind bars.
Only the best, right?
CrazyJoe
Says a lot about what Mueller already knows about Russian interference.
SuperLib
This guy just doesn't know when to stop.

And what about the Democrats (take your pick) that lie on a minute to minute basis. Oh, liberals.....
plasticmonkey
Yes, you are right. If you take all the many millions of Democrats everywhere, certainly they lie more in aggregate than the singular person of Donald Trump. Ergo, Trump is not so bad.
HollisBrown
My pick: Bernie Sanders
Your challenge: Provide a list of all the lies he told 'minute to minute' yesterday.
Thanks very much.
bass4funk
Oh, no, just the ones from the last admin. sorry, had to correct myself.
Who would never win a Presidential election
Who won and who will likely win reelection.
You are welcome

OK, pick any one? How many lawyers does Obama or Hillary have?
We never needed lawyers
(Former Obama official)
Trump is president now and how many lawyers does he have? Imagine how much stress the Trump kids have watching out for Baby daddy. They sure wish their dad was not president. Of course they have to support him, otherwise they will be written out of the will and lose their inheritance, so I understand.
plasticmonkey
That's a whole lotta liberal lies on a minute to minute basis. Oh my, lol, smh.

Ha ha! Manafort's attorneys want him sentenced ASAP as, everyday he stays out of jail, he digs his hole deeper.
Banking on a Trump pardon is a huge gamble. Trump wouldn't do so until after the next election, and if he looses, Manafort may never again see his ostrich skin jacket.

The Republican Party cares more about maintaining the wealth of the US .01% and their fellow global .01% than they do the majority of American citizens. More money for the elite class, the negative externalities of an oil and gas economy for the rest of the population.
Trump is a shill for the US elite. And for gas and oil barons around the world.
That applies to Manafort as well as Trump, members of the Trump family, and others who've done Trump's bidding for him, be they in the US, Russia, Saudi Arabia and elsewhere in MENA, China, wherever.

Heh! Whilst it's no surprise that the entire administration is mired in lies, it's interesting to see who else will continue to promote and support the lies.
It reminds me of the infancy of internet comments sections. There was always the one poster at the start of each topic who would spin the truth and guarantee acres of response. My moderator friend wasn't even sure whether he was a plant or not. Same with a late night phone in show, on the wireless. On an quiet night, members of the production team were asked to phone in with some crank, right wing statement. And boy oh boy, the phones were a hopping after that.
Fake news isn't new but it's moved beyond provocation now. It's become something much more diabolical when the very fabric of truth is in tatters. The Trump administration knows this and plays with it to great effect.
But with Manafort and others who have been caught out, maybe the tide is turning. Maybe, just maybe the proponents of misdirection and mistruths will be held accountable. Here's hoping.

Swamp creature's going down.
Creepy swamp queen Roger Stone is next.

"Mueller"
Has he found any collusion between the Trump campaign and Russian interference yet? He hasn't given up, has he?

Some of these comments are going to look extremely stupid in retrospect when Mueller unleashes hellfire.
Serrano
"Some of these comments are going to look extremely stupid in retrospect when Mueller unleashes hellfire"
That comment is going to look extremely stupid when Mueller goes out with a whimper.
Laguna
We will at some point, but probably not until after Mueller issues his report. He's interviewed many people and uncovered much evidence by this point - but Manafort doesn't know what Mueller knows, so if he lies - even once - trust is gone and the agreement for a reduced sentence dissolved.
The judge who will sentence Manafort has this info and will consider it when sentencing. The severity of the sentence will give a clue as to the severity of the lies.
Three reasons for that: these are notoriously difficult to uncover, most such criminals are not so monumentally stupid as Manafort, and he became enmeshed in Trump's numerous alleged crimes. Get close to Trump and you WILL get burned, even such upright people as Sessions (who stands no chance now of reclaiming his Senate seat). Even Trump at some point will likely rue the day he decided to run for the presidency.
Strangerland
If you believe that after everything he has already accomplished, and with the sealed indictments he’s already filed, you’re kidding yourself. It’s not like he’s going to continue the investigation for months after the final charge and then say ‘oh, we got nothing’.
No, the only questions left are who else, and what bad stuff did they do.
bass4funk
It will and even if Trump gets indicted then what? Hearings, more stupid hearings and then what? He won’t be removed.
Laguna
Thought the Supremes haven't ruled on it, lower courts have ruled that a sitting president cannot be indicted for acts committed while in office. That's good: imagine if any yahoo could sue the president - it' the responsibility of the congress.
Less clear is whether a sitting president can be indicted for crimes committed prior to assuming office. One way or another, Trump's tax returns will come out. Of course, the wheels of justice turn slowly, and Trump's only got two years left. With his finances laid bare, ain't no way he'll be reelected. Rather than be concerned about pardoning Manafort, he'd better be praying that the next (Democratic) president will pardon him. "Long national nightmare over" and "heal the nation" Nixon-Ford kinda stuff (except Nixon's crimes were a pittance compared to what I suspect Trump's been up to, and they were both of the same party).
Strangerland
And then everyone knows for a fact Trump is a criminal, instead of just suspecting.
Your team's job of defending him will be a lot more difficult when you can't rely on the fact that he's not yet a proven criminal.
Strangerland
Mueller is a registered republican. Why wouldn't he want a Republican president in office? That literally makes no sense (according to your guys' rules).

And then everyone knows he’s a criminal, and you guys will be defending a criminal. Also, no matter what happens with any future democratic presidents, any criticism will be met with ‘you guys wanted to keep a criminal in office’. The more we assosciate the world criminal with you guys, the more damage it does to your criminal brand.

If you could prove any of this mueller wouldn’t have let Trump stay as President for 2 years already.

Maybe Mueller feels "no need" to stop the extremely corrupt Donald Trump for which he has mountains of evidence against.
You know, kind of like Trump and Rosenstein. Guilty as hell but no need to do anything about it.

Imagine how much wall we could have built for the $30,000,000 the idiot deranged Democrats have wasted on a witch hunt.

Serrano: "Mueller is an embarrassment to the Marine Corps."
Oh my! A TRUMP supporter claiming someone that ACTUALLY served is an embarrassment to the military? hahaha... that's rich! Trump's too busy massaging his bone spurs with his little hands at even the thought of going to visit the troops in war zones, and when not doing that insulting Generals and gold-star families with his little hands on Twitter. The man is a complete coward, and if you want to talk about embarrassment to the military, Trump's picture is under the definition, bud. And don't grip about money "wasted", especially on a trial that has already yielded indictments (ie. if it's a witch hunt, as you guys so 'originally' like to call it, then it means you actually believe in witches!), when you support Trump and all the money he and his swamp acolytes have spent on themselves, from the nation's coffers.
