The second less obvious reason is to demonstrate the merchandise. US military weapons sales has been souring since Ukraine started spanking Russia all over the battlefield.

Russia is buying drones and missiles from Iran, but their supply is limited. North Korea is the other supplier of weapons like shells.

Kim just misses his buddy Trump and thinks that all this tension might help Trump get reelected, especially if the GOP regains control of the house and senate next week.

Every time he fires off a missile he should publish a picture of his face. That way no one will ever perceive him as a threat.

They are playing tit for tat in words and action. The row seems to be escalating little by little and a war seems to be looming in the horizon. What if other countries enter the stage to help their avowed allies? The end result of that will be the global destruction of economy and trade: the end of the ball game.
