I wonder how the world changes in doing businesses with China after the coronavirus crisis. Xi's "One belt, One road" dream will be reconsidered by European countries.

I wonder how the world changes in doing businesses

Time for people to read and/or re-read Schumacher's 'Small is beautiful'. Time for alternatives to the era of global me(a)ga-corporations uberalles. I'm sure those who've claimed they want the power of the globe's elite establishment lessened will agree. Amirate? Time to elect leaders who aren't completely beholden to the globe's elite establishment. Time to reduce the powers of the fossils running the globe's fossil economy. Locavore-type movements are a start, examples of alternatives.

If the world reacts the same way every flu season, we're really sunk.

Nations employ drastic tactics to fight pandemic

It takes drastic tactics if you intend to fight a pandemic. Because this is a new virus, because they haven't yet created an immunization/cure for it, and no country chose to close their borders to those who might be infected until Feb 2nd, the infection/virus spread quickly. Some people are trying to work together to solve the issues. Others prefer to play politics. Haters gotta hate until someone gets a virus and dies.

Yeah, it sad this needs to be done, but it doesn’t change the fact that still needs to be done. I actually went to a sporting event this past Sunday, and now that future games have been shut down, I’m really glad I did. And hey, all these things look like they only needs to be shut down for like 30 days or so. I mean that’s the impression I’m getting with the sports leagues, as well as with the schools since one of my family members works for the school system

I doubt that will be limited to "European" countries.

One Road, One Mask...
