Never saw any other country pm or president do this. She is the cheese.

Wonderful to see so many band together in love, against hate.

with speakers calling for the legacy of the tragedy to be a kinder, more tolerant New Zealand...

"Because we are not immune to the viruses of hate, of fear, of other. We never have been"

Ms Ardern is absolutely right, no-one's immune to the viruses of hate and fear. But I also think New Zealand is an example of as kind and tolerant a country as it's possible for any country to be these days. There will always be some people, like the Christchurch killer, who are just immune to reason and decency, and the horrible truth is that there's only just so much a country can do to identify and stop them.

But when things like this happen, it's good to have a PM like Jacinda Ardern.

The shooter said in his manifesto that he wants the government to ban guns. That’s why they don’t want anyone to read it, because they’re giving the terrorist what he wants.

Guns are not being banned. Certain types of guns are.

He also said Trump was great as a symbol of white identity but was hopeless as a leader and policymaker. His "manifesto" was all over the place. Anybody who reads too much into it will be as well.

"Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said:  "There are the laws we need now, to ensure that social media is not weaponised,"

What a hypocrite of a PM we have. This PM along with his Minster for  White Supremacy (Deadhead Dutton) has done nothing but promote racism, hatred and division for the past 5 years. This PM is the same man that has called asylum seekers murderers, rapists, paedophiles and criminals. This same PM is the same man that refuses to give adequate and needed medical treatment to asylum seeking children he has imprisoned in Nauru and Manus Island. This is the same man who blames all crimes in the State of Victoria on "Black gangs". This man is a racist, white supremacist bigot.

The NZ PM has handled this very well, good to see and I am sure the nation is behind her as well.
