Trump is far and away the most dishonest US politician in recent history. He’s used ‘big lies’, ‘fake news’, ‘alt facts’ and ‘developing facts’ to manipulate his followers and his fellow Republican politicians. Sadly lies of all sorts are a part of US politics these days.

But if Kavanaugh is found to have lied, even stretched the truth a little, he should be withdrawn from consideration.

Supreme Court Justices must be seen as completely honest people.

If the Republicans continue to try to ram his approval and if he is appointed, the Supreme Court will be forever tainted.

8 ( +14 / -6 )

"We're staying out of the way" and letting the FBI do their job," White House press secretary Sarah Sanders said in an interview with "Fox News Sunday."

Which probably means the opposite. Republicans can't tell the truth because it would mean quitting or losing their job

How many more self-inflicted wounds can the GOP create before the midterms? Inquiring minds want to know.

5 ( +10 / -5 )

Limiting the investigation to a particilar set of allegations I can accept, but limiting the evidence the FBI is allowed to look at fatally undermines the “investigate” part. Clearly this is meant to cripple the investigation from the outset.

7 ( +11 / -4 )

Agreed, the insane Republican party have emptied both barrels into their collective feet and are currently reloading for more of the same.

A weeks investigation is laughable. Especially for a lifetime appointment.

How many more self-inflicted wounds can the GOP create before the midterms? Inquiring minds want to know.

Who could have possibly known that the party of people with privilege being outraged that not enough people listen to them would put their foot in their mouth the moment they forced people to listen to them?

1 ( +6 / -5 )

A weeks investigation is laughable. Especially for a lifetime appointment.

Wait, the left have been moaning since July that there should be an investigation conducted by the FBI, they've been pushing and pushing for it and now that they have one, they still aren't happy (surprised, No. Predictable, of course) the left got what they wanted, the left praise the FBI.....now and recently and have full faith in them, then they should be happy with the expertise, knowledge and conduct of the men and women of the agency. So the left shouldn't complain (again) they should be happy they finally got what they wanted and if nothing comes up for the 7th time, we can put this all to rest and continue the voting and confirmation of the judge.

-6 ( +6 / -12 )

No requirement for any further investigation at all. So be happy with what you got. We all know that if it was a month, you would want six months and if a year you would want 2 years.

So interview everyone and it’s done. Doesn’t take more than a week to interview people, unless they are stalling.

-7 ( +6 / -13 )

This whole thing is a weird sham. On both sides.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

The FBI will not be coming to any conclusions about what they are told as it relates to Kavanaugh. Different story if they can catch someone they interview or an accuser lying. Like for example being “afraid to fly” yet flying all over the world.

-5 ( +5 / -10 )

Sad.., but the political process at the Federal level which should be rational and pragmatic with the entire nation in mind in relation to the rest of the world as well as between the states, now have become "personal" interests and agendas by individuals as well as cliques and special interest groups that tout representing a political organization or some "ideals" supposedly intended to and will benefit the entire nation. It is obvious that the entire process has become not so much a debate but an antagonistic "power play" using rhetoric and words and the entire national structure and system to maneuver and get the upper hand, while obviously ignoring the "need" and the "responsibility" as well as the "obligation" to "represent" and "govern" on behalf of the "entire" nation and not their own interests and agenda.

That said, it also is an indication of the level and character of the population of people that "elected" such officials into office.

Meanwhile, the rest of the world is trying their best to survive or to enjoy life. Hopefully they too realize that what is happening in the political world definitely "will affect" their lives and the future of the country as well as the world, since the USA still plays a major part in world politics, militarily and economically.

The white house says

We're staying out of the way" and letting the FBI do their job

> White House denied it was trying to control the probe

Yet their actions says otherwise

White House was working with Republicans to narrow the scope of an FBI investigation

> White House had defined the parameters of the probe for the FBI

> White House made clear there would be limits to the probe.

> clear conflict of interest" for White House officials involved in Kavanaugh’s confirmation process to interfere with the FBI’s investigation.

Why is Trump trying to rush the FBI investigation ?

A week does not seem long enough for a proper investigation.

Is it because Trump is afraid after the upcoming elections that he will lose seats and power.

If his postion is strong (his policies are working and everything is better in the USA now) as he has been saying , then why not wait till after the elections and give the FBI proper amount of time ?

Or is there problems waiting to surface from his policies that will weaken his hold on goverment ?

2 ( +6 / -4 )

The Left will learn later this week that nothing is "deleted" on the internet. Now that they got what they were begging for, the full force of the FBI will be crashing down on them. Given the all the recent scandals the organization has endured, Wrey and Rosenstien will be looking to repair the bureau's image with the American people. This will provide them ample opportunity to achieve just that.

Judge Kav's life is an open book. He's passed six previous FBI background checks going back to his high school years and before.

And what about the Left's new Flavor of the Moment? She just popped up on our national radar barely a month ago. Now, preciously thought scrubbed postings on various social media sites related to Dr. Ford will be resurrected and reviewed. Her life, pre-Senate hearing, is currently being dissected by federal authorities. And the discoveries will not be pretty.

It won't be long before the Left starts calling for an immediate end of the FBI probe they were clamoring for just last week.

-3 ( +6 / -9 )

There will not be another delay. Expect a vote on Friday or early next week. If he goes down to defeat, Amy Coney Barrett will be nominated and pushed through in record time. Still plenty of time to seat a justice to overturn Roe vs Wade.

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

Trump is far and away the most dishonest US politician in recent history.

LOL! So Bush lying about WMD's in Iraq, Clinton denying he had sex with Monica Lewinski and Obama selling American nukes to Iran, were not act of dishonesty? Trump doesn't even come close to those 3!

-3 ( +5 / -8 )

Wait, the left have been moaning since July that there should be an investigation conducted by the FBI, they've been pushing and pushing for it and now that they have one, they still aren't happy (surprised, No. Predictable, of course) the left got what they wanted

Completely accurate. Libtarss were demanding an FBI investigation into Kavanaugh long before any allegations were leveled against our boy Brett.

The FBI will not be coming to any conclusions about what they are told as it relates to Kavanaugh. Different story if they can catch someone they interview or an accuser lying. Like for example being “afraid to fly” yet flying all over the world.

Too right. People that have fears always give into those fears. Just like Trump eats fast food constantly because he's afraid of being poisoned. Exactly like Trump never shaking hands because he's a germaphobe.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

A third accuser, Julie Swetnick, was not on the initial list of witnesses to be interviewed.

She should be. I wonder why she has been excluded?

The Left will learn later this week that nothing is "deleted" on the internet. Now that they got what they were begging for, the full force of the FBI will be crashing down on them

Who exactly are you trying to intimidate with this statement?

All perpetrators of rape and sexual assault deserve investigating - the victims are not the wrong-doers here.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

Like for example being “afraid to fly” yet flying all over the world.

This non-argument is spectacularly weak. I loathe and fear flying to the point of losing appetite, sleep and often getting sick. But I still do it because its a means of getting from point A to point B sharpish without (too much) delay.

Some fears you can confront. Even if you can't entirely get over them.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

@Belrick

Add Bush 41's "Read my lips, no new taxes" to your list.

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

@belric  Trump doesn't even come close to those 3!

Here's a source alleging Trump's 'false claims'.

In his first year as President, Trump made 2,140 false claims, according to the Post. In just the last six months, he has nearly doubled that total to 4,229. In June and July, he averaged sixteen false claims a day. https://www.newyorker.com/news/letter-from-trumps-washington/trumps-escalating-war-on-the-truth-is-on-purpose

I'll gladly read any source you provide claiming Bush, Clinton etal lied more than Trump. I'll read the usual sources Trump backers cite, e.g. Fox 'news', RT, Sputnik, infowars, Breitbart, impeachobama.org, etc.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Bass

Wait, the left have been moaning since July that there should be an investigation conducted by the FBI, they've been pushing and pushing for it and now that they have one,

Limited in scope... Restrictions dictated by the WH..... What's got the Repubs so worried?

So the left shouldn't complain (again) they should be happy they finally got what they wanted and if nothing comes up for the 7th time, we can put this all to rest and continue the voting and confirmation of the judge.

Once again, misleading. This is not the seventh investigation into sexual assault allegations.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Ford is clearly a Marxist operative trying to derail Trump’s MAGA project. Bart O’Kavanaugh is clearly an honorable and nonpartisan patriot for justice. I believe his definitions of boofing, golden triangle, and Renate Alumnius. I also believe he was of legal drinking age when in high school, whatever the deep state of Maryland may claim as “fact”. I also believe that Bart had a reputation for puking because of a sensitivity to spicy food. Why would this patriotic American man of God lie?

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Bass: we can put this all to rest and continue the voting and confirmation of the judge.

We need to know the political affiliation of the FBI agents conducting the investigation. We can’t take the risk they are all Republicans because if they are we can assume the investigation is corrupt.

Wolfpack: Still plenty of time to seat a justice to overturn Roe vs Wade.

LOL You support Roe v Wade. It’s not going anywhere.

Kavanaugh is important to Trump because he thanks Kavanaugh will help provide cover for his legal troubles. Kicking his butt to the curb would be pretty sweet, and so far so good. I especially enjoy the part where you are being outsmarted by an elite liberal woman.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Everything else side, this guy has publicly sworn revenge against the Democratic Party, which represents tens of millions of American voters and entire states. When I saw his face contort in rage and hatred as he was forced to answer the questions of Democratic Senators (especially the female ones) I thought, "that's how he feels about me, a Democratic voter".

He can't be trusted to be an impartial arbiter, and that makes him unfit.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

So a well known sexual predator has a large amount of control on how the FBI is to investigate another sexual predator.

That's kind of like asking a fox to watch over the hen house, isn't it?

5 ( +7 / -2 )

We need to know the political affiliation of the FBI agents conducting the investigation. We can’t take the risk they are all Republicans because if they are we can assume the investigation is corrupt.

Currently, it's a Republican government, so I don't think the FBI can be trusted at all. The FBI is entirely biased towards the left, and hates the left. It is logically impossible that the Republican FBI could investigate Kavanaugh in a non-biased manner. The investigation is corrupt. This is fact.

Sign: KAVA-NOPE

More like DEMS-NOPE in the mid-terms.

"Trump is far and away the most dishonest US politician in recent history."

Wrong. He's far and away the best president in decades if not in history.

And it's the Democrats who are dishonest and despicable.

To all Americans who read this: Not as a Republican or Democrat, but as an AMERICAN who cares for AMERICA. You need to get out and vote the Dems down in November.

A vote for any Dem is a vote for the end of your rights, freedoms and privacy.

The Dems want to control everything We The People do, think, say, believe, and live. DON'T LET THEM WIN!

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

Burning BushToday  09:26 am JST

The whole thing is a spectacle, a circus showcasing to the world how degenerate and divided the US has become.

The US is hardly divided. Poll after poll show the public believed Ford and agrees Kavanaugh has no place on the SCOTUS. Just like how poll after poll shows Americans are nearly united in their disapproval of Trump and their desire to see him voted out of office or impeached.

The US government is divided, yes, but not the American people. And the only reason our government is divided is that the Republicans are getting support from a Russian propaganda and money-laundering campaign intended to divide our country.

In the end though, I don't think it will work, because Putin didn't just bet on the wrong horse, he bet on literally the dumbest horse in the stable, the one that has syphilis and doesn't know not to stare at the sun during an eclipse.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

To all Americans who read this: Not as a Republican or Democrat, but as an AMERICAN who cares for AMERICA. You need to get out and vote the Dems down in November.

And who cares for the victims of rape and assault?

You're asking Americans to perpetuate a government that supports and enables sex pests, molesters and rapists.

A President who assaults women, lies, cosies up to dictators, welches on deals, alienates allies and thinks sexual predators and white nationalists are fine people.

Get away with ye, you're taking the michael.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Black: I couldn't agree more with your disparagement of Ford. Us conservatives that support Trump know how repugnant lying is, which is why we support Trump; he's the most honest president we've ever had.

As for Ford's selective fears, we conservatives know what a crock that is. People don't deal with their fears, they always give into them. Just look how us conservatives have into our fears and voted for Trump because he promised to get rid of scary things. For instance, all those undocumented immigrants that aren't committing as much crime as citizens.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

@blklabel t was a LIE. Which according to James Comey calls all of a persons testimony into question once found.

Speaking of Comey, I like this quote:

FBI investigators "know that little lies point to bigger lies," Comey wrote. "They know that obvious lies by the nominee about the meaning of words in a yearbook are a flashing signal to dig deeper."

https://www.businessinsider.com/james-comey-brett-kavanaugh-fbi-probe-2018-9

I agree with what I think @blacklabel is saying, which is LIES are terrible, especially when it's a nominee for the Supreme Court who's alleged to have lied.

But given Trump's the MOST DISHONEST POLITICIAN in modern US history, I'd expect Trump to support other dishonest people.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

"Democratic U.S. senators"

The Democrats are like a group of monkeys trying to light a stick of dynamite. They will never know what happened if they get it lit.

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

And it's the Democrats who are dishonest and despicable

Too right. Trump doesn't have a documented history of lying since the 70s, that's just liberal MSN BS. Just like it wasn't the republicans that refused to work with Obama. We tried to meet him halfway at every turn. For example with Garland. We tried to collaborate there, but Obama refused to listen. Sickening.

To all Americans who read this: Not as a Republican or Democrat, but as an AMERICAN who cares for AMERICA. You need to get out and vote the Dems down in November.

Amen. Whenever we conservatives talk, it's as Americans, unlike those disgusting libs that want equality. Nothing screams lack of partisanship more than claiming to not be partisan whilst trashing the other side.

A vote for any Dem is a vote for the end of your rights, freedoms and privacy.

No kidding! Voting for a lib that wants to let women control their bodies and to keep religion out of schools is definitely a vote to limit your rights (which is where your freedoms and privacy come from). It's so obvious.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

The Democrats are like a group of monkeys trying to light a stick of dynamite. They will never know what happened if they get it lit.

Another fact. Keep em coming! It's completely different than us conservatives voting a guy into the presidency that obviously doesn't know what he's doing. Just look at all the promises Trump has kept and you'll know he's on point. We've got the wall and Mexico is paying and Obamacare has been replaced by something far better.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Wrong. He's far and away the best president in decades if not in history.

Tok true. It's not like Trump is clnstantly at one of his own properties golfing, watching TV, or engaging in petty name calling on Twitter. He's too busy traveling to meet other world leaders to solve major world issues to disparage victims of sexual assault or blatantly lie on Twitter.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Question put to Sen. Feinstein at the hearing: Did you leak the document?

Feinstein: What? No, I didn't leak it. Uh, wait one minute.... ( to her staff ) Did we leak it?... No, we didn't leak it.

When Feinstein got the letter from Ford, she had a responsibility to share it with the FBI ( No, that's not the same as leaking it to Democrat politicians ) as they were doing an additional background check on Kavanaugh.

Question for liberals: What is yet another FBI investigation going to uncover that the first six didn't? There's nothing to go on.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

When Feinstein got the letter from Ford, she had a responsibility to share it with the FBI ( No, that's not the same as leaking it to Democrat politicians ) as they were doing an additional background check on Kavanaugh.

No kidding! Feinstein didn't have a duty to keep her constituent's confidential letter confidential until the constituent authorized the release. That's preposterous.

Question for liberals: What is yet another FBI investigation going to uncover that the first six didn't? There's nothing to go on.

Yeah, libs! What is the FBI going to find by investigating a very specific issue that it didn't went it was doing a general background check?!!!!

1 ( +3 / -2 )

I think the leftists have overestimated the the strength of their cards and may have overplayed their hand. Maybe the biggest miscalculation they have made is in reading the American public's sense of fair play and decency. The leftists like to think that they are the voice of America and only truly evil people disagree with them. But it might come as a surprise to some of you that there are a lot of Americans who don't agree with the rush to the left. And after the leftists let America see just how despicable they can be, there are a lot of Americans who no longer want to be associated an organization that is as sleazy as the Dems have become.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

Serrano

"Trump is far and away the most dishonest US politician in recent history."

Wrong. He's far and away the best president in decades if not in history.

The best president in US history? I think Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Teddy Roosevelt, Thomas Jefferson, John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan would like to have a word with you Serrano

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Maybe the biggest miscalculation they have made is in reading the American public's sense of fair play and decency. The leftists like to think that they are the voice of America and only truly evil people disagree with them.

Truisms. Us rightists know that the American sense of fair play and decent supports us when we do things like obstruct the progress of a sitting president or refuse to hold hearings on a nominee.

We rightists know we are the voice of America because our guy won the electoral college and the support for us is greater according to polls that we don't trust.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

She should be. I wonder why she has been excluded?

Because 1. She has a history of lying.

Once the creepy porn lawyer got involved everyone, even some prominent liberals sighed.

All alleged perpetrators of rape and sexual assault deserve investigating - the victims are not the wrong-doers here.

And we have to extend the same rights especially to the accused because how is an accused person supposed to defend a negative or unsubstantiated accusations?

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

Because 1. She has a history of lying.

Does she? But you've said here that everyone lies - your President included. Is it only rich GOP boys who have the right to lie with impunity?

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Limited in scope... Restrictions dictated by the WH..... What's got the Repubs so worried?

The opposite of what’s got the left worried should Kavanaugh get on the bench.

And who cares for the victims of rape and assault?

Not the Democrats that’s for sure, if they did, they wouldn’t have lied to her and used Ford the way they did.

You're asking Americans to perpetuate a government that supports and enables sex pests, molesters and rapists.

No, but at the same time, if the left sees an opportunity to align themselves with any victim that can help their causes, they will use and squeeze like a tube of toothpaste.

After this is over, no one will think about this woman anymore, just another collateral damage for the left.

A President who assaults women, lies, cosies up to dictators, welches on deals, alienates allies and thinks sexual predators and white nationalists are fine people.

And we have sadly a Democrat party that cares less about the rule of law, that also costed up to radical regimes, goes behind the back of the current President to save a flawed deal and has its shares of sexual predators and as a whole promotes and pushes the race issue and makes racist policies that has divided our country for over 65 years.

Yup.

No and especially richer Democrats have No right whatsoever to lecwith impunity.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

And we have to extend the same rights especially to the accused because how is an accused person supposed to defend a negative or unsubstantiated accusations?

Exactly. It's not like Bourbon Brett could have asked for an investigation to clear his name; that's not what innocent people do. You libs and your insistence on professionals trying to get to the facts.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Not the Democrats that’s for sure, if they did, they wouldn’t have lied to her and used Ford the way they did

BINGO! We conservatives love Ford so much, we forced her to get security.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

And we have sadly a Democrat party that cares less about the rule of law, that also costed up to radical regimes, goes behind the back of the current President to save a flawed deal and has its shares of sexual predators and as a whole promotes and pushes the race issue and makes racist policies that has divided our country for over 65 years

The poetry of truth. The rule of law is so important to us conservatives that we're willing to rip children from their parents.

Dont even get me going on the Dems cozying up to radical regimes. They need to be more like us, tough and not afraid to punch back. It's not like Trump's been exchanging love letters with Kim or fawning over Putin, he's been getting results; just ask the intelligence agencies.

Assault and violations happens to people from all walks of life. It knows little bias or partisanship, except that it seeks to humiliate, control and take dignity away from its victims.

Toasted HereticToday  06:51 pm JST

Just how many times must it be said that this is beyond politics?

It doesn't matter how many times you point it out, Kavanaugh's fan club won't ever acknowledge that the partisanship on this issue comes exclusively from them. Accepting that the majority of Americans think Kavanaugh is unfit for the bench because of his obvious habit of lying (and of lashing out in partisan anger when challenged, threatening to use his power against Democrats, etc) and not just because people hate Republicans would mean acknowledging that the opposition to Kavanaugh is based on his moral failings, not his political orientation. And once you acknowledge Kavanaugh has such obvious moral failings, the next question that leads to is asking why Republicans wanted to cram him down Americans' throats to begin with.

And asking that question leads to a whole can of worms that the Kavanaugh fanbois just can't work up the courage to face just yet.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Avenatti is more than a low-life, he's a pervert looking for fame and fortune, and, assuming he actually runs for president, power.

Preach on! It's not a central tenet of the practice of law that the lawyer in no way endorses the client's employment, lifestyle, or actions. We conservatives know that that is a crock!

> 6 FBI background checks have obviously missed the gang-raping, child-molesting, woman-drugging, train-running period of Blackout Bourbon Brett's life, but I have a good feeling about #7.

Are these new allegations against Judge Kavanaugh?

Yeah, it's not like a more focused investigation could turn up more evidence. Listen up, libs, multiple investigations don't work, we tried it with that Benghazi thing. It really boils down to putting the best candidate on the bench.

We want a justice that punches back instead of answering questions. We want someone that interrupts authorities, it's a sign of honesty.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

please continue to push Avenatti as having any kind of credibility. Just makes people who have any kind of logic or reasoning ability to #walkaway

Bass is now comparing Ford to a tube of toothpaste.

Please don't feign compassion for Ford, or credulity to her testimony. You've made it clear that her presence is illegitimate. You don't believe her.

Meanwhile, I don't believe Kavanaugh. I hope he has plenty of sleepless nights. He lied under oath in his quest to become Supreme Court Justice.

Just look at the facts.

What a crock! Since when have polls been accurate? Except when they favor my position, obviously. Where's the proof Kavanaugh has lashed out in partisan anger? You have audio and video?

1 ( +2 / -1 )

He might want to take some anger management classes.

3 ( +4 / -1 )

please continue to push Avenatti as having any kind of credibility. Just makes people who have any kind of logic or reasoning ability to #walkaway

Totally true! Avenatti isn't like Trump or "Blackout Bourbon Brett," in Serrano's words, which means a crystal clean record if not lying. Yeah, just walk away from people having representation in the courts. Us conservatives know lawyers aren't necessary, which is why we love Rudy.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

He might want to take some anger management classes.

The libs need anger management, if anyone does. Letting KavanaughtGonnaLetaDrinkPassMeby interrupt them with anti-dem tirades. Ridiculous!

0 ( +2 / -2 )

He's not speaking for himself, he's repeating what he's been fed. It's the exact phrase Fox uses to describe Avenatti. They're freaked out that Avenatti took a supposedly cast-iron non-disclosure agreement and did such a great job of making Cohen and Trump's denials look increasingly farcical, took down Cohen's career entirely, and still has Trump so rattled that Stormy Daniels is the one person he won't publicly denigrate.

Where your proof? This is just your opinion! It's not like Daniels' case is proceeding or as if Cohen is cooperating with Mueller.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Toasted: You're asking Americans to perpetuate a government that supports and enables sex pests, molesters and rapists.

No one is buying the Lefts’ holier than thou protestations. The Dems on the Judiciary Committee to this day continue to protect Bill Clinton and his chief enabler Hillary. In fact they nominated the enabler in chief for president just two years ago. How partisan and power hungry do you have to be to flip 180 degrees on an issue so existential to the ideals of the party? Republicans are just going by the rules the Dems established when Clinton was president. Now they are saying forget about.

This last ditch effort to thwart Kavanaugh’s elevation to the Supreme Court has been an obvious political ploy from the beginning. Ford and the Democrats gambit has politicized and weaponized sexual assault needlessly making it a political wedge issue. You now have Leftists making the case that support for due process is supporting rape. It’s insane and dangerous. McCarthyism lives in the Democrat party.

Bass is now comparing Ford to a tube of toothpaste.

That’s the best analogy to sum up how the left have treated her.

Please don't feign compassion for Ford, or credulity to her testimony. You've made it clear that her presence is illegitimate. You don't believe her.

Well, with all due respect you don’t speak for me, I have compassion for both, but I do have more compassion for Kavanaugh just by the simple fact idiots like Hirono and Booker and Harris are milking this for whatever and however they can.

Meanwhile, I don't believe Kavanaugh. I hope he has plenty of sleepless nights. He lied under oath in his quest to become Supreme Court Justice.

Yeah, uh-huh. ROFL!

Just look at the facts.

What liberal facts, naw....I’ll pass

The whole thing is a spectacle, a circus showcasing to the world how degenerate and divided the US has become. leading them is the head clown in the white house flip flopping around in those big shoes, fake orange mask and hair.

The best president in US history? I think Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, Teddy Roosevelt, Thomas Jefferson, John F. Kennedy and Ronald Reagan would like to have a word with you Serrano

Sorry, but establishing a nation, uniting it after civil war, leading it through a bloody world war and leading the USA to victory in the Cold War are no match for Trump's achievements, such as banning Muslims, starting trade wars and sacking his closest appointments. These are real achievements.

Serrano - 4 successive posts with YouTube videos attached that no one is going to look at. They will all be cranks and loons.

I think the thing to do here would be to quote or paraphrase the relevant points from the videos and copy/paste the links as citations, but perhaps that's too much effort or there's some ulterior motive. Could it be significant for some reason if these videos get lots of views?

Ah, the "alternative facts" argument.

Here's a real fact:

https://www.businessinsider.com/maryland-drinking-age-could-brett-kavanaugh-legally-drink-high-school-2018-9

Kavanaugh drank while underage, and lied about it under oath. Why couldn't he just admit that he illegally drank in his high school years?

You may find this trivial, at which point you can resort to your "so what" argument.

I dont find it trivial, I worked as security at bars and pubs in my younger years the amount of drunks, fights problems that arise from alcohol abuse is astounding. makes me more pleased that I never took up drinking at a younger age. No Im not muslim and you don't need alcohol to have a good time as many seem to think. Stress relief can be done without drug assistance. Not to mention the amount of money ive saved over the years.

Anyway conflict of interest might bar White House to interfere in the issue, If done November elections a big question mark, more so of 2019 nomination and elections .. so everything is fluid.. let us see what moves where? fact is Republican think FBI would clear K if done FBI credibility in problem, if K is on Judiciary , Credibility of USSC is going to be a problem, public will doubt everything of government. Let us look which side what moves,,, any way things are not going to be that easy anymore of Senate judiciary committee, so too for the president! If hopes were horses...

I'll gladly read any source you provide claiming Bush, Clinton etal lied more than Trump.

Then do so with a credible source of information and not some toilet worthy biased rag like The NewYorker!

The entire world knows how Bush lied about WMD's and taxes ; Clinton's blatant lies about sexual misconduct and Obama's dealings with Iran.

You can quote as many sources as you like mate, but you ain't going to make them out to be angelic compared to Trump or not!

We definitely know about the WMDs. Taxes?

Clinton's blatant lies about sexual misconduct

And we know about this - it's not the sexual misconduct that got him in trouble, it was the lie around it that got him in trouble.

Obama's dealings with Iran.

Those weren't lies. Or do you think that the US somehow got those other nations that were part of the agreement to lie? It wasn't a 2-way agreement between the US and Iran.
