It sounds like North Korea is out of food again

The South Korean politics is the worst in developed countries, nearly all the South Korean presidents did not having a good ending! Assassinated, jailed, suicide and Disgraced! There is always an all out struggle between the ruling and opposition parties! Now the opposition were blasing the Moon administration being too soft on North Korea, so better stay away from them and let them infighting! "Miss Kim" is a kind lady with good will to end the hostileity but the corruption level of Seoul's politics is beyond your will! Tell your brother, Moon is nothing better than previous S.K. presidents!

Translation: If you stop training to defend yourselves from our offensive war plans, don't say a word about our missile and nuclear development, give us food and don't ask to be paid for the building we blew up, yeah, we can chat.

The appropriate response should be "Thanks, no thanks." Stop your nuclear and missile development. Stop your cyber terrorism and oh yeah, you owe us several million for the building that we built and you blew up.

THEN we can chat...

Once again, in terms of ending the U.S. encouraged hostility toward Bukhan, the restoration of Korean unity, and the denuclearization of the peninsula: Bukhan 1 : Hanguk and the U.S. 0.

And with a woman leading the charge, it just might get done. But American and Japanese and Hanguk propagandists will lose their favorite bogieman so the resistance will be significant when the soft notes of sincerity and Peace begin to drown out the lies and drums of War as we have seen so many times in the past. We'll have to wait and see what kind of 'crisis' we invent or actually perpetrate to try to fool everyone and derail Bukhan's overtures.

"The Big Stick" has been America's 'foreign policy' for over five generations and always requires a 'bogieman' and almost always a small, essentially defenseless country that, somehow, is a deadly threat to the whole World. And nothing is a greater threat to America than Peace...

Exactly right GdTokyo. Is this a joke from NK? Stop your hostile policy??? What are they talking about? Have they been watching too many Rambo movies? Or maybe they can't handle Kpop. Watch out NK - we have BTS locked and loaded, and they are coming for you! I love NK diplomacy. They either have a very strange sense of humor or they are just very weird and paranoid. Probably the latter. Scary like the pic.

The Addams Family characters were weird but for the most part good natured and loveable. Not so much the case with her. She's more of a female Freddy Krueger. Whenever you see her image in your mind you hear a chain saw firing up in the background.

Every time I see her picture I think, That is one women you don't want mad at you

You must not be married yet, lol. From experience, your wife is the one woman you don't want mad at you. Trust me on this.

As classic a "good cop/bad cop" movie as there ever has been in theatrical history.

Set your time machine back a century or so. Back to a time in the infancy of cinema, when crime dramas were very popular and very cheap to produce. You know the gendra: "I-Was-A-Teenage-Hitman," kind of celluloid film from the 1920s and 30s, that your great-grandparents used to see in theaters for small coins.

Almost all of these has a good cop/bad cop scene, featuring a hard-bitten detective acting like a raving lunatic on steroids, and a good cop, both working together to get some poor confused sleep-deprived soul to confess. ("If you don't work with nice-little me, I'll turn you over to my raving lunatic friend over there, chewing on the table and chairs").

Fast forward to today.

You still see it sometimes at business negotiations; It can work, if your nice & charming client wants to be there to watch, but easily freaks out because he or she has never been in a closed room with a raving lunatic before (it works once though; up to the moment the nice & charming client catches on to their stupid acting job).

It is seen in modern times from governments, too. Foreign and defense ministers and military generals are particularly good bad cops: the role isn't a huge stretch from their real-life personas, and they really know how to spray froth and foam from the mouth on command. And guess who is playing the voice of reason this time? Taa daa! Now appearing for the Magic Hermit Kingdom! She will get a star on the dressing room door for this little performance.

It might also work a little bit, too, in upcoming public opinion polls around the immediate time zone, if they can get enough of their heavily-guarded and caffeine-soaked social media "influencers" to parrot the Party line (let's all write in unison,"OMG, what a raving lunatics! We better do what they say, or we are all doomed!").  Throw a rocket or two into the sea (isn't there enough junk in our oceans already!), and get a celebrity or two to step up to the mic, and they actually might get opinion polls to move a tick or two; that is, if enough people actually freak out over their most current tantrum.

Hey. NK Party Animals! Instead of relying on tired old cinema to inspire your foreign policy, perhaps you can . . . scary moment here . . . actually sit down with the world without pre-conditions, and say with some sanity and lucidity what it is you want, and want you are willing to give up in exchange. The North Korean people deserve this; they certainly don't deserve watching more third rate performances from leaders trying to reenact tired third rate old movies.

Nobody want to invade, North Korea, North Kore water unnecessary resources on weapon, when these resources could be use to better the people of NK

@geronimo2006

What are they talking about?

The ROK is now a military superpower able to reach Pyongyang in 19 hours from the start of a war, and Kim Jong Un believes he must have nukes to deter the ROK invasion.

she's an Asian Morticia!

Oh, come now.

You're right!

The Addams Family characters were weird but for the most part good natured and loveable. Not so much the case with her. She's more of a female Freddy Krueger. Whenever you see her image in your mind you hear a chain saw firing up in the background.

I stand corrected!

Kim Yo Jong makes logical sense, and is a natural leader with the political heritage combined with the maternal instincts to peacefully unite the Korea's and begin a new era as a good neighbor to all countries in Asia.

Plus, she is strong enough to thwart the Chinese in their expansionist drive towards world domination.

We need this woman on our side!

A reminder on how we arrived here . . . again.

North Korea is a nation of around 25.77 million (last number available).

North Korean had their GDP from Agriculture decrease to 6876.40 KPW Billion in CY 2020 (from 7441.20 KPW Billion in 2019; yes in one year!). North Korea is dependent on others for crop imports, since a mere 20% of it is arable land.

Declines were documented in all other GDP producing economic sectors in CY 2020.

North Korea's economy shrank by 4.5 percent in FY 2020 (as reported last July), suffering its biggest contraction in almost 25 years; in fact since massive death by starvation period during The Arduous March from 1994 to 1998.

This past April, Kim Jong un, speaking at a ruling Workers’ Party of Korea conference, spoke of the current dire economic situation, and called on the Party Faithful to “wage another more difficult ‘Arduous March.’”

Ever notice how history repeats tself?

How about we don't judge people on their outward appearance?

There's plenty to hate about her words and actions.
