Hope they keep doing this for all of Trump's rallies. And then they should be commended for making an effort to prevent the further spread of COVID19.

Too good, I can’t stop chuckling about this. Well played! trump’s walk off the chopper was priceless, a broken man.

The outdoor stage for 40,000 (actual attendance 25) was being dismantled while the 30% capacity indoor disaster was just beginning. I love seeing a narcissist’s bubble burst.

12 ( +21 / -9 )

lucky it wasn't Russia, otherwise people might be squawking about external interference in an election campaign..... LOL

7 ( +10 / -3 )

This really puts Trump and his supporters in a bind.

They can agree and say these groups influenced the totals, but then they are also admitting they got played...

They can say this story is false, but then have to admit a a bunch of Trump supporters stiffed him and didn't show up...

They can't spin their way out of this fiasco...

7 ( +13 / -6 )

They can agree and say these groups influenced the totals, but then they are also admitting they got played...

Of course they got played, Even Lewandowski said that, but you learn from that and you just don’t ever make that kind of stupid mistake again.

They can say this story is false, but then have to admit a a bunch of Trump supporters stiffed him and didn't show up...

Well that’s not true, because we have 6.7 million viewers they did show up, but a lot of people are still a little bit uneasy when it comes to this virus and understandably so.

-6 ( +8 / -14 )

and now foreign interference in US elections..........perfectly fine and to be celebrated!

But thats ok 8 million watched it on TV on a Saturday night. plus millions more online.

-4 ( +10 / -14 )

And though some political analysts cast the viral effort to rain on Trump's parade as just a prank, a number of commentators including Seiji said it amounts to much more.

Stop referring to the Tik-Tok users who requested tickets as engaging in a “prank”. It was activism meant to render their micro-targeting data as junk. It was probably the most effective anti-trump action so far this election cycle not produced by the campaign itself.

Remember Cambridge Analytica? Remember the hand off of polling data to Russian intelligence? Valid data was critical to extracting the 77,000 extra votes in key locations trump needed to win in 2016.

We should all follow the lead of these young people. Create a bunch of fake email accounts; create a bunch of Google voice phone numbers. Sign up for every trump event possible and be sure to target places his campaign identifies as “battlegrounds”.

Ruin their data mining operation and turn the data sets to junk!

otherwise known as "interfering in an election".

Stop referring to the Tik-Tok users who requested tickets as engaging in a “prank”. It was activism meant to render their micro-targeting data as junk.

That can go both ways politically, be careful what you wish for.

It was probably the most effective anti-trump action so far this election cycle not produced by the campaign itself.

They get to have one.

Remember Cambridge Analytica? Remember the hand off of polling data to Russian intelligence? Valid data was critical to extracting the 77,000 extra votes in key locations trump needed to win in 2016.

Yeah, yeah, Mueller debunked that, so did most of the FBI, now the liberal media...pundits, people that opine at prime time believe in their little minds something different and think they know more than the Feds? Well, Don Lémon does...

We should all follow the lead of these young people. Create a bunch of fake email accounts; create a bunch of Google voice phone numbers. Sign up for every trump event possible and be sure to target places his campaign identifies as “battlegrounds”.

And conservatives should then launch a massive counter measure to punt it, God knows they have the cash.

Ruin their data mining operation and turn the data sets to junk.

Either way, Dems lose, McConnell opinionated close to 300 conservatives judges to the bench So which ever way this election will turn out, if Democrats are in power is it gonna be blocked every corner and every turn.

-5 ( +7 / -12 )

But thats ok 8 million watched it on TV on a Saturday night. plus millions more online.

How are you so confident it was only trump supporters who watched this?! Don’t you realize how entertaining it is to watch him? I guarantee you a large percentage were watching for laughs.

5 ( +12 / -7 )

I guess we should thank AFP for letting everyone know that the empty seats were not due to a lack of interest.

South Korea's annual bill for hosting US military will be doubled this year.

"K-pop has a culture of being responsible," said CedarBough Saeji, an academic expert of the genre based out of Indiana University. "K-pop fans in general are outward-looking, socially conscious people and K-pop in the United States is very heavily supported by people of color, by people who identify as being LGBTQ."

I wonder if this guy has any idea of how the K-pop industry operates, what with all that exploitation - especially of young women?

Might choke on his tofu is he opened his eyes.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

You're being sarcastic, right?

Blacklabel

otherwise known as "interfering in an election".

Ruin their data mining operation and turn the data sets to junk!

5 ( +6 / -1 )

so its now perfectly ok and encouraged for a bunch of foreigners to coordinate to interfere in an US election by using social media owned by a hostile dictatorship to impact the election?

Mueller? anyone?

-5 ( +6 / -11 )

Yes, this is a strange narrative because it makes it sound like this is the only way that liberals can prevent people from otherwise showing up to the rallies.

Seems the narrative would be that no one wants to go, so this action wouldnt be necessary to interfere. If you have to make an effort like this, you should be concerned. Unless Dems are also planning to block the voting in the same way (hello....mail in ballots!)

-6 ( +4 / -10 )

Why on earth do you think K-POP fans are Korean and it constitutes foreign meddling g? Get your finger on the pulse, zeitgeist up. These were mainly young Americans booking tickets to sabotage the event.

8 ( +11 / -3 )

not in the least. I think there should be some FBI informants secretly implanted into the Biden campaign. Need to ensure that the Biden campaign isnt colluding with the foreign owned TikTok to get an unfair election advantage. alternatively, we can just "monitor" (not "spy on") the communications of all of Bidens known associates.

You're being sarcastic, right?

-8 ( +4 / -12 )

Tik Tok?

Now you know why so many CCP funded social media companies are trying to get into the US before the election.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

South Korea's annual bill for hosting US military will be doubled this year.

Hilarious, typical right wing lack of understanding.

South Koreans had nothing to do with it, their American followers did.

6 ( +11 / -5 )

hey, whats the "K" in K-pop stand for again?

Why on earth do you think K-POP fans are Korean

-6 ( +5 / -11 )

Either way, Dems lose, McConnell opinionated close to 300 conservatives judges to the bench

Rule 19.

They can agree and say these groups influenced the totals, but then they are also admitting they got played...

Of course they got played, Even Lewandowski said that, but you learn from that and you just don’t ever make that kind of stupid mistake again.

Really? OK...nice to see you disagree with the Trump campaign...

Donald Trump re-election team denies TikTok teens behind low rally turnout

Well that’s not true, because we have 6.7 million viewers they did show up, but a lot of people are still a little bit uneasy when it comes to this virus and understandably so.

so its now perfectly ok and encouraged for a bunch of foreigners to coordinate to interfere in an US election by using social media owned by a hostile dictatorship to impact the election?

You just perfectly summed up what Bolton said Trump did when he "took a knee" and pleaded with Xi for election help. Glad to see you're disgusted by this too...

1 ( +5 / -4 )

hey, whats the "K" in K-pop stand for again?

You really need to keep up to date. Ask a grandchild or nephew about it.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Nope, nothing to worry about if it is actually true that a bunch of teens on the internet caused people to be unable to get tickets to an event they otherwise wanted to go to.

Weak narrative on your side, if its true its a problem for you more than for Trump.

Your K-Pop trolls cant do the same thing to block votes, sadly for you.

-8 ( +3 / -11 )

K-pop

noun

Korean pop music.

Was that hard?

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

People who applaud this type behaviour may regret what they wish for, if Republican supporters do a similar thing to Biden

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

bass4funk: "Well that’s not true, because we have 6.7 million viewers they did show up, but a lot of people are still a little bit uneasy when it comes to this virus and understandably so."

I know math isn't a strong point, nor are facts, for Trump loyalists, but before you keep on about the "success" of the rally, here's one even you can get:

What is 1,000,000 (the number Trump and the WH said would attend) minus 6,200? Or heck, let's use the spin number some on the Campaign staff are using: What's 1,000,000 minus 12,000?

And don't forget Trump himself said, "We’ve never had an empty seat, and we certainly won’t in Oklahoma.”

I guess your bar of success is what... 0.1%?

4 ( +8 / -4 )

Nope, nothing to worry about if it is actually true that a bunch of teens on the internet caused people to be unable to get tickets to an event they otherwise wanted to go to.

Now, you know that is not true. People who wanted so badly to go could have gone to the outdoor overfill stage for 40,000. Only 25 people did.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

all it takes is ONE of the people involved to be a foreigner for it to be foreign interference. In fact, because a foreign social media platform was used, that also makes it foreign interference. Wasnt this bad, when a "Russian" supposedly put one ad on Facebook, much less interfered with an entire event to create a multi day media attack that benefits the Biden campaign?

Are you telling me that no K-Pop fan is Korean? or Chinese? or any other non American country?

Like the gentleman said above, if this is fine, Republicans can do it too. Is this really ok for you?

-7 ( +3 / -10 )

ok then this whole K-pop narrative is false and no one wanted to go.

Pick a side for once.

Now, you know that is not true. People who wanted so badly to go could have gone to the outdoor overfill stage for 40,000. Only 25 people did.

-6 ( +4 / -10 )

You just perfectly summed up what Bolton said Trump did when he "took a knee" and pleaded with Xi for election help.

I think it was both knees.

5 ( +8 / -3 )

all it takes is ONE of the people involved to be a foreigner for it to be foreign interference.  In fact, because a foreign social media platform was used, that also makes it foreign interference. Wasnt this bad, when a "Russian" supposedly put one ad on Facebook, much less interfered with an entire event to create a multi day media attack that benefits the Biden campaign?

I understand that you an quite unintelligent, but surely even you must know the difference between Americans who like foreign music and a co-ordinated attack on democracy carried out by a foreign government, encouraged by a then Presidential candidate?

5 ( +8 / -3 )

hey, whats the "K" in K-pop stand for again?

LOL! Just because the "K" stands for Korean doesn't mean all the fans of the music are Korean.   Like????????

I can't even with your logic.

You're funny.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Pick a side for once.

That’s your problem, only seeing in black and white. The K-POP ‘narrative’ is true AND no one wanted to go.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Pick a side for once.

You first.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

The followers of trump will be happy to blame the K-Pop fans for the Tulsa fiasco.

What they don't want to admit is that their supporter base is scared , confused and rapidly dwindling.

At this rate the only ones left will be the die hard racists, who will support trump because he is their only hope!!

3 ( +6 / -3 )

this was a coordinated attack carried out using the social media platform of a foreign government, a Communist dictatorship, specifically to benefit one campaign over the other in an election.

Where do you get this conformation that only Americans were involved?

between Americans who like foreign music

-6 ( +4 / -10 )

or it never happened, and its just no one wanted to go. liberals cant seem to decide. so trying to push both narratives at the same time.

Enjoy! as you cant do the same with votes.

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

this was a coordinated attack carried out using the social media platform of a foreign government, a Communist dictatorship, specifically to benefit one campaign over the other in an election.

None of this is true.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

or it never happened, and its just no one wanted to go. liberals cant seem to decide. so trying to push both narratives at the same time.

I think that very few people wanted to go and K-pop stans made your master look like a dope.

5 ( +8 / -3 )

sure it is. Coordinated attack and TikTok is CCP owned. what part is in dispute? or is this all fake news?

None of this is true.

-4 ( +5 / -9 )

so your K-pop heroes made people who didnt want to go.....not go? Thats impressive! You would think that people who didnt want to go, would just not go all by themselves and wouldnt need the extra foreign interference from CCP owned TikTok.

I think that very few people wanted to go and K-pop stans made your master look like a dope.

-5 ( +5 / -10 )

Kpop has a huge global fan base. It's good to see that they are uniting for good causes and activism.

Whilst some people may see this as a prank, it speaks volume that a large demography of kpop fan base are against Trump and his policy.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

the bottom line is that if this type of thing is allowable and isnt interference in an election, I dont want to hear it when its done to your side.

I am interested in the Biden connection as his surrogate AOC seemed to know all about it. As I said maybe the FBI can get involved with the Biden campaign to make sure nothing illegal is going on.

Meanwhile, the rallies will continue and enjoy your "victory"- if it even happened this way to begin with.

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

Coordinated attack

Wrong.

and TikTok is CCP owned.

It isn't.

what part is in dispute?

The above.

or is this all fake news?

It's not news, it's baseless speculation.

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

Nope, nothing to worry about if it is actually true that a bunch of teens on the internet caused people to be unable to get tickets to an event they otherwise wanted to go to.

They didn't. Anyone could request a ticket, and then it was first come, first served to actually get in to the venue. No one was prohibited from getting in by anything but their own volition. What they did was mess up the data collected by the Trump-faction and ramp up expectations of attendance.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

here you go, enjoy your day.

Later that month, two senators from both political parties, Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and Tom Cotton (R-AR), followed suit, calling for a “rigorous assessment” of the potential national security risks of TikTok by US intelligence officials. Their memo expressed concern that it could be a target of foreign influence campaigns like those during the 2016 election, and noted that Chinese companies are required to adhere to Chinese law, which grants the government much greater access than the US to the data belonging to private companies.

“Security experts have voiced concerns that China’s vague patchwork of intelligence, national security, and cybersecurity laws compel Chinese companies to support and cooperate with intelligence work controlled by the Chinese Communist Party,”

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

https://www.vox.com/open-sourced/2019/12/16/21013048/tiktok-china-national-security-investigation

Weird how this article at no point contends that ByteDance, a private company, is "owned by the CCP". You'd think that would make you not want to post it. But there again, the literacy issue.

3 ( +7 / -4 )

Trump getting trolled by k-poppers, after demanding Russia hack Hillary's emails is great! Well deserved.

4 ( +7 / -3 )

Chinese companies have to abide by Chinese law!? Wow, what a scoop you've found!

Note, again, that nothing you've posted says that TikTok is owned by the CCP. Note also that, and this is going to blow your mind, but K-pop stans can use platforms other than TikTok to communicate. Or is Twitter a sinister ChiCom plot, too?

3 ( +7 / -4 )

I’m not a K-POP fan at all. But I imagine trump supporters need a box to put people in or it all falls apart and thinking becomes too difficult. I’m just against stupid and team trump sure look idiotic right now.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

Coming stealthily out of the left field to Tulsa the young generation has provided a legendary tale for our times by giving the deranged Polyphemus a good poke in his narcissistic eye. This is another exemplary instance of how short-sighted politicians who fail to underestimate the energy and elan of young people can be blind-sided.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

Some frantic googling going on in team trump. Give them a minute or two...

3 ( +6 / -3 )

So saboteurs from korea interferred in democracy !

Shows the mentality of the mush minded ones though doesnt it K pop really , its even worse rubbish than j pop and that was cr@p.

Anyway it wont happen again !

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

So now there is proof of foreign interference in the US elections , next time this topic comes up, dont let the Dems wriggle off !

-5 ( +3 / -8 )

So now there is proof of foreign interference in the US elections

Do share this proof! I’d love to see it.

Just in the past month, fans of the globally dominant pop genre -- which was born approximately 25 years ago in South Korea -- co-opted the hashtag #WhiteLivesMatter by flooding it with K-pop related imagery to drown out racist tweets.

"K-pop has a culture of being responsible," said CedarBough Saeji, an academic expert of the genre based out of Indiana University. "K-pop fans in general are outward-looking, socially conscious people and K-pop in the United States is very heavily supported by people of color, by people who identify as being LGBTQ.

Oh, the irony!

TikTok created filter bubbles based on your race.

The app’s algorithm uses race, age and gender to sort users, and created a biased feedback loop. Look it up.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

so your K-pop heroes made people who didnt want to go.....not go? Thats impressive! You would think that people who didnt want to go, would just not go all by themselves and wouldnt need the extra foreign interference from CCP owned TikTok.

@Black -i.like the way you double down further with each post, each becoming slightly more unhinged than the last.

Fro m a bunch of tech-savvy kids taking an opportunity, you have spun it into a story that goes to the CCP behind it and FBI agent's being embedded in the Democrats for no clear reason

Like watching the wheels come off the Trump campaign, it is fascinating reading your increasingly unhinged posts. Even Bass is keeping his distance.

2 ( +6 / -4 )

Trump still wins! Biden who?

-2 ( +4 / -6 )

Oh boy, Kim Jong un better be careful with these beautiful girls. Here’s an idea, I’m gonna find out who their plastic surgeons are and fake book them for a month. That'll have them cryin in their teddy bears.

this was a coordinated attack carried out using the social media platform of a foreign government, a Communist dictatorship, specifically to benefit one campaign over the other in an election.

Really? From Fox News...

Leftists and online trolls doing a victory lap, thinking they somehow impacted rally attendance, don’t know what they’re talking about or how our rallies work," Parscale said. "Reporters who wrote gleefully about TikTok and K-Pop [Korean pop music] fans -- without contacting the campaign for comment -- behaved unprofessionally and were willing dupes to the charade.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-campaign-rejects-idea-that-tiktok-k-pop-fans-sabotaged-rally-dont-know-what-theyre-talking-about

Trump's Campaign Manager thinks you're behaving unprofessionally and are being duped for spreading this "charade".

What do you say about that? Agree with him?

1 ( +5 / -4 )

I know math isn't a strong point, nor are facts, for Trump loyalists,

Says the person Who supported the president that created more part-time jobs in the public sector and more part-time jobs that required a response of “would you like fries with that order” for eight years.

And don't forget Trump himself said, "We’ve never had an empty seat, and we certainly won’t in Oklahoma.”

Yes, but 6.7 million viewers is astonishing a lot regardless of how liberals desperately trying to figure out the numbers and push the square into the circle box.

I guess your bar of success is what... 0.1%?

Not when you factor 6.7 million then you’re looking at 100% theoretically.

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

What does that prove Bjorn?

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

But you just said above that he got played, so did they show up or not?

rhetorical question?

You just perfectly summed up what Bolton said Trump did when he "took a knee" and pleaded with Xi for election help. Glad to see you're disgusted by this too.

But you just said above that he got played, so did they show up or not?

Does that mean you can't answer it? And same question for you - you said the campaign was "played" - Brad Parscale, Trump's Campaign Manager, says that's false - and that you're being duped by spreading this "charade"...

What do you say?

You just perfectly summed up what Bolton said Trump did when he "took a knee" and pleaded with Xi for election help. Glad to see you're disgusted by this too.

Hmmm...Lightizer said, that never happened.

But Bolton said it did - and who is the Republican Conservative Icon?

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Does that mean you can't answer it?

I already did.

What do you say?

I say that Trump campaign is now on their guard and will definitely make sure that the kind of thing will never happen again.

But Bolton said it did -

Lightizher said, it didn’t happen.

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

I can see the headlines now :

”Shocking underhand tactics used in politics!”

Hold the front page!

Except this time it was smart kids and a youth movement. trump was so focused on appeasing overweight middle aged angry whites and demonizing scary angry blacks that he didn’t see that coming.

3 ( +7 / -4 )

Does that mean you can't answer it?

I already did.

Hmmmm.....OK. Then you agree with Trump's Campaign Manager that you're being duped and spreading a "charade" when you say:
