Only in conservative Idiotsville is a renamed NAFTA somehow a better deal for the US.

Without us, the entire family would be slaughtered.

not the Saud family itd justbe another dictator, doesnt change the fact America is addidcted to middle east oil

How about answering my question first and then we’ll do a follow up to the next.

actually it was Trump who based his whole political campaign on false names claims acusations and labeling opponents morally corrupt. so it seems Trumps opponents were first in line so its only fair they be given creditable evidence and answers? Thought so/

1 ( +1 / -0 )

Don't need to, the world needs us more than we need them.

oh better tell that to Saudi Arabia then

Without us, the entire family would be slaughtered.

Evidence? Thought so/

NAFTA got a name change woo yeah hooray for isolationism.

But with a better deal for the US.

So "so many countries got it wrong." means nothing and was a pointless response then. Got it. Thanks.

You are welcome

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Putin will be issuing new orders to lapdog Trump.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

That as well.

NAFTA got a name change woo yeah hooray for isolationism.

I really don’t.

So "so many countries got it wrong." means nothing and was a pointless response then. Got it. Thanks.

Evidence? Thought so/

Trumps eveidence? Though so/

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Here's a teaser: If Putin and Trump collude in the forest, and no one else hears it,

is that treason?

3 ( +3 / -0 )

3 ( +3 / -0 )

You must be talking about NAFTA

That as well.

Primarily America, and you don't care about what happens or the protocols in other countries.

I really don’t.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

We did learn a valuable lesson, being isolationists works.

You must be talking about NAFTA.

Ahhh, the reports where so many countries got it wrong.

Primarily America, and you don't care about what happens or the protocols in other countries.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

That's not the lesson you need to learn.

We did learn a valuable lesson, being isolationists works.

I'll see your illusion of being a global defender and raise you a couple of manufactured reports of wmds.

Ahhh, the reports where so many countries got it wrong.

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

Don't need to, the world needs us more than we need them.

That's not the lesson you need to learn.

We wouldn't if the other countries could take care of themselves or attacking our allies or trying to attack us.

I'll see your illusion of being a global defender and raise you a couple of manufactured reports of wmds.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

They haven’t liked us since the US was founded, yawn, so you’re not telling me anything new.

Yet you refuse to learn from it.

Not at all. I care what goes on in my country, NOT what happens or the protocols in other countries.

Probably why the US gets involved in so many wars.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Heaven forbid we get along with the country with the biggest nuke stockpile.

You have to, seeing as they own your boss.

I don’t get upset, I’m not a liberal

Liberals seem to upset you too. Liberals and bowing / kneeling.

I care what goes on in my country, NOT what happens or the protocols in other countries.

Unless it's Russia meddling in your country's elections, blackmailing your boss, and forcing him to bend over. Nov 11th will be another demonstration of how a strong mind dominates a feeble one. Maybe Putin will throw Donny a bone or two.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

They don't have to. Nobody has to. It's not mandatory. Shaking hands is also not. Common courtesy to others does not mean that you are subservient to them. For a bunch of folks that talk tough you do get upset about trivial things.

I don’t get upset, I’m not a liberal, I’m just stating a point of view.

Odd how you think that bowing and kneeling are to be avoided by presidents, but should be mandatory for football players. Is that one of them double standard things?

Not at all. I care what goes on in my country, NOT what happens or the protocols in other countries.

That thing about the US being above everyone else is why the rest of the world doesn't like you.

They haven’t liked us since the US was founded, yawn, so you’re not telling me anything new.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

Why after all the years of conservatives warning about and attacking Russia do they suddenly want to cozy up to Russia?

2 ( +2 / -0 )

"criticism that Trump was cozying up to the Kremlin."

Heaven forbid we get along with the country with the biggest nuke stockpile.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Yes, it is, the US President doesn't bow to any foreign nation.

It's called protocol, mate... your president is an elected official... when he meets a sovereign he should bow... even if that sovereign is a murderer. That thing about the US being above everyone else is why the rest of the world doesn't like you.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

Yup, No US President should ever have to bow to anyone

Nancy is indeed a woman. However, she didn't bow. The guy in the suit did. His name is Ronald Reagan. Do you have 'Trump Inauguration Weather Syndrome'? You haven't said anything that is factually correct yet today, wanna give it another shot Mr. journalist?

Yup, No US President should ever have to bow to anyone, If Reagan bowed that is a shame just as it was worse when the last President went on his apology tour and what did he get for that? Nothing except two dead dictators and uprising in the Mideast and a continuation of the Afghan war.

-10 ( +0 / -10 )

Don't need to and nor should any US President, I sure wouldn't.

this is 2018 bowing to an Emporer ,Quenn or King is a sign of respect for the position and the centuries old Royal lineage, its not to kowtow to their will, big difference.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

hell yeah gotta get the 2020 campaign organsied, Trump Putin 2020! MAGA

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Good to hear that.

I hope presidents will remember during that important event all the new pain for mankind that was created at that time (my great grand father was gassed and eventually died).

Small but frank talks can make huge difference again.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

She's a woman, is she not? Nice try padner

The previous President was an apologist.

The current one is a paid servant of Russia & Saudi Arabia.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

The above being said.., the phrasing of this article trying to put different perspectives on the meeting and second guessing by inference and bringing up the past may be a good referencing technique, but to "invite" "controversy" by totally unrelated and obviously biased opinion is not "respectable" reporting but only an attempt to "incite" emotional reactions not related to the meeting itself.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Hopefully Trump won't fall all over himself again kissing Putin's royal behind as he did in Helsinki.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Time to get away from the petty discussion and view the meeting as an important one for both nations and in effect, Europe, Middle East and Asia.

Regardless of political views here.., Trump has accomplished much in foreign negotiations from NK's Kim to China's XI, as with Canada and Japan. He has shown that it is by meeting face-to-face between leaders that "can" make a difference in not only the relationship but in the process of working together for or against. By meeting each together, both are able to "read" the nuance and feel behind the rhetoric. That is the most important aspect of communication. And communication is the key to any "relationship".

Whether we may like it or not, we are inseparably "related" as long as we exist.

From there Trump as well as Putin is able to decipher future rhetoric and take action much more sensibly. That is the most important aspect of a meeting.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

You’ve gone from, ‘the US President doesn’t bow to any foreign nation’ to this. Nice backtracking champ.

The previous President was an apologist.

Here’s Reagan bowing to the Queen. Time to fall back and build another defensive position.

She's a woman, is she not? Nice try padner

-10 ( +0 / -10 )

Up until Obama, No President did and Trump is not a career politician.

I believe Trump curtsied, which was really cute. People do that to monarchs.

Up until Obama, No President did and Trump is not a career politician.

Trump bows to Putin and Kim constantly.

If you can find a video of that I will owe you an apology, take your time.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

Trump curtsied to the Saudi King. That's far worse than bowing.

Trump bows to Putin and Kim constantly.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

No it isn't.

Yes, it is, the US President doesn't bow to any foreign nation.

You don't know how to kneel? Seriously...

Don't need to and nor should any US President, I sure wouldn't.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

No, he bowed, even worse.

No it isn't.

How so?

You don't know how to kneel? Seriously...

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Obama didn't kneel before the Saudis,

No, he bowed, even worse.

but Trump may just kneel before his Master, Darth Putin.

How so?

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

Obama kneeled before Kind Saud, a man who presides over the execution of gays.

Kneeled? I think not.

He bowed, as did Trump. Who bowed more? Judge for yourself.

9 ( +11 / -2 )

"That's being discussed right now," Trump said. "I think we probably will. It hasn't been set up yet, but it probably will be."

In other words, Trump can't be sure until Putin tells him when.

@brnihbsu Obama kneeled before Kind Saud, a man who presides over the execution of gays.

Kneeled? Counterfactual.

Obama kneeled before Kind Saud, a man who presides over the execution of gays.

This statement has no basis in reality.

Why is it almost impossible for rightists to be honest?
