This kind of NK activity really isn't news anymore.

North Korea ended a yearlong pause in ballistic tests in March

Kim didn’t read the small print-prohibited.

(Yawn)...I mean, who cares?

This has been going on for ages.

North Korea ended a yearlong pause in ballistic tests in March by firing two short-range ballistic missiles into the sea, continuing a tradition of testing new U.S. administrations with weapons demonstrations aimed at measuring Washington's response and wresting concessions.

I suggest to ignore them. It's not that they are actually shooting their junk at anybody or anything. They just use that pretty expensive method of disposing of their junk by tossing it into the sea. I guess somebody could sue them for illegally throwing garbage into the ocean, but really, who cares about that petulant man-child of a nation? We all have other more urgent problems to attend to. This counts for South Korea, Russia, China, the US and Japan.

And frankly, should North Korea become too "dangerous" to handle, I would tend to believe them to have a higher chance of being "dealt with" by China before anybody else. China probably has defined some kind of a "price-tag" for North Korea, a "price-tag" China would not go above, as it would simply be too expensive (i.e. strategically, economically, geopolitically, etc)

I want to see the photo op images of dough boy smiling with binoculars in his hands and all the old men with the huge green hats clapping like crazy.

Those photos are works of art.!

While the North still is testing submarine launched missiles from submersible barges (in other words they have no operational capability), the South appears to have a deployed missile that can be employed with little to no warning. at targets up to 500 miles away.

Pretty sure they wanted the North to know that fact.

Biden has no interest in NK. Too many more serious domestic problems to deal with. NK is very low on the agenda.

Mr.Moon is not serious on North Korea, he just want to please the hardliners! He likes North Korea, he is proud parading in Pyongyang! And K.J. know this, he is laughing loud!

After the debacle in Afghanistan the South is realizing that the new regime in Washington is an unreliable ally and they need to step up their own defense capabilities.

Biden increased defence spending.
