Putin lies about having no intention of invading the Ukraine.

The U.S. has picked up intelligence showing that Russian military officials were given an order to go ahead with an invasion of Ukraine

@The Avenger, they have invaded like 15 times already, based on this so-called intelligence

@The Avenger

I think Biden is very good at lying too.

Biden checkmating Putin each day - now Putin has to change his exercise dates....

Time is running out on Putin - the frozen ground is melting, making an invasion harder each day...

How much have these Russian troop movements and exercises cost? Why couldn't that money have been spent on the Russian people; on crumbling infrastructure, on COVID, on increasing quality of life?

Russia lost more people during WWII than any other country - the Russian people don't want war - and won't follow their warmongering leader...who is clearly using this provocation to deflect from his failed leadership...

The picture legend mentions far right groups in Ukraine are doing trainings. Easy to blame Russia but extremists in Ukraine are very involved in rising tensions. Whatever happens in East Ukraine, we will never know who is the victim or doing the assault.

Western leaders warned that Russia was poised to attack its neighbor, which is surrounded on three sides by about 150,000 Russian soldiers, warplanes and equipment. Russia held nuclear drills Saturday as well as the conventional exercises in Belarus, and has ongoing naval drills off the coast in the Black Sea.

Biden checkmating Putin each day - now Putin has to change his exercise dates....

No, he didn’t, more like the other way around. When the Russian soldiers leave then maybe, but as of now Biden is getting his clock cleaned.

Same for the US, why wouldn't the government focus on rising problems at home? Average citizens are more concerned with galloping inflation, skyrocketing rent, poor COVID response and the immigration problems.

“VP Harris says sanctions would absolutely deter Putin, despite saying he made up his mind on invading Ukraine”

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has pleaded for the U.S. and allies to impose sanctions against Russia now — before a potential invasion of Ukraine happens

And just another day of Putin-adoration from our far-right friends...evidently their dictator-love knows no bounds...

Yesterday they admitted he is not only their hero, but "their good Lord" also... If Trump heard that, he'd turn from orange to red with envy...

One can only imagine if they had been around seventy years ago what praise they'd be singing for America's enemies during WWII...

Well, he’s definitely outsmarting Biden, you don’t have to love the guy to see that.

Yesterday they admitted he is not only their hero, but "their good Lord"

“Who is they?”

The presence of the Russian troops raised concern that they could be used to sweep down on the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, a city of about 3 million people less than a three-hour drive away.

Why is Russia evacuating civilians out of East Ukraine and into Russia?

Because the Ukrainians are attacking them in an attempt to provoke Russia into fighting back. The Russian leadership is too smart to fall for that but cannot allow the provocation to stand, so they're evacuating the entire area of some 3.4 million people into Russia. Something like 1m ethnic Russians have already left the Ukraine, which is a basket case.

Here's an excellent article by the great John Pilger which explains the background to what's actually happening there now:

"New intel adds to US fears that Russia is readying for military action"

What is this like day 15 of this headline? at least this one has "fear" in it.

What happened to certain invasion? its now readying for "military action"?

As usual liberals and their media will just keep moving the goal posts to claim what they said is right.

"No one ever said that they would "invade"....." is incoming shortly.

there are so many already...

speaking of that- usual guy doing usual stuff.

Indeed - the deification of Putin by our far-right friends is a daily occurrence...

The Putin-love repetitive nonsense already started again so....

May want to talk to your fellow far-right poster about that....he said plainly above; "Biden bad, Putin good"....and yesterday said Putin was "The Good Lord"... You agree?

how long until Tucker Carlson makes his multiple times daily appearance here?

Thanks - I didn't see Comrade Carlson mentioned in the article but its clear you see his devotion and groveling to Putin too...

the only far right thing here is the Azov battalion on the national guard of ukraine

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Azov_Battalion

In 2014, the regiment gained notoriety after allegations emerged of torture and war crimes as well as neo-Nazi sympathies and usage of associated symbols by the regiment itself, as seen in their logo featuring the Wolfsangel, one of the original symbols used by the 2nd SS Panzer Division Das Reich.

We’re talking about the potential for war in Europe,” U.S. Vice President Kamala Harris said Sunday at a security conference in Munich, Germany. “It’s been over 70 years, and through those 70 years ... there has been peace and security.”

Former Yugoslavia wars where US got involved was just a couple of decades ago?

Are these the same conservatives bashing Obama for only sending blankets? Yep.

Have your cake and eat it, too.

Are these the same conservatives bashing Obama for only sending blankets? Yep.

Not just conservatives. Chicago Tribune and the NYT (not exactly a conservative outfit) stated the same facts. This just won’t end well for Biden.

The families of the victims of the Bosnian genocide would like to have a word with you out in the back, Kamala.

let me be honest its not nice what you are doing!

Biden say Russia was going to invade last week. We're still waiting.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

With OL' Joe and Kamala on the case it is clear that we will outsmart Pootin and stand strong with the democratic, freedom loving, noble people of Ukraine.

They have been forcing him to delay his invasion for almost a month now with their astute strategic moves and strong rhetoric.

Is this the same non-war where Hillary claimed to have landed under sniper fire?

Biden blinked.

"President Joe Biden has agreed "in principle" to French-brokered summit talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin as long as Russia does not further invade Ukraine, the White House said late Sunday."

dont you love how the media sneaks in these little words?

further invade? so they have already invaded? NO they have not.

Not Mr Kalashnikov assault rifle.

Whatever happens in East Ukraine, we will never know who is the victim or doing the assault.

Good point, but whichever, individuals can use any of any number of sources to find an answer that fits their agenda. That's the yin and yang of media especially in the internet era, still I prefer the range of possible explanations provided accessed via the internet and provided by free press outlets to only hearing a single state-sponsored media report.

And when all is said and done, most people just want to read whatever confirms their prejudices. High quality research tries to shun and avoid confirmation bias, but most others not involved in research, especially those posting on online forums do not care about the quality of the source, they just want to rabble-rabble.
