Someone needs their diaper changed and a nap.

What Trump has managed with his political theater with Kim is to change the rethoric from nuclear war to peace, taking the nuclear option off the table. Which is pretty amazing.

in your dreams, what has Trump done? Kim still got his nukes still testing missiles, and still has 16000 artillery guns pointed at Seoul. Trump has done nothing to reduce the rhetoric or even lowered the chance of war. Hes the 1st president that said hed fix the problem and hasn't done anything, and no previous president said they could fix the NK problem

Never forget this forget this scumbag regime is supported by the scumbag dictatorships in Russia and China. And currently little orange Johnny Pisquick in the whitehouse ....

The Norks are like that kid who drooled and wiped their nose on their sleeve all the time and then wanted to be everyone's buddy at recess and when the other kids cringed away they always yelled, "I'll show all of you one day."

It is actually a pretty smart policy which has worked well for the regime. If you think they are crazy, you are falling for their game. They exactly want everyone to think they are dangerous and crazy.

rainyday:

Wait, I’m confused. I thought Trump single handedly solved the 70 year old conflict

You should have stopped after the first sentence. To expect to Trump to single handedly "solve" a 70-year old conflict that also involves agreement from China is ab surd. Especially coming from those who constantly d rone on about how stu pid Don nie supposedly is.

What Trump has managed with his political theater with Kim is to change the rethoric from nuclear war to peace, taking the nuclear option off the table. Which is pretty amazing.

Of course, if Kims sinister looking sister now takes the helm, it is a different ball game again. Does anybody really know anything about her?

N Korean military threatens to reenter demilitarized areas

Another temper tantrum from Mr. Marshmallow Head.

Wait, I’m confused. I thought Trump single handedly solved the 70 year old conflict with his photo op ceremony with Kim a couple of years ago. Why isn’t the lamestream media reporting about that?

For one thing, that was around the 4th of July last year and Don's daughter/wife accompanied him. That was also when the deplorable conditions of those childrens' concentration camps were revealed. The whole photo op was a sham and everybody knows it.

And Kim don't love his love letter sharer Trump no more. He's bored and he wants everyone to see how 'tough' he is but he's just a hissy-fit throwing misfit.

I think we need to give trump a second Nobel for fixing this N. Korea problem so well.

KJU is already dead thats y we see his sister or NK ministers appearing in the news as simple as that

So looking at the photo of the north korean mistress I am guessing in the next 28 days she will be pissed again and in some sort of un crontronable mood looking to release some sort of menstual frustration on something or some one, thankfully i'm not her husband if this is how she behaves.

Monty if you were the leader of a poor country, what would you do? If your enemy had nuclear weapons and a huge army at their call 50km from your border, if you loved your position and didn't want to give it up, what would you do? Try to put yourselves in their shoes, and it makes all the sense in the world. They have nothing so they must act like they have more. The NK leadership doesn't want to give up their leadership despite the needs of their people. Think about it monty!

The little birdie's theory was that look-alike stand-ins are being used until she really has control of the reins, at which time an important announcement may be made.

Am I missing something? I thought Trump had fixed everything with N. Korea.

The fat little boy in North Korea must want something from the other fat little boy in the Oval Office.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

And where is Jong Un in all of this? Sounds like power may be shifting on the peninsula.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

NK is like Antifa, not Israel. Blowing up buildings out of ignorant petulance.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Of course last year they also destroyed the tourist hotels built at great expense by the South up at Mt Kumgang.

A little birdie has been making suggestions that this relatively new office complex was quietly stripped of all the latest electrical equipment, etc., i.e. anything useful or valuable first. The same little birdie has also suggested reasons why sister Yo-Jong has been acting high and mighty recently, but one cannot put one's faith in little birdies.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

goodlucktoyou are you really comparing Israel to NK?

5 ( +7 / -2 )

Sounds a bit like Kim's sister is making her power move

I am starting to think that as well. If that's the case, get ready for war. She doesn't seem the type to understand blustering and bluffing as her brother and an father did. Looks like a flat our psycho to me.

nandakandamanda: "SK has some history of reversing deals with others."

I find that amusing given we are talking about dealings with NK and the US, of all nations, and of course your not subtle stab at SK's reversal on the sex-slave issue (and NO ONE is in any position to make any such claims in regards to dealings with Japan, either). Compared to those other nations, the SK government are saints.

If Gaza sent balloons to Israel, homes would be destroyed and civilians murdered.

Hamas sends rockets, not balloons, to Israel, destroying homes and murdering civilians indeed. The fake media typically does not report that, they wake when Israel finally responds. If Hamas sent balloons, nobody would care. Your point?

If SK sends balloons to NK, we are told it is for democracy. Amen.

Because they are? Again, your point?

And what would those balloons say, that Israelis should free themselves and move to Gaza!!!

I don't think sending peace messages is high on Hamas' priorities.

And SK does send balloons for democracy.

Perhaps his former BFF and love letter sharer Kim, realizing Trump botched both the COVID response and the Black Lives Matter protests, and might be looking for a change of subject and possible international accomplishment....

The North Koreans are doing this because they think Trump is weak and that he'll cave and give them what they want - recognition as a nuclear power, retaining their nukes, and a peace treaty.

They also think Trump is a lame duck - best to try to get something from him before the adults get back in charge after Nov....

3 ( +7 / -4 )

No big deal the Moon government won't do anything. NK could blow up just about anything they wanted and get away with it. The only people in SK who take this seriously are the SK military. And even they will be sold out in the end.

North Korea just flexing its muscles, bully boy tactics. Could Trump ride in and save the day , would bolster his re election chances. Lets not forget his romantic liaison with Kim, just maybe this is another ploy out of the Trumpington playbook.

Let them re enter the dmz, they are likely to step on a land mine.

Lil kim needs to be taught a lesson.

He, his father and grandfather have taken the world for a ride too many times for too long.

They should be made to realize there are serious consequences if they go down this path.

China might not object too much, given the current state they are in!!

7 ( +9 / -2 )

It's funny to watch North Korea always threatening and acting ridiculously towards South Korea, and South Korea always groveling for understanding. Whereas with any argument with Japan, no matter how insignificant and even when not provoked, South Korea acts like it's being bombed or invaded.

N Korean military threatens to reenter demilitarized areas

yawn. yeah. whatever.

This version of the Kim dynasty (the sister) is showing signs of being the worst so far, maybe time to actually Liberate the north koreans from the terrible dictatorship they have endured for decades, Set them free for once and all.

The rest of Asia should not have to live with the constant barrage of threats and missile firings !

4 ( +7 / -3 )

Nutcases, I just don't understand why put so many lives in jeopardy over "what?" balloons? Take some time out, splattering your youth over this is stupid.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Just the usual Kabuki theater. The only interesting thing here is the absence of the Dear Leader himself. Something is different from the usual playbook. It is possible he is not well and elevating the role of his sister.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

North Korea is threatening the whole world since many years.

We have this crazy Kim Jong Un, and now his probably much more crazy sister appears on the scene.

What is going on in the heads of these people?

9 ( +13 / -4 )

Moon on Monday called on North Korea to stop raising animosities and return to talks, saying that the rivals must not reverse the peace deals.

Does anyone honestly believes she will listen to Moon's weak pleas? I doubt it. She and Brother Kim are probably laughing.

Well, it's back to normal with North Korea. More verbal threats, missile firings, nuclear testing, etc., to come....

Wonder what Moon's new game plan will be in dealing with the new DPRK "Dragon Lady"

13 ( +15 / -2 )

Sounds a bit like Kim's sister is making her power move. Internal political struggle? The whole thing with her brother disappearing for a few weeks and now this. Of course, all just speculation as per normal with NK.

14 ( +16 / -2 )

Quote: “South Korean President Moon Jae-in called on North Korea to stop raising animosities and return to talks, saying Monday the rivals must not reverse the peace deals that he and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un reached during 2018 summits.”

SK has some history of reversing deals with others.
