Taliban form all-male Afghan government of old guard members

A SAD day for all women. what a shame.

Taliban special forces in camouflage fired their weapons into the air to end a protest march in Kabul by women demanding equal rights.

Camoouflage wearing men packing weapons, not surprisingly that could be used to describe misogynists and other extremists around the world. See pictures of insurrectionists attacking the US capitol on Jan. 6th for another example.

Why would males be so afraid of women that they need to fire guns to show their ''strength'. What is it with males and their guns, are they afraid a woman might beat them up.

Sliding back into the Dark Ages.

Surprised? Can we now just let them run their theocracy and leave it up to the Afghan people to decide if they want something different?

C'mon, we're talking about the Taliban here.

Appointed to the key post of interior minister was Sirajuddin Haqqani, who is on the FBI’s most-wanted list with a $5 million bounty on his head and is believed to still be holding at least one American hostage.

Well, bounty hunters, now you know where his office is. Go get him!

Good news.

Good news for who exactly?

It is the worst news possible for women in Afghanistan.

It is bad news for minorities in Afghanistan and for its neighbors.

The only section for whom it is "good news" is the old male members of the Taliban who get complete power over everyone in that poor country, and they get to send current day Afghans hurtling backwards in time to a point thousands of years ago when the prehistoric document they base their life around was written. Wether the people agree or not.

It comes as no surprise. Everyone knew it would happen. Very upsetting.
