Interestingly, not everything is burnt in that picture above. Maybe it is the very speed of the flames coming through that causes them to jump?

My friends live in NSW where the air is thick with smoke. They must be constantly monitoring the latest bushfire maps. Let us hope that the rain and the winds prove favourable.

The crisis has focused attention on climate change -- which scientists say is creating a longer and more intense bushfire season -- and sparked street protests calling for immediate action to tackle global warming.

How about an alternative to "climate change" as a reason for the intensiveness and multitude of fires, not to mention the "dry" lightening? A conspiracy theory if you like. It is an open secret that geoengineering is going on and has been for decades. There are patents, for example, such as this one from 1991 which is supposed to "reduce global warming" using aluminum oxide and other metal particulates.

Excerpt: One proposed solution to the problem of global warming involves the seeding of the atmosphere with metallic particles. One technique proposed to seed the metallic particles was to add the tiny particles to the fuel of jet airliners, so that the particles would be emitted from the jet engine exhaust while the airliner was at its cruising altitude. /.... / Such materials can include the class of materials known as Welsbach materials. The oxides of metal, e.g., aluminum oxide (AO), are also suitable for the purpose.

If anyone thinks that's nonsense then here is a url listing 100 US patents related to weather modification.

And this:

A retired USAF brigadier general, Gen. Charles Jones, has been quoted from a public source as stating, "These white aircraft spray trails are the result of scientifically verifiable spraying of aluminum particles and other toxic heavy metals, polymers and chemicals."

"Millions of tons of aluminum and barium are being sprayed almost daily across the U.S., stated Mills, a former naval officer and UCLA graduate. "Just sprinkle aluminum or barium dust on a fire and see what happens. It's near explosive. When wildfires break out, the aluminum/barium dust results in levels of fire intensity so great as to cause firefighters to coin a new term ̶ 'firenados,' " he said. The entire U.S., in addition to various other NATO countries, are being sprayed." The government has for years denied the existence of chemtrail spraying. It now calls the program by various names, all under Geoengineering.

Like I say it's a theory but manipulation of the atmosphere is plausible. I found the above info from the YT channel below. He shows evidence of geoengineering over Australia using satellite pics and also what happens when AO is added to a fire.

Add to the above the fact that much of the water from Australia's natural artesian/aquifer system is being syphoned off. It's used for the mining and agricultural industries and is stored in large privately owned dams and reservoirs which makes the land that much drier because the trees and bush don't get enough water from underground aquifers. I mentioned in a previous post that the Darling river has run dry because of this water harvesting, not because of the drought. Further to this there are other deals going on such as the Straits Times reporting that "Olam is selling permanent water rights in Australia for $452.7 million."

So any 'climate change' making Australia drier than usual may indeed be due to human activity but not as we're being told in the corporate-owned media. Am only posting this because all angles need to be looked at and for anyone who can see past the AGW scam.
