This sucks big time. The noise coming from him is going to be like nails scratching on a blackboard!

Yessssss!

This sucks big time.

Nah, it's sweet! Secure our border already!

Rep. Tom McClintock, R-Calif., said Trump was acting against the "radical left in this House that would dissolve our borders entirely if given the chance" — a stance that no Democrat has taken.

Ah, the beauty of the bubble. You can get away with saying stupid things like this, and get nods.

Congress already said NO. Now Trump is getting the Pentagon to cancel projects to divert to a useless wall. After the Marines blasted him for wasting time with troop deployments to the border.

All to get old men with a fear of foreigners to sleep at night.

Another middle finger to our military and veterans from this Imposter President. No upgraded weapons, no additional training, no new schools for your children...and oh by the way, we're going to deploy you to the border for pure political reasons even though we say it's for a national emergency.

And all those military leaders and heroes that you admire - John McCain, Jim Mattis, John Kelly - I'll ridicule them too.

A national emergency - and this Dimwit spends more time on the golf course than he does at the White House...

I'm waiting for him to order the SECDEF to require all military personnel TDY to stay at a Trump property, so he can bilk more money from taxpayers...

I still can't think of this as that bad. It sets a precedent. Trump will get his border wall, and the next time the Democrats are in power, they will get healthcare and gun control.

Another middle finger to our military and veterans from this Imposter President.

Why? The majority of them think the border is a complete mess and want drastic action more than ever. Well, now it’s going to happen.

No upgraded weapons, no additional training, no new schools for your children...and oh by the way, we're going to deploy you to the border for pure political reasons even though we say it's for a national emergency.

So then what are the Democrats going to do about our abysmal public education? Kids can’t spell or think, but they’re good at protesting, twerking and having meltdowns, important skills.

Now if this is not an emergency, then I don’t know what is...we have caravans and thousands of people illegally trying to get into this country, not a problem. The idiot AOC is screaming we will all be dead in 12 years, action has to be taken....ok...sure...

And all those military leaders and heroes that you admire - John McCain, Jim Mattis, John Kelly - I'll ridicule them too.

They ridicule him, so.....

A national emergency - and this Dimwit spends more time on the golf course than he does at the White House...

I'm waiting for him to order the SECDEF to require all military personnel TDY to stay at a Trump property, so he can bilk more money from taxpayers...

After 2 years of a fruitless hoax witch-hunt, not only should he golf and enjoy the news and vindication, he should have a shindig of a BBQ party.

And more winning. This has been a great week so far. Plus the media can’t just randomly insert Russia or mueller into everything without mentioning “no collusion”.

-4 ( +7 / -11 )

Wow- the Pentagon has that much extra money sloshing around? Their management must be reformed and budget cut. That is the only message takeable from this.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

This was his biggest campaign promise...Americans voted him in for this reason.

He's doing exactly what he said he would. There's nothing to be mad about.

-3 ( +6 / -9 )

A foregone conclusion. Nobody should be surprised.

It’s a difficult issue. I can understand the dislike for Trump or any other president, but to mention border protection due to “old men with a fear for foreigners” is just plain ridiculous. As far as I know, there is not one country on this planet where you can just walk across the border and get away with it when caught. Except Japan. When I came here the first time and immigration asked me why the heck I was coming here, I just said screw you , you foreigner fearing old man and walked right in. They came running after me with “sir, you forgot your permanent resident visa”. Not. People can foam at the mouth and demonize Trump for wanting to put up a wall to keep illegal, as in not legal, immigrants out of the United States, but to be fair, once upon a time, the Secure Fence Act of 2006 was signed into law and was supported by (then senator) Obama, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden etc., to do exactly that, prevent people from entering the US illegally. Now, one can argue that a fence is not a wall as Clinton later did, but the objective is the same. The fence was not effective and a wall won’t stop people from crossing into the US as the border is just too long and covers mostly remote areas. Perhaps someone here on JT has a solution for this problem.

Bass:. The majority of them think the border is a complete mess and want drastic action more than ever.

Can we see your current and paste data that supports this from our military?

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Schumer, Feinstein et al were all for a wall, pre Trump.

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

For now.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

I wonder if Trump even wants this budget to pass and work on the project, if he actually does have to start building the stupid wall then people will realize that it indeed accomplished nothing and was a total waste of funds and maybe then his supporters will start to realize his promises don't mean what he says. If the Dems and others keep "obstructing" him, then he gets all the benefits from trying to keep his promise to his base while not actually having to go through with it.

So the House failed to override the veto due to falling short of the two-thirds majority required. No doubt the democrats will try to change THAT rule....and try again.

In the meantime, there is a new group of 2500 migrants heading toward the U.S.

https://www.usnews.com/news/best-states/arizona/articles/2019-03-26/new-migrant-caravan-of-2-500-sets-out-through-mexico-for-us

As the 2020 elections gets closer, there will be more and more migrant waves arriving at the border en mass attempting to force their way across the border into the U.S, and Americans (except democrats and illegal immigration sympathizers) will wish that wall, fence, barrier or whatever you call it, was built.

Secure our borders? A guy made it to Japan with tons of drugs through an airport. Can a wall stop an airplane from flying over it?

El Chapo said that the vast majority of his drugs went through legal road and air checkpoints. Bribery was the most effective way of securing his trade route. Also, he had fully functioning drug tunnels under the current walls that had electricity, elevators, and air conditioning.

Also, 60% of illegal crossings were done through legal check points with bribed patrol officers.

Why are we spending money on a wall? Increasing the salary of border patrol would be far more effective than wasting money on a wall.

Why are we spending money on a wall?

It's starting to look like the answer to that question is: to learn a lesson about the fallacy of falling to unreasonable fear.

Everyone knows that open borders is an incentive not just for illegal immigration, but also for child-trafficking.  That is going to lead not just to more unwed mothers and their kids making illegal entry, but to cartel members ramping up their child kidnapping and human-trafficking operations, given that nobody has to prove that that baby on her hip is actually hers.  Every border crossing with a kid would mean instant catch and release. Every child of an illegal border-crosser would amount to a free ticket in. Guess the Dims are happy with that.

Nothing to worry about - those are just all the illegal immigrants answering his help wanted adds at his Trump properties...Donnie knows how to hire them cheap...

After 2 years of a fruitless hoax witch-hunt, not only should he golf and enjoy the news and vindication, he should have a shindig of a BBQ party.

You mean a shindig with Stormy and her friends?

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Uh no. Now that MAGA (Michael Avenatti Got Arrested) happened, Stormy is no longer an attack point against Trump. She can return to the porno star retirement home.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Build the wall.

In your dreams. Stormy is stuck to Donnie - especially since he's "Individual -1" in the payoff conspiracy investigation by the NY SD Attorney...you know, one of the 10 separate criminal investigations he's involved in...

Build the wall.

But leave a tiny door so Trump's golf course illegal immigrant employees can get in...

@bass After 2 years of a fruitless hoax witch-hunt, not only should he golf and enjoy the news and vindication, he should have a shindig of a BBQ party....You make it sound like he hasn't played golf in the past 2 years..or had a shindig...sorry to disappoint you he only has spent 25% of his time since being in office at his courses....only racked up 77 odd games only cost the tax payer 99 million....as for being fruitless seems like a good harvest to me plenty of crooks now behind bars due to the so called fruitless witchhunt....

the next time the Democrats are in power, they will get healthcare and gun control.

Pffft. The Republicans are going to get health care done as soon as we get rid of enough RINOS and Democrats. Would have got something done already if RINO McCain hadn't given the vindictive middle finger to Trump to keep the Obamacare disaster after he said over and over he was for repeal.

As far as gun control we need to enforce better the laws already on the books. We will not stand to have our 2nd Amendment overturned.

Have no ideal why the military like him as he has raided the fund to construct military family housing.

Alright! Mr President, Build that wall!

Former CNN darling Arvenatti is off to prison for a loooong time, riding the beloney pony. And to think, the Dems had him on the list as a possible furure presidential candidate!

Beavis and Butthead...or maybe Beaverhead and Butthead...

Hey, after Trump, he may still very well be!

It will take a long time to sort out the legal issues, then Trump will be gone. I'm proud to know we stopped his $25 billion waste of money.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

It won’t take until 2025 to sort it out. Wall construction can start in a few months with this 1 billion dollars.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Nah, it won't happen in a few months, and a billion won't get much of anything anyway, and certainly is a step down from the $25 Trump needs.

What I would support is some kind of government program to get older Trump supporters on some kind of anxiety medication. The result will be to reduce their fear of foreign people while at the same time saving a ton of money by not building a wall.

Heh.

I would say the same for our Russian contributors, but it will interfere with the amphetamines....

ILLEGAL foreigners. Like the 16 year old illegal who just killed an African American teacher in a hit and run. Didnt show up for his court hearing 2 years ago after claiming “asylum”.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

What I would support is some kind of government program to get older Trump supporters on some kind of anxiety medication.

I think it should be given to all the liberals because it’s day 3 and they still can’t calm down about No collusion being found. Xanax perhaps.

The result will be to reduce their fear of foreign people while at the same time saving a ton of money by not building a wall.

If the foreign people are legal, they won’t need any medication, for the open borders Democrats, no amount of medication can help these people.
