Enough with N. Korea firing an ICBM. If N. Korea has indeed built an ICBM, why aren't these test launches splashing down in the Mid-Pacific instead of the Sea of Japan? Wouldn't that be a bit more convincing than wasting a very expensive, supposedly multi-stage missile by test launching it a few hundred miles? That's the ballistic equivalent of throwing a rock in a pond but telling everyone you could have hit the third window from the right corner on the first floor of that building four blocks down the street.

A sick puppy?.... isn't that a rather childish comment from a supposed world leader??

18 ( +24 / -6 )

Meanwhile, America is run by a sick puppet.

18 ( +25 / -7 )

I am pretty sure NK will translate this to "diseased dog." For those who miss "proper" presidential talk:

"We are disappointed that Kim continues to provoke the global community." Better?

5 ( +9 / -4 )

Sick, yes. He’s morbidly obese. Plus the brain thingy. Puppy, hell no, they’re lovable.

7 ( +12 / -5 )

Like Alisrair above has pointed out, Trump is nothing more than a puppy of the real leaders of the states inc. Problem is he is sick puppy with little to no self control but his fingers are on a big red button, scary world!

3 ( +9 / -6 )

What "relationship" with China? Trump has thrown the State Department into the toilet, and China and Russia rule the entire game now. As Trump tweets anti-Muslim hate, America's enemies howl with laughter at our rapid demise.

7 ( +11 / -4 )

Sometimes I think both of these puppies need muzzling!

19 ( +20 / -1 )

Wouldn't this be the perfect time to retweet three anti-Islamic videos from a foreign far-right political leader?

10 ( +11 / -1 )

Kind of funny that Kim seems to have an 80 year old Korean-English dictionary and Trump has the vocabulary of a 5th grader. This is adding a surrealistic effect to an otherwise very serious international crisis.

Meantime; while Mr Moon is clear about what he DOESN'T want, so what exactly does he suggest? He tried to get Kim to talk to him and got ignored.

"We must stop a situation where North Korea miscalculates and threatens us with nuclear weapons or where the United States considers a pre-emptive strike."

3 ( +6 / -3 )

The American response so far has been good; ratcheting up sanctions further and demanding China cut all ties to NK. If China refuses, we know where they lie when it comes to nuking the American mainland.

NK now has the ability to strike any American city without warning, a red line that we have all expected since the start of this year. Whether they can mount a thermo nuke on their missiles or we wait another year to find out is the question of our time

-3 ( +5 / -8 )

If I recall Kim is fluent in English as he got educated Europe. Ooops, forgot European/British English Vs American?

But none knows his mind as he don't even give interviews.

-7 ( +2 / -9 )

Trump has finally put himself beyond the pale by retweeting anti-Muslim videos originally posted by the deputy leader of a British far-right, race-hate group called Britain First.

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2017/nov/29/trump-account-retweets-anti-muslim-videos-of-british-far-right-leader

He's outed himself. The last thing Britain needs right now is Trump-style media-generated far-right legitimisation. Sadly, Steve Bannon is coming to Tokyo in December to promote American-style extreme right wing race-hate in this country as well. It's an absolute nightmare.

7 ( +11 / -4 )

Another sick burn by the Donald...

while Mr Moon is clear about what he DOESN'T want, so what exactly does he suggest?

Actually I've been wondering the same thing about other leaders for weeks.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

@jeff H

" Wouldn't that be a bit more convincing than wasting a very expensive, supposedly multi-stage missile by test launching it a few hundred miles? "

True. But maybe they couldn't afford to fill the tank up? All these supposed "sanctions" an all.

-4 ( +2 / -6 )

Again, Im no fan of Trump and again I don't think he helps but lets not forget NK is going out of its way to start a fight at the expense of its own people.

It is a human rights abusing dictatorship which is in no uncertain terms threatening countries all around the world in a very real way. This shouldn't be tolerated by Japan, South Korea, US or China and Russia as NK is driving towards a conflict they can not win but will have untold humanitarian impact.

I have team members in South Korea in Seoul and despite the fact they have become somewhat used to the nutter up north they are well aware Seoul would suffer immensely if anything should happen.

The NK leadership could work towards discussion and claim victory internally (as they are a human rights abusing information controlling dictatorship) if they simply call their tests successful and declare they are "ready for anything" while stopping further tests and getting now with the business of making the country less of a relic from the 1940s but instead want to push this to the point of no return.

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

sick puppy? It takes one to know one.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Wouldn't this be the perfect time to tie the North Korean crisis into an alleged plot by the Democratic Party to hamstring the American military - which has seen a 50% increase in funding since 9/11 - so as to explain their inability to pass a budget?

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Trump has thrown the State Department into the toilet, and China and Russia rule the entire game now. As Trump tweets anti-Muslim hate, America's enemies howl with laughter at our rapid demise.

Maybe if the USA didn't see every slightly strong rival as an enemy, they would better off. Hint: North Korea is an enemy. China and Russia are rivals. And the State Department is mostly incompetent. Always have been.

1 ( +5 / -4 )

Trump will declare war against NK within the next two weeks, at least to distract from the failure of his presidency and help heal his shattered ego. Get your energency supplies ready. You heard it here first!

-3 ( +5 / -8 )

And Trump's war with NK will be the start of WWIII.

-2 ( +5 / -7 )

What is left to sanction?

"Meantime; while Mr Moon is clear about what he DOESN'T want, so what exactly does he suggest? He tried to get Kim to talk to him and got ignored."

That's because he's a die hard nationalist, what NK is doing is an achievement in his perspective, he's probably cheering now, secretly of couese. Occasionally SK had pro Japan/West leaders but they all ended up being throw into prison or under constant harassing, such as Lee Myung-bak and Park Geun-hye.

The United States is being played by both sides. Abe is also an idiot in this game. I'm just glad at least China still holds the leash to prevent the unifications of two Korea.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

ICBM shot vs pot shot. Nice.

Surely Kim has to be Time's 'Person of the Year' based on their criteria that it be a person who most influences the world.

the missile was shot intentionaly with a roughly 90 degree angle so that it wouldn't traverse across japan or the US. but judging by the durartion of the missile (i believe it was about 50 minutes), physicists have determined that it would have reached mar-a-lago if it were shot at a normal tracjectory.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

trump is totally being played by china. china has not, and will never support any type the major sanctions that the US proposes. BECAUSE they don't want more NKs flooding across their borders. but they pay lip service to trump and compliment his small hands so trump is happy.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

Jeff, I believe that if the ICBM were angled toward the US, it could reach parts of the United States. They angle it almost straight up and calculate the distance on how high it goes then use those numbers to calculate which parts of the world it could reach.

Regards my posts above, US guys at the office just told me that Trump cannot declare war, but only the US congress can declare war. Since the US congress has not allowed Trump to do anything at all, I guess we may be OK.

That's pretty much our last hope - that the system of checks and balances actually work.

Maybe. But perhaps you can mention to the guys in your office that;

"President Clinton sent missiles into the Sudan and Afghanistan without asking Congress and more broadly took part in the campaign in Kosovo, while President Reagan hit Libya with air strikes and deployed troops to Grenada." Additionally, in 2011 Obama did not have Congressional approval to commit US forces to a Nato strike on Libya.

More to the point, Trump certainly did not seek Congressional approval to fire cruise missiles into Syria. He can certainly do the same targeting NK launch sites, and the moment NK strike back, or even attempt to do so, Congress will authorize war.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

What is left to sanction?

Cash remittances from Chongryun in Japan, and Korean gangs in western nations.

Mass migrant labor in Siberia, state run girly bars in SEA, to name a few.

Rocket Man does kill his political opponents by obliterating them with an anti-aircraft gun. That pretty much qualifies him as a sick puppy.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

Little Rocket man IS a sick puppy, he constantly threatens to blow up the U.S. The NK regime has been talking like this for 25 plus years..... Enough is enough. Trump is only standing up for the U.S., unlike the previous administrations.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Perhaps the next step is a full land, air & sea blockade of NKorea!!!

But that is one SERIOUS step......

Here's hoping China ACTUALLY decide to help instead of all these tiny winy baby slaps to NK!!

1 ( +2 / -1 )

NK has already stated that their “red line” is a complete oil embargo.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

A few hundred miles sideways perhaps, but 9,000 km all the way up and then all the way back down again... It also proves their accuracy, by landing in just the right spot in the sea off Japan, where Japanese fishermen now fear to venture.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

@GW Here's hoping China ACTUALLY decide to help instead of all these tiny winy baby slaps to NK!!

And hopefully India, Pakistan, Thailand, and the Philippines will stop trading with North Korea.

And of course Russia, too.

Interesting. I wonder if Mr Moon understands what North Korea will do to the leaders of South Korea after they take over. He should seriously think about how Kim handled his uncle.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

There is a part of me that agrees with Trump on this....but again....what the heck?! That type of Tweet is certainly not how a President should be acting.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

@ OssanAmerica Now I'm worried again...

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Distance between Pyongyang, North Korea and Los Angeles, California, USA 9569 km = 5946 miles. Missile was rated at 13,000 km, so it's now within the zone of the USA. They shot it up to get attention and confirm that a flatter trajectory would reach. Confirmed.

Foreign Affairs Canada, USA and 16 others who participated in the Korean War plus Japan SK and China are to meet in Canada for diplomatic options. It's not likely to take place until next year though. Let's hope it's in time (http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/canada-to-co-host-meeting-on-north-korea-crisis-1.4423855)

means NK now has the warhead reentry technologies, which is the hardest part of ICBM. However it begs to ask how the hell can such a poverty state under a million of sanctions manufacture the advanced materials. The sanctions are a giant joke.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

The biggest risk to a developed country is not a direct nuclear strike but a Nuclear EMP or High Altitude EMP which would be catastrophic to the infrastructure. This would not only render high voltage equipment inoperable but it would also render the SCADA control systems inoperable. What makes matters worse for the U.S. is much of the critical high voltage equipment for the transmission and distribution system is no longer made in the U.S.

An EMP strike does not require a high level of accuracy; launch and ICBM with a nuclear warhead and detonate a few hundred miles above the earth's surface.

A very real and legitimate concern. I was never a huge fan of Newt Gingrich but one thing he did to right was to try to raise awareness of these risks.

0 ( +3 / -3 )

If I am Abe I will do exactly that: - C'mon you two naughty kids, stop BS confrontation! I'll bring a table to you talk and I'll put this peacemaker manual in the center of the table, ok!

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

This country is all about extortion and it has a horrible record of dealing with their citizens who don't adhere to party rules. The average North Korean would welcome working in a factory making products like the rest of Eastern Asia has embraced. It's time to drop some heavy ordinance on the rocket boy and make North Korea a free democracy and not a dictatorship.

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Takes one to know one, and Trump most certainly leads the pack in terms of sick individuals in office... well, him and Duterte (who admire each other).

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

A perfect storm brewing for war. We have Trump at the helm in the U.S. We have Passive South Korean leader. In the North of the Korea's, a young lunatic being potentially coerced by his Generals to stand his ground as the Dear Leader.  We can debate the missile trajectory all day. DPRK is a Nuclear regime. DPRK is in the game with yesterdays launch. Got to respect it for what it is. Pray for diplomacy. All way of life will change if war breaks out in the Korea's. Dangerous and nerve wracking times we are living in. I hope the DPRK will come to the table and talk peace.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Trump has two choices. Attack before the heavy snow or after. US forces will lose in snow.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

There will be no war

I don't know why people insist on getting excited and terrified

Its a classic stalemate through mutually assured destruction

The only real result at this stage is the North Korean people moving further and further into abject poverty.

The hope is clearly an internal rebellion initiated by a sizable enough proportion of the N.K military.

If that doesn't eventuate, this situation will go on for years and years.

Much like it already has.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Its a classic stalemate through mutually assured destruction

One would hope (and I most certainly do).

But the problem is that we have a dictator with bad hair and an unreasonable ego. And then there is Kim.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Who blinked?

Kim: didn't blink

Trump: turned away and looked in the fast-becoming-empty sanctions box, again.

Xi: didn't even look, but maybe got some one around him to check what was going on

2 ( +3 / -1 )

The threat isn't from Kim as he would never jeopardize his position. If he attacked the US or one of its allies, it would be game over for the DPRK. Full stop. The real threat is from the US thinking its only choice is a military confrontation, which we can see it inching closer to thinking. The evidence of this is the comments from Senator Graham and Ambassador Haley.

Considering the US government was able to get its populace behind a "pre-emptive" invasion of Iraq on trumped up intelligence, that the world is witnessing the DPRK's advances in atomic and missile technology does not bode well.

Yes, it is a bit hysterical to claim the DPRK is a threat to any country. However, that does not mean we shouldn't be very concerned about the prospects of a war.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

time for Kim to lob a few over to Japan just like so many commenters say should be done to DPRK

see how you like it...

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Trump has been ineffective regarding the North Korean issue.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Exactly the opposite to Abe, his main purpose at that last election was to be effective to NK and he won! I'm feeling sick this gap!

0 ( +0 / -0 )

A sick puppy?.... isn't that a rather childish comment from a supposed world leader??

Would you have preferred him saying “sick gentleman?”

The threat isn't from Kim as he would never jeopardize his position. If he attacked the US or one of its allies,

Which is his goal and you have to be from a different dimension to think his goal as anything other than to have military leverage over the US. 4 years ago, they didn’t even come close to this and now all they have to do is perfect their rentry phase of the missile and its game over and thank God we now have a president that might use a preemptive strike and at least he listens to his senior military advisors unlike the previous president that thought capitulation is the answer.

it would be game over for the DPRK. Full stop. The real threat is from the US thinking its only choice is a military confrontation, which we can see it inching closer to thinking. The evidence of this is the comments from Senator Graham and Ambassador Haley.

As Rex Tillerson repeated over and over again (why, oh, why the left have to always panic?) that military option would be the last choice, but diplomacy doesn’t mean anything if it’s not backed up by military force.

Considering the US government was able to get its populace behind a "pre-emptive" invasion of Iraq on trumped up intelligence, that the world is witnessing the DPRK's advances in atomic and missile technology does not bode well.

This is an entirely different scenario, lot of mistakes were made and a lot was learned from those mistakes.

Yes, it is a bit hysterical to claim the DPRK is a threat to any country. However, that does not mean we shouldn't be very concerned about the prospects of a war.

Thank God the left isn’t in charge anymore, that’s all I can say.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

A sick puppy?.... isn't that a rather childish comment from a supposed world leader??

Would you have preferred him saying “sick gentleman?”

No, we would rather Trump had not sank to the level of a tin-pot dictator. There is absolutely no good that can come of Trump mouthing off in such a manner. If you thing there is a benefit to Trump acting like a seven year old, please explain in detail.

Which is his goal and you have to be from a different dimension to think his goal as anything other than to have military leverage over the US.

Kim's goal is to have a deterrent against US aggression, thusly ensuring he retains his position of power. His goal is not to actually strike the US as that would result in his complete and utter annihilation.

thank God we now have a president that might use a preemptive strike and at least he listens to his senior military advisors unlike the previous president that thought capitulation is the answer.

We all know you have an unhealthy hate for President Obama, but you are going to have to provide evidence that he did not listen to his senior military advisors. It's odd that you think Trump listens to his senior military advisors when he is on record as saying he knows more than the generals, and he has a long and verifiable history of not listening to anyone.

As Rex Tillerson repeated over and over again (why, oh, why the left have to always panic?) that military option would be the last choice,

I agree that Tillerson has repeated that a military option is that last choice. However, the evidence is there that diplomacy is not being seriously pursued. Trump declared Tillerson was "wasting his time" attempting diplomacy.

but diplomacy doesn’t mean anything if it’s not backed up by military force.*

This is a nonsensical statement. You are saying that diplomacy only works if military force is used, which means diplomacy has failed. Anyway, you completely missed my point. My point is that the US is inching closer to using military force against the DPRK because the US is not seriously pursuing diplomacy, and that is the true threat in all of this.

This is an entirely different scenario, lot of mistakes were made and a lot was learned from those mistakes.

Yes, it is an entirely different scenario, which was exactly my point. The difference is the actions of the DPRK are on display for the entire world to see, whereas the invasion of Iraq was based on intelligence that was not on display for most people to see. Since the DPRK's actions are on display, a pre-emptive strike will be an easier sell to the American public.

Thank God the left isn’t in charge anymore, that’s all I can say.

Your hatred for the left clouds your ability to comprehend many things, such as point of my post you commented on. I hope I have explained my point in a manner that you can understand through that fog of hate.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

So, where will this all go to ?

Both Russia and China will unlikely take sanctions further - though faced with a Nuclear War, they may capitulate, but in that case, it wouldn't be without consequence for the US. And Trump appears to have nothing to lose in going Nuclear with North Korea, so....

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Action speaks louder than words. He could also demonstrates that whenever he fires one up in the air, it can be intercepted.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

Guess he wouldn’t be “honored” to meet Kim now.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Name-calling is so juvenile -- a sign of low intelligence.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

nakanoguy01Nov. 30  09:30 am JST the missile was shot intentionaly with a roughly 90 degree angle so that it wouldn't traverse across japan or the US.

N. Korea has launched more than half-a-dozen missiles that have violated Japanese airspace or entered its territorial waters. Until they launch one that splashes thousands of miles away from N. Korea, it's nothing but speculation about the true range. The fact that they haven't done this indicates that they can't.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

No, we would rather Trump had not sank to the level of a tin-pot dictator. There is absolutely no good that can come of Trump mouthing off in such a manner. If you thing there is a benefit to Trump acting like a seven year old, please explain in detail.

Ok, that’s your opinion, I understand, but there are millions of Americans that think differently, me included. It’s a relief to finally have a president that shoves it right in the faces the establishment and totally unapologetic.

Kim's goal is to have a deterrent against US aggression, thusly ensuring he retains his position of power. His goal is not to actually strike the US as that would result in his complete and utter annihilation.

No, his goal is to acquire nukes not to only use a deterrent, but he is also using it as leverage to force the US to leave the Korean Peninsula in there by absorbing South Korea and turning it into one giant DPRK, if that happens then all Hells going to break loose, so at this point we can’t take a chance and at least we have a president that is willing to use military force. Diplomacy doesn’t mean anything unless it’s backed up at military force.

Oh, where to start, the last administration have a policy of non-engagement in route wanted to engage the enemy in Afghanistan, Iraq, Yemen where so many generals complained and the former president did not and would not allow the military to fully engage the enemy and when the Russians were flying their airplanes so close next to our cruisers as a show of defiance we we were not allowed to do anything, we were not allowed to properly define the enemy engagement rules of war were convoluted and not clear and the soldiers could not meet their objectives.

And here we are.

I agree that Tillerson has repeated that a military option is that last choice. However, the evidence is there that diplomacy is not being seriously pursued. Trump declared Tillerson was "wasting his time" attempting diplomacy.

You always want to take the route of the diplomatic policy first, always and that’s what the president wants as well, but we don’t have that kind of time anymore, time is running out and very fast. And if you think the president is going to make the choice between the lives of Americans on the lives of South Koreans in Japanese I think you know where he stands, so this needs to stop as soon as possible.

My point is that the US is inching closer to using military force against the DPRK because the US is not seriously pursuing diplomacy, and that is the true threat in all of this.

Don’t give me that garbage! We have been negotiating with them for over 25 years and each time they are getting closer and closer to their goal and we look more and more like idiots take everything and we get nothing. The presidents right, this entire PC correct liberal just talk, talk and more talk leads to nothing either we stop them or they will preemptively strike at us, that’s for sure.

Since the DPRK's actions are on display, a pre-emptive strike will be an easier sell to the American public.

And a valid one as well.

Your hatred for the left clouds your ability to comprehend many things, such as point of my post you commented on. I hope I have explained my point in a manner that you can understand through that fog of hate.

No it doesn’t, I don’t hate the left because their liberal, I just dislike the policies mostly overall, because they are almost always failed policies. I’m not an emotional person and I never, ever allow my emotions to override my sense of right and wrong and logic, I can see the writing on the wall I kind of felt weird election was going last year I could see the game set by the left and I see how those games hurt them Time after time after time. They are the ones that get emotional that cannot control themselves or their language have to use anger, their emotions, and disinformation to try and get their points across and it hasn’t been working for a very long time.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

Bass: They are the ones that get emotional that cannot control themselves or their language have to use anger, their emotions, and disinformation to try and get their points across and it hasn’t been working for a very long time.

How is this:

It’s a relief to finally have a president that shoves it right in the faces the establishment and totally unapologetic.

even remotely related to this:

No, we would rather Trump had not sank to the level of a tin-pot dictator. There is absolutely no good that can come of Trump mouthing off in such a manner. If you thing there is a benefit to Trump acting like a seven year old, please explain in detail.

?

We were discussing Trump flinging childish insults at Kim, but you decided to twist it into Trump giving the finger to the establishment. Clever.

No, his goal is to acquire nukes not to only use a deterrent, but he is also using it as leverage to force the US to leave the Korean Peninsula

Incorrect. Kim has repeatedly stated that his goal of obtaining nuclear weapons is to deter possible US aggression. Keep twisting that truth, if it makes you feel better. However, it won't make your take correct.

Oh, where to start, the last administration . . .

Without cites, this is simply your opinion. Given your clear hatred for President Obama, your opinion of his administration lacks credibility.

You always want to take the route of the diplomatic policy first, always and that’s what the president wants as well,

Is that why Trump declared that Tillerson was "wasting his time" attempting diplomacy? Does it help diplomatic efforts to sling childish insults?

but we don’t have that kind of time anymore, time is running out and very fast.

And statements like this support my point that the threat is from the US starting a war.

And if you think the president is going to make the choice between the lives of Americans on the lives of South Koreans in Japanese I think you know where he stands, so this needs to stop as soon as possible.

If the US attacks the DPRK, it is guaranteed that American, South Korean, and Japanese lives will be lost.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

If you watch the speech, it’s clear that Trump said “sick puppy” in a joking manner. Like the time Bush said, “Saddam is an evil man, he tried to kill my dad.”

Both inappropriate, but nothing to freak out about like the news has been doing.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

I understand, but there are millions of Americans that think differently, me included. It’s a relief to finally have a liberal base that shoves it right in the faces the President and is totally unapologetic.

Yeah and the more they do, the more they keep losing, win elections in Red States and we can continue the conversation, until then, enjoy the ride.

Incorrect. Kim has repeatedly stated that his goal of obtaining nuclear weapons is to deter possible US aggression. Keep twisting that truth, if it makes you feel better. However, it won't make your take correct.

Yes and once he acquires them, he would threaten the US to withdraw from the entire Korean Peninsula and would finally have the power to threaten the South, retake it and absorb them and creating a unified DPRK with Lil’ Kim at the helm, a very frightening and very realistic scenario.

Without cites, this is simply your opinion. Given your clear hatred for President Obama, your opinion of his administration lacks credibility.

I always do and then I always hear from the whiny left, it’s not true. Look, I don’t have time go around the mulberry bush. Virtually almost all military branches are happy that the last 8 years are over. I live about 45 min. from Camp Pendleton the morale and how the troops talk, the conversations I hear at diners by a lot of people that are in the military is different from the last 8 years were more negative and a lot more anger.

Is that why Trump declared that Tillerson was "wasting his time" attempting diplomacy? Does it help diplomatic efforts to sling childish insults?

The President can say what he wants, Kim says what he wants, the important thing is what happens behind the scenes, things we don’t see, nor need to see or know what goes on through the back channels. But there are a lot of Generals that do agree, talking is reaching its maximum point and time is running out, even if Dems don’t get it, want to get it or think they are “better” than that, whatever that means, the fact is, once Kim has perfected his nukes reentry capabilities, then we are all screwed and I don’t think the Pentagon or the president will ever allow that to happen.

And statements like this support my point that the threat is from the US starting a war.

I understand, that’s your opinion, I have a totally different opinion, I’m for taking any and every measures that will ensure the safety of my country and whatever option the President and his Generals in the Pentagon decide. All I can say is, thank God for Mattis.

If the US attacks the DPRK, it is guaranteed that American, South Korean, and Japanese lives will be lost.

Yes, that’s the price of war. I’ve been to Iraq, I know first hand and I’ve lost friends and family members, so I know the consequences of war and so do the men and women that join the armed services. I too, knew the risks going to Iraq about the Kidnappings and the beheading of Nick Berg, but that’s the price we pay with war. I made a choice and the men and the men and women of the armed forces made a choice.

Yes and once he acquires them, he would threaten the US to withdraw from the entire Korean Peninsula and would finally have the power to threaten the South, retake it and absorb them and creating a unified DPRK with Lil’ Kim at the helm

Where's your evidence?

I always do and then I always hear from the whiny left, it’s not true.

I've been reading your posts for quite sometime and you always claim to have evidence/cites, but never provide them. This leads to the logical inference that you do not have any evidence or cites.

Look, I don’t have time go around the mulberry bush.

Take a bit of time away from posting here.

Virtually almost all military branches are happy that the last 8 years are over.

Where's your evidence?

I live about 45 min. from Camp Pendleton the morale and how the troops talk, the conversations I hear at diners by a lot of people that are in the military is different from the last 8 years were more negative and a lot more anger.

Back in May in an article about a natural disaster, you claimed to live in Fukuoka. More recently, you claimed to live in Texas. Now you are claiming to live in California. Someone's not being truthful, which means there is no point engaging you anymore.
