All of what Trump wants say is that the Caucasian Americans are victims of other races, including the Latinos. But this murder is he really an illegal foreigner in US? If the US govt. of Trump is going further, all the people who is going to US to visit/study/ work/live has to be super-monitored at the immigration entrances? OMG, I don't want to go to this Trump governed country for a while, I'll wait 'til next president will be replaced. My sincere condolences to the family and friends of this beautiful young lady. She seemed to be a person of promise, a caring and giving person, and, obviously, very bright. It is so very tragic that her life had to end so soon at the hands of a person who has no value on a human life.

I've been saying it for so long, but yes the difference between legal and illegal immigration is very important. Yes murders whether by US citizens or immigrants (both legal and illegal) are the same, but many US citizens feel like murder by someone from outside the country is much more preventable if said illegal immigrants are prevented from getting into US in the first place.

I want stronger border security, but I don't believe a wall is going to magically prevent it, short of fully militarizing the border with "trespass under pain of death".

There are those whose circumstances warrant asylum and therefore are granted it. I assume that an asylum “seeker” mentioned above is one whose case has not yet been heard, hence may be held pending a decision. At which time the person is either released or punished. Not before.

People can hide in vehicles, aircraft wheel wells, false papers... even the Berlin Wall was breached sometimes, or circumvented.

And the wall won't miraculously end murders... there are plenty of American citz prepared to kill their countrymen for drugs, out of boredom, insanity, over who will play Aretha in a movie... there will always be ways to get guns into America... you love the things after all... gangs? I didn’t and never said he should face the death penalty. Life without the possibility of parole in a 23 hour lockdown in solitary confinement will do just fine. That would equally suffice.

Most definitely. The left claim they are for border safety and yet, do nothing to safeguard the country along our open borders. The Democrats have been playing this game since Regan was President.
