Why?

Because it was done by Obama. That's it.

6 ( +11 / -5 )

Why does Paul Ryan want to keep it?

6 ( +7 / -1 )

What about the millions of American kids that have no clothes or live in the streets and in poverty? The heck with them?

That's a straw man argument. It has nothing to do with the dreamers. You consistently go in a different direction and topic as a means to deflect the issue. It's so Republican. It's nonsensical and a fallacy of logic.

Oh wait, not all the Republicans, like Hatch and Ryan, support Trump, so it isn't Republican as much as just some who continue to support a bigoted racist, no matter how wrong he may be.

The hypocrisy to be a Trump supporter and actually believe he cares for people in need, and then use them, for an argument against the dreamers that suits your narrative, is a complete and total joke.

6 ( +10 / -4 )

It was done by Obama, not the legally proper way which is legislatively through Congress.

Does it matter ? Trump already terminated multiple Obama-era policies because it was from Obama. This time is no different.

5 ( +8 / -3 )

How is is he a racist?

He was sued and settled for housing discrimination against blacks. And he just pardoned a sheriff who was caught violating the civil rights of Latinos. And he spreads fake news about Muslims cheering on 9/11 to promote a negative, but fake, image.

As long as Trump fans continue to be distracted attacking minorities and immigrants the less they will see how trickle down economics has hurt them. Just in time for more tax cuts for the rich.

Oh, and over 40% of Republicans and 45% of Trump supporters feel whites face more discrimination than blacks. It helps to put their inclusion of white supremacist ideals into perspective.

4 ( +8 / -4 )

What utter baloney! The fault lies squarely with Congress (obstructionist Republican mostly). They failed before and Obama picked up the ball. And yes that could only ever have been a stop gap solution. Trump's dropping it. Congress, again, should pick it up now.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

The fault for all of this lies with the parents who illegally entered and/or illegally stayed in the USA. Doesn't matter where they are from. The parents caused this. The parents risked the futures of their children.

Either we are "a nation of laws and not of men" or not. 1 man made an executive order because a law wasn't possible. That is wrong. This applies to all sides, except in extreme emergencies until a law can be passed through Congress.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

Why?

I don't have the time or patience to feed consistency non sequitur, whataboutist responses.

The fault for all of this lies with the parents who illegally entered and/or illegally stayed in the USA

Try and follow. We're talking about the fault for not finding a solution to address the situation these dreamers are in, not who's at fault for putting them in that situation. We can all cast stones at their parents does nothing to address the issue. Congress could/should do that (inane and irrelevant asides about their level of popularity not withstanding)

As for EO's... ah, heck, just look it up. You guys didn't have a problem before Obama and haven't had a problem since.

so, what's your solution? Screw them for being in the situation they're in? Congress needs to get its act together and find a reasonable solution.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

*The fault for all of this lies with the parents who illegally entered and/or illegally stayed in the USA. Doesn't matter where they are from. The parents caused this. The parents risked the futures of their children.*

__

And the kids risked the futures of their parents by coming clean. They most likely wouldn't be facing deportation had the entire family stayed in the shadows.

Where you there? Lawyers and witnesses lie all the time

Defending racist actions with "maybe everyone in the case lied"? Alrighty.

You asked for evidence of racism and I gave it. He was found to discriminate against blacks and had to settle with stipulations that he make changes to his business practices. Your entire defense is "well maybe Trump is a great guy and the lawyers and witnesses all lied" with no supporting evidence. That shows how far you will go to defense a racist.

Because [Arpaio] was doing his job, that makes him a racist

In the previous thread you openly stated it was OK for Arpaio to break the law as long as he was doing it to catch illegals, and even if lawful Latinos were collateral damage.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

In Phoenix: "I love everybody."

Today: "But I make an exception with you."

1 ( +1 / -0 )

As always, the GOP faces a dilemma: how to harm enough helpless, innocent people to placate its base, without waking everyone else up.

0 ( +9 / -9 )

Now the Congress has six months to show that it can be, or at least appear to be, a legitimate, functioning governing body. The ball is their court now, where it should have been all along. Let's see if they are up to the task. I assume that these legislators were elected on their promises to serve their constituents through legislative action. So maybe it's time to get down to business.

It should be interesting and hopefully not too discouraging to watch. There might even be some surprises. Nancy Pelosi stated in a recent Denver Post interview that Democrats shouldn't fall into the trap of constantly criticizing Trump, she went on to say that voters didn't want to hear it and the Democrats should focus on the message of what they (the Democrats) are doing for them (the voters). Maybe the toning down of the rhetoric will help the Congress concentrate more on doing their jobs and less on serving a particular party agenda.

0 ( +2 / -2 )

Utter disgrace.

How does this benefit the average Joe in Dogpoop, Nebraska?

Why do it?

0 ( +5 / -5 )

To show that immigration law exists for a reason. To show people who legally immigrated that illegals dont get special treatment over those who did all the paperwork, paid all the money and waited their turn in the queue. To free up 800,000 jobs or vacancies in colleges to American citizens and children, who also have the right to 'dream'.

To prevent these 800,000 Dreamers from sponsoring all of their extended families once they are legal, then we have 3-5 million more unplanned people using our social services. To prevent a new group of Dreamer's parents from doing the same today hoping that in 15-20 years they too will get some type of DACA.

How it is an utter disgrace that illegals are told to leave? It was called the DEFERRED ACA so now the time is up, as this cannot be deferred any longer by law. The alternative is that this is found unconstitutional and all are deported by law. So at Trump is allowing Congress to do something that is legally acceptable if they want.

He could just let the courts handle this and say nothing. Its not his problem, its Obama's mess that he has to clean up.

0 ( +5 / -5 )

Yeah they wouldn't be facing deportation now but they probably wouldn't have gotten free college and other benefits or been hired to work at Apple either. Time to go back and contribute in the country of their birth?

The majority are low skilled workers that played fair and square by the rules that were in effect at the time. And they shouldn't be punished for that.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Again, you and I weren't there, there are always two sides of a story.

I'm sure Trump's lawyers did a good job of presenting his. And Mr. "I never settle" decided to settle.

Doesnt make him a racist.

And this is part of the growing divide in this country. We have an owner refusing to rent to blacks because of the color of their skin, and a percentage of the population looks at that and sees no racism. It reminds me of this guy....wild look in his eye, torch in hand, standing with white supremacists: https://media3.s-nbcnews.com/j/newscms/2017_33/2119681/gettyimages-830617832_4ffeeb05c91503bdafae3c9881220d5d.nbcnews-ux-2880-1000.jpg. His first comments after being outed? "I'm not racist, I just want to protect our white culture."

So, I personally don't think what he did to stop illegal aliens from entering the country was wrong

I know. I asked, "Your position is that you want law enforcement to break laws as long as they are going after illegals?" and your response was, "in this case, yes" and following it up with, "it's better that the Sheriff take matters into his own hands."

It shows a pattern of excusing and supporting racist behavior. We need to make sure the mob mentality doesn't take over the DREAMer issue and lead us to bad decisions that needlessly destroy lives. Trump hasn't shown his ability to do that so putting their lives in his hands worries me. These are people who were essentially smuggled into the US through no fault of their own, and we have a racist in chief calling the shots with tiki burning "I'm not racist" supporters behind him.

What could go wrong?

0 ( +2 / -2 )

bass: Settling out of court doesn't determine whether a person is guilty or innocent. But when you have a lot of money, it does makes you an easy target.

So on one side we have an investigation. We have secret shoppers dealing directly with the property agents. We have Trump's staff testifying that they broke the rules. And your response is, "Uh...you didn't personally witness this....uh....maybe the lawyers and judge were bribed....and...uh...maybe all of the witnesses lied....and...uh...paying a settlement doesn't prove guilt." That's how far you'll go to defend a white guy from claims of racism. No evidence? No problem.

In addition to what Trump has done that I mentioned before, let's not forget his totally baseless claim of millions of illegals voting for Clinton. Complete #fakenews. No evidence whatsoever on any level from anyone that a shred of his accusation was even true. It was straight up propaganda to increase the fear people like you have over immigrants. With that fear comes easy acceptance of bad policy.

Given his past, you don't think a healthy dose of skepticism is reasonable when looking at Trump's DREAMer policies?

0 ( +1 / -1 )

The parents of illegal aliens brought to the US when they were under aged are to blame for their plight. Not Congress, not Obama, not Trump, nor the Border Patrol - only their parents.

I am not against giving them amnesty. But only in exchange for a complete overhaul of immigration laws to focus on US employment needs, the wall, and the deportation of their parents, and no citizenship. This is a win win solution. Republicans get their respect for the rule of law and compassion for the Dreamers. Dems get nearly a million new voters and a lock on the White House for a generation.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

I am aware that Japan does things differently. But Japan has a much smaller immigrant population. Over here there are close to million young people who were brought here as babies or very small children, who are good members of society, and who are not able to go back to the countries from which they came without causing them great harm. Much less harm is done by letting them have a practical path to citizenship, than is done by sending them to countries where in many cases they do not speak the language and for which they are very much unprepared. Not only is it cruel to the young people, but in most cases these young people would make model citizens, so making it easier for them to become citizens is a win-win situation.

The only problem is with the unthinking racists who hate all minorities. I am reminded that Trump's own father was arrested for violent behavior at a KKK rally.

0 ( +1 / -1 )

Yes "the government" is evil. Who was in charge of "the government" at the time that these illegals were told by "the government" that it was in their best interest to provide all the information that proves they are illegal?

Who screwed these people over by forgetting the he wouldn't be President forever and signing an executive order promising people something that the legislative branch had been declining to make law for last 15 years? hint: it wasn't Trump

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

Representative Steve King, a hawk on immigration and Iowa Republican, tweeted his opposition to the plan on Sunday night.

It would be nice if Thomson Reuters could discover their gonads and call Steve King what he is. He is not an immigration hawk. He's a white supremacist bigot, and an incompetent one to boot.

A panelist from Esquire magazine suggested that the 2016 convention could be the last in which "old white people would command the Republican Party's attention," to which King responded, "This whole 'old white people' business does get a little tired, Charlie. I'd ask you to go back through history and figure out where are these contributions that have been made by these other categories of people that you are talking about? Where did any other subgroup of people contribute more to civilization?"

In August 2015, King was named the least effective member of Congress by InsideGov due to his persistent failures to get legislation out of committee.[30]

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Defending racist actions with "maybe everyone in the case lied"? Alrighty.

Again, you and I weren't there, there are always two sides of a story.

You asked for evidence of racism and I gave it.

I also gave you two where he's not.

He was found to discriminate against blacks and had to settle with stipulations that he make changes to his business practices.

Doesnt make him a racist. Frank Lucas was one of the most prolific and most powerful Black gangster in that area and notorious for flooding NYC with Heroin. He had thousands of associates and had thousands of people hooked on that garbage and Trump having property in NYC and was warned by the drug epidemic and crime by his father, but he still went and tried his hand in the real estate business and noticed a lot of Lucas's customers shaking up in apartments slamming dope. So I don't blame Trump for not wanting his property to be overrun by the mafia and Attics, but how do they get past it to make a legitimate lawsuit, claim racism.

Always works for the left.

Your entire defense is "well maybe Trump is a great guy and the lawyers and witnesses all lied" with no supporting evidence. That shows how far you will go to defense a racist.

Ok, but I don't believe so, anymore than you believe Senator Byrd was one.

Because [Arpaio] was doing his job, that makes him a racist.

In the previous thread you openly stated it was OK for Arpaio to break the law as long as he was doing it to catch illegals, and even if lawful Latinos were collateral damage.

What I meant was, the liberals made all kinds of lame laws, like allowing illegal aliens to have drivers licenses. What kind of law is that? So, I personally don't think what he did to stop illegal aliens from entering the country was wrong, for the left, perhaps, but not for people that value, safety, secure borders and people following the rule of law.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

I'm sure Trump's lawyers did a good job of presenting his. And Mr. "I never settle" decided to settle.

Settling out of court doesn't determine whether a person is guilty or innocent. But when you have a lot of money, it does makes you an easy target.

And this is part of the growing divide in this country. We have an owner refusing to rent to blacks because of the color of their skin, and a percentage of the population looks at that and sees no racism.

...or we can say a part of the country wants to make everything about race and we never had to deal with this on a giant scale up until 8 years ago. The left have continuously and relentlessly used the race card to create a wedge and a one sided POV to attack anyone on the right, they claim tha they are tolerant, but become racists themselves when they attack all Whites. Again, this is why the left can't make any traction in politics because they wallow in the racist card and accuse everyone that's white a racist and in doing so is the perfect definition of classic racism.

Now Trump trying to secure the borders and deciding whether this kids should stay or not makes him a racist?

You guys.....sigh.

I know. I asked, "Your position is that you want law enforcement to break laws as long as they are going after illegals?" and your response was, "in this case, yes" and following it up with, "it's better that the Sheriff take matters into his own hands."

Yes, since the politicians of Arizona don't want law enforcement to work with ICE.

It shows a pattern of excusing and supporting racist behavior.

It goes both ways.

We need to make sure the mob mentality doesn't take over the DREAMer issue and lead us to bad decisions that needlessly destroy lives.

What about the Dreamers in America that were born here or that followed all the immigration policy procedures and followed all the legal rules? What about the millions of children in this country that live in poor and filthy conditions, live on the streets, dying from gang violence, what about these DREAMERS?

Trump hasn't shown his ability to do that so putting their lives in his hands worries me. These are people who were essentially smuggled into the US through no fault of their own, and we have a racist in chief calling the shots with tiki burning "I'm not racist" supporters behind him.

Honestdictator perfectly encapsulated the entire argument.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

The US has immigration laws and controls already in place, correct? Let's start by enforcing those laws. If you are in the US illegally, nobody cares about your sad, tugging at the heart strings excuses as to why you are in the US illegally. You are arrested, detained and deported.

It's the same thing all other countries does with illegals in their country - Japan included.

Change the loophole law of letting a pregnant woman give birth in the US, and her child is a US citizen. That needs to be swatted down immediately.

And lastly, it annoys me to no end that you have much of these dreamers (and non-dreams, too) who are in the US illegally, which is bad enough, but then they are issued drivers licenses, they attend public schools, apply for grants/scholarships and go to universities/colleges, work, and on and on - things that ultimately are being funds by citizens of the US.

Sorry, not sorry. Can't wait till you are removed, freeloaders.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

So on one side we have an investigation. We have secret shoppers dealing directly with the property agents.

And they don't fabricate or embellish stories? You have got to be kidding me.

We have Trump's staff testifying that they broke the rules.

And prosecutors never pressured or blackmailed people before?

And your response is, "Uh...you didn't personally witness this....uh....maybe the lawyers and judge were bribed....and...uh...maybe all of the witnesses lied....and...uh...paying a settlement doesn't prove guilt." That's how far you'll go to defend a white guy from claims of racism. No evidence? No problem.

Agan, you and I weren't there, so there is no way we concretely know for sure. I'm saying this because my family went through a lawsuit and I won't go into heavy details, but let's just say, the suing party fabricated a long list of accusations that just weren't true in order to get money from my family, they didn't win, but I know for a fact that often lawsuits are down so frivolously and carelessly because lawyers do love to make money, lots of money. So, I'm not jumping in it with both feet.

In addition to what Trump has done that I mentioned before, let's not forget his totally baseless claim of millions of illegals voting for Clinton. Complete #fakenews.

Yeah, the MSM are controlled by liberals, so I'm not buying that narrative at all. Just like when they tried to bury the fact that Comedy was about to exonerate Hillary. Only a a clueless person wouldn't believe it, but the growing up in

California and unless you lived under a rock, everyone knows illegals vote all the time.

No evidence whatsoever on any level from anyone that a shred of his accusation was even true.

More than enough evidence, now liberals do live in an alternate reality world, but the evidence is there, when liberals are confronted with it, they dismiss it, but when they make an argument and show evidence, you just can't dismiss it, because their evidence is always right. LOL

It was straight up propaganda to increase the fear people like you have over immigrants. With that fear comes easy acceptance of bad policy.

I fear No man, but I believe the law is the law and if you don't follow the law, there should be consequences and I put the emotion part to the side and look at the reality, I'm more concerned concerned with Americans and the poor and suffering kids in this country, the country where they were born in and that's the US, that's my first priority.

Given his past, you don't think a healthy dose of skepticism is reasonable when looking at Trump's DREAMer policies?

No, not with how this policy has been abused.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Most of the dreamers have also sat around on their asses for a number of years when they were supposed to be using this time to get themselves legal. But did they? No. Everyone expects America to be this free lottery/meal ticket.

America has a legal path for immigration and to ultimately obtain a visa, green card and citizenship. Everyone in this day and age feels they have the right to cut in line. Laws don't apply to YOU because you say so.

And these idiots protesting with slogans such as there are no illegals. Laughable. But when they go on a trip abroad, do they say the same thing in that foreign land? Of course not, because only America and Americans are stupid enough to debate such a clear cut issue.

If you are in the US illegally - doesn't matter who, what, when, where, how or why. Get deported, come back legally.

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Why?

-2 ( +5 / -7 )

Because it was done by Obama. That's it.

That is right. It was done by Obama, not the legally proper way which is legislatively through Congress. Although I agree with ending the program for new arrivals but the ones that have already come out and been given work permits should be allowed to stay.

-2 ( +7 / -9 )

Yeah they wouldn't be facing deportation now but they probably wouldn't have gotten free college and other benefits or been hired to work at Apple either. Time to go back and contribute in the country of their birth?

people on tv still talking about "young people" and "kids" while the reality is that some of these people are in their 30s already after coming to the US as teenagers.

Thats is how long Congress has had to act and chose not to. Maybe because this is something no one but Obama actually wanted to make a problem out of?

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

He was sued and settled for housing discrimination against blacks.

Where you there? Lawyers and witnesses lie all the time, especially during that time when drugs were out of control in NYC and the mafia pushed it heavily in the Black community and squatting houses became a normal thing. You and I don't know all the details and just because he got hot with a lawsuit not letting in Blacks supposedly doesn't necessarily make him a racist. If Trump were a racist, he wouldn't have a Black spokeswoman or Ben Carson working for him. But then again, if a person like Robert Byrd can renounce his racist past and become a politician a man who was an open and proud racist, then I guess Trump can change as well, if he were a racist or does the left want play the double standards game again.

And he just pardoned a sheriff who was caught violating the civil rights of Latinos. And he spreads fake news about Muslims cheering on 9/11 to promote a negative, but fake, image.

Because he was doing his job, that makes him a racist? Ok, so the sheriff should have just hoped and prayed that the illegal aliens he apprehended were Americans and just let them be the on their way because asking them would be a racist thing. Again, this is why California is such a mess.

As long as Trump fans continue to be distracted attacking minorities and immigrants the less they will see how trickle down economics has hurt them. Just in time for more tax cuts for the rich.

Attacking which minorities? And Trump didn't attack immigrants, he's talking about "illegal aliens" big difference.

Oh, and over 40% of Republicans and 45% of Trump supporters feel whites face more discrimination than blacks. It helps to put their inclusion of white supremacist ideals into perspective.

Where did you get that junk from?

Yeah they wouldn't be facing deportation now but they probably wouldn't have gotten free college and other benefits or been hired to work at Apple either. Time to go back and contribute in the country of their birth?

Seems logical to me.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

I think I've got a solution, kinda... Allow the DACA to remain in place, so only the "children" of the adults that immigrated illegally can stay. But because the adults are the cause of this entire situation, do not allow them or other relatives to be "sponsered" back into the US by their children because they need to understand there will be permanent and severe consequences for their breaking of US law.

Blacklist them so that the adults can visit for xx amount of time at most, but restrict their ability to stay for more than a week/ or two. Or prevent them from coming to the US ever again and allow their DACA children to go visit them south of the border.

Do not enable those who stay illegally in the US to keep doing what they've been doing. Hammer it home that this pattern that has been abused for decades will not be tolerated any more.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Most countries, like Japan, do this. Japan even kicks out kids BORN in Japan. So those Japan residents on this forum taking umbrage at Sessions and Trump should save their breath and look in their own backyard of the place they call home.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

It should be cancelled as it was unconstitutionally implemented without going through the legislative branch.

Where are all the separation of powers and "executive branch can't do that" people for the travel ban uproar?

Let Congress pass something and then they can own their votes about this matter in the 2018 election.

If these people were so key to our economy and so talented that Apple is hiring them why isn't Mexico demanding their citizens back for their own country benefit? This will open up 800,000 jobs for US citizens, including our own "minorities" who should have more opportunities.

-3 ( +7 / -10 )

That's a straw man argument. It has nothing to do with the dreamers.

Because the left doesn't want to hear the truth once again? And they shouldn't be here, especially without their parents. But at least he ended the program, so that's a monumental step in the right direction.

You consistently go in a different direction and topic as a means to deflect the issue. It's so Republican. It's nonsensical and a fallacy of logic.

And you guys as well go in a different direction to deflect from ANY issue that shines a light on liberal hypocrisy.

Oh wait, not all the Republicans, like Hatch and Ryan, support Trump, so it isn't Republican as much as just some who continue to support a bigoted racist, no matter how wrong he may be.

How is is he a racist?

The hypocrisy to be a Trump supporter and actually believe he cares for people in need, and then use them, for an argument against the dreamers that suits your narrative, is a complete and total joke.

Can you prove he doesn't care? Prove it, but please leave the emotional opinions aside.

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

What utter baloney! The fault lies squarely with Congress (obstructionist Republican mostly).

Why?

They failed before and Obama picked up the ball.

And he dropped it, fumbled it and now Trump picked it back up, cut it and killed it.

And yes that could only ever have been a stop gap solution. Trump's dropping it. Congress, again, should pick it up now.

Our Congress? You mean, THE congress with a 15% approval rating? Good luck with that.

The fault for all of this lies with the parents who illegally entered and/or illegally stayed in the USA. Doesn't matter where they are from. The parents caused this. The parents risked the futures of their children.

Exactly and right on point.

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

so it isn't Republican as much as just some who continue to support a bigoted racist, no matter how wrong he may be.

If Trump actually were a 'bigoted racist' wouldnt he just say that Obama's unconstitutional executive order is cancelled by his executive order and all Dreamers out of the USA by the end of the week?

Yet he is allowing a 6 month extension for Congress to work something out if they can and if they want to politically own this issue when its time for their reelection.

-4 ( +4 / -8 )

The fault lies with Obama no doubt, although Trump was certainly sympathetic to the Dreamer cause during the campaign. I am just saying that these kids shouldn't be forced to fall on their swords for misdeeds of the president.

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

Actually if I remember Trump said during the campaign that DACA would be cancelled on his first day, along with a lot of other things. But luckily he has taken the time to review this and I feel that he is much more sympathetic now to the situation. But he was elected partially due to policies such as these, so he cant just abandon them. So it seems reasonable to let Congress legislate it, as Obama should have done originally.

I am sympathetic to these people as well, but they started from an illegal status. Hopefully Congress can work something out where they are the last group of this type forever, and that they dont get citizenship or the ability to bring their extended family. As we see with the travel ban from Hawaii, liberals have a really loose definition of extended family that cant be supported.

We have to let the fault for these people getting screwed fall where it belongs, with the guy who made promises he knew the law wouldnt let him keep. That is why Obama didnt have a law passed in the first place and did it by Executive Order, knowing that another EO could undo it. He just figured another Dem would be president next after him and would keep it in place.

-4 ( +3 / -7 )

They are not being told to leave yet but if the Trump administration officials claim they’re targeting immigrants with criminal records for deportation it is wrong, morally if not legally, to be going after the lowest-hanging fruit — the immigrants they can most easily track down. The government essentially lured these kids out with promises of an education and job in exchange for divulging extensive personal information that now gets flipped and puts themselves as well as other undocumented family members at greater risk than if it had never happened at all.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

As always, the GOP faces a dilemma: how to harm enough helpless, innocent people to placate its base, without waking everyone else up.

So you're saying, it's ok to continuously allow anyone that has a child from a third world country to enter the US unchallenged or defy our immigration laws because we have to have an open heart? What about the millions of American kids that have no clothes or live in the streets and in poverty? The heck with them? The parents of these kids know full well that once the kids get amnesty or even a green card they can send for their other relatives to enter the country. That's a huge potential voting block for the Democrats and labor hands for the Republicans. I am a compassionate person, but we need to take care of our own people first and get our house into order before we take care of others.

-8 ( +6 / -14 )

Ive seen all the pics of people (even kids) holding signs with obscenities toward Trump and doing the 'middle finger'. Saying he cant make them leave while holding Mexican flags or cute signs that said Make America Mexico Again. Seems these people were....mistaken in their thoughts and action.

Now, they are saying please dont deport innocent children, while ignoring the fact that the average age of a Dreamer is 25. They want it both ways based on the argument. One minute, poor innocent children not to be blamed for their parent's illegal action. Next minute they are working for Apple and vital to our economy.

Let their visas expire and they can return to their home. Then those jobs can be filled by LEGAL immigrants and people of color if the liberals are concerned about this policy being 'racist'.
