Until he won won the presidency and they've been in a constant state of cardiac arrest. cardic arrest!? that would suggest theyve got nothing to report about, on the contrary the circus side show that is now the Trump white house has kept them well fed for the past 6 month, they dont look like being undernourished or having a heart attack anytime soon.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Not so much House of Cards, more like Game of Thrones. I wonder which character will be offed next? I think its closer to the "Walking Dead" when someone is infected by the Trump zombie infection, its a bullet to the head before they change.

Accept and move on no matter what happens?

Forget "sides" forget the people that didn't win and aren't in power for just a minute and look at whats going on.

Do you really think its acceptable?

Tweeting ideas as if they were policy.

Personal attacks on people, no matter what they say, from the "leader" of the free world.

(or person who controls the most bombs..)

Substituting non-elected family members for official international engagements of the highest level.

Denying, then admitting various meetings and goings on with foreign governments.

You wouldn't accept it from a friend or work colleague, and totally unacceptable for that office.

Attempting to repeal progress in civil rights for people hard fought for over decades.

This is on top of trying to enact policies with no real plan, just to make a point.

"Healthcare is easy, will fix it" several months later "Healthcare is hard, no-one knows how hard"

And so on and so forth.

There may be disagreement about who might be a better representative of the people, and style of governance but surely this person is as terrible, if not more so, at it than was predicted.

So stop bleating about Trump being treated badly by the media who helped propel him to the presidency.

Just because I disapprove of how the MSM are treating Trump and not being surprised by their daily whining, doesn't mean I can't comment on it.

You can help in this by continuing to write highbrow, non-partisan articles for elite newspapers. We need people like you more than ever.

I think the left can do a lot better by doing their job, report the new, get a tissue box, except the results and move on.

you don't just have a job, you have a mission.

Right back at you guys.

"his vulgar comments were way, way overboard, rude, distasteful and despicable"

But perfectly fine everyday behavior for YOUR beloved "Rezident".

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Trump made the right choice in letting Sean Spicer and his Washington insider superior, Reince Priebus, go and taking in a fresh, straight-shooting, front-stabbing guy like The Mooch.

...said by every Trumpbot for like 10 days.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

I don't expect anything from the MSM at least nothing substantial or pertinent.

So stop bleating about Trump being treated badly by the media who helped propel him to the presidency.

Bass, you don't just have a job, you have a mission.

Any person who is half honest would admit that Trump engages in trash talk in public more than any other president.

Refreshing, that's what I like about him, don't pull any punches.

Part of the reason he stole all the attention in his campaign was due to coming out with incendiary trash, childish ad hominems and outlandish policy babble.

Yup, lol!

You could argue this was a very successful strategy - it played a part in getting him elected. It was wall to wall trash and stupidity and the media loved it.

Until he won won the presidency and they've been in a constant state of cardiac arrest.

You can't expect the same media to suddenly become less interested in his incompetence, trash and stupidity now he's president. Seeing that he engages in trash attacks on that media, claims of unfair treatment ring a bit hollow.

I don't expect anything from the MSM at least nothing substantial or pertinent.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

They all do, they're human, but I wouldn't expect the press to cover single word the left throws out. But if it's Trump, the man coughs, it becomes news.

There is no transgender ban. It was simply Trump's tweet. They can still join. There is no order.

For now.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

it was a good thing because the military isn't a social science experiment, feel good country club

There is no transgender ban. It was simply Trump's tweet. They can still join. There is no order.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Yeah, I heard, A revolving door is being constructed in the White House to facilitate the rotation of staffers. And the soap continues.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Proof that Obama was a much better president.

Some may say that, I wouldn't, but that's my personal opinion.

He never used such language- nor did people under him.

Thats not true...

They all do, they're human, but I wouldn't expect the press to cover single word the left throws out. But if it's Trump, the man coughs, it becomes news.

Also, he was able to keep the WH under control unlike Trump. Trump is also a potty mouth. Trump can't even get people to work for him.

Until those Podesta leaks came out and we got a glimpse of inner workings and how sly and deceptive they really were.

What do we "need" you for, exactly?

As I said before, we leave Europe, NATO is gone, no NASA, pretty much Silicon Valley, had we not got involved in the last 2 WW what do you think the outcome would have looked like? And we buy more junk from China than any other country, keeping them afloat as well, they need us as well to buy their stuff at Walmart, I could go on, but I won't, so yes, without us, the world would be a chaotic mess.

Trump has been telling the whole world "America first" since day one. How does that benefit anyone, when a country decides to isolate itself?

Trump was never elected to be a world president, he was elected to be the president of the US, not a globalist president.

Nobody hates Americans. It's your bad comedy govt who are under scrutiny. Condemning terrorism but selling arms to the Saudi.

I don't like it, Trump doesn't like it, no one likes it, but as the saying goes, "keep your friends close and keep your enimies closer." Like it or not we need the Saudis, we need their oil and we need their help when it comes fighting radical Terrorism.

Coming down hard on leaks but leaking Israeli intelligence and discussing in public options on dealing with DPRK. Promising to protect sections of the electorate and then kicking them out of their jobs because of gender.

Those were leaks that should have never been revealed to the public, as far as the gender situation is concerned, yes, it was a good thing because the military isn't a social science experiment, feel good country club. What they do privately, I'm ok with it, when it comes to asking me pay for it, No.

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

I never gave a rats....you know what about how people view the US, they need us regardless, so why would I care if they hate us?

Did I say that?

You deflected and made the Communications Director's expletive laden leak all about the Democrats. Again; was it professional behaviour on his part?

Its beleaguered? You think so?

When Trump is dictating other people's statements for ongoing investigations, I'd say describing the administration as "beleagured" is being complimentary. It is a paranoid, reactionary, out of control regime that all but the most fervent supporters would see as a disaster.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

So Trump fans think he was smart by hiring Scaramucci and he's smart for firing Scaramuchi....all within 10 days. Because the Dear Leader never makes mistakes.

No one thinks that. He's not the last president, this guy makes mistakes, we all do.

It's important if you wish the US to be taken seriously and not be regarded as an amateur administration that makes things up on the hoof.

I never gave a rats....you know what about how people view the US, they need us regardless, so why would I care if they hate us?

Obfuscation. Scaramucci unleashed a foul mouth tirade to the press and leaked his plans for dealing with WH officials who rubbed him up the wrong way. Is that professional, in your book?

Did I say that?

All well and good but what does it have to do with the beleagured administration?

Its beleaguered? You think so?

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

As if that's important.

It's important if you wish the US to be taken seriously and not be regarded as an amateur administration that makes things up on the hoof.

Potty-mouthed?? There are No liberals appointed in the Trump administration. What on Earth are you talking about?

Obfuscation. Scaramucci unleashed a foul mouth tirade to the press and leaked his plans for dealing with WH officials who rubbed him up the wrong way. Is that professional, in your book?

Well, I think it's funnier to see the Democrats hoping and praying if they can win any future elections

All well and good but what does it have to do with the beleagured administration?

5 ( +5 / -0 )

So Trump fans think he was smart by hiring Scaramucci and he's smart for firing Scaramuchi....all within 10 days. Because the Dear Leader never makes mistakes.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

It wasn't clear from your post who the 'filth' was. Given the article is about the firing of Scaramucci in 11 days,

You have a problem with him?

I assumed you were talking about this potty-mouthed addition to the potty swamp.

Potty-mouthed?? There are No liberals appointed in the Trump administration. What on Earth are you talking about?

How many staff has Trump gone through in his brief tenure? "The Mooch" took TEN days! hahahahaha.

So when the government doesn't work, you think it's funny? Well, I think it's funnier to see the Democrats hoping and praying if they can win any future elections and so far, it doesn't look that good. I should be laughing, but Then digress....

The whole world is laughing.

As if that's important.

-9 ( +0 / -9 )

After being given the bum's rush out of the Casa Blanca, the potty-mouthed "Mouch" has landed hard on his pooch, but he won't be the last to be flung out of the revolving door of Trump's "Apprentice on the Potomac" show. How long will the crusty General be able to take orders to swat flies in the Oval Office from his chickenhawk Commander-in-Tweet? It looks more like a dog and monkey marriage of convenience with Bannon lying low, biding his time in the background until the honeymoon with Kelly gets in the way of Trump's trash TV viewing. One day soon, after this cheesy reality show has jumped the shark, there's sure to be a remake: Mr Trump goes to Washington (aka Drowning not Draining in the Swamp)

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Drain the swamp, US citizens, drain the swamp.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

There's no stability - it's been a revolving door in even just half a year in

The White House Press Secretary said Trump encourages infighting among his staff for competition, actively egging on the very public and painful feud

(In the New Yorker magazine when Scaramucci raged against Priebus and White House chief strategist Steve Bannon, White House officials and outside allies say the president is reveling in Scaramucci’s campaign and specifically gave Scaramucci the green light to go after Reince — on-air if necessary. Scaramucci himself claimed that he had secured Trump’s “blessing” for his words and actions prior to a Thursday morning CNN interview.)

Yet now they're cleaning house - many of the original Trump supporters are out

So which is it?

5 ( +5 / -0 )

How many staff has Trump gone through in his brief tenure? "The Mooch" took TEN days! hahahahaha.

Inochi: "and so the circus continues... the Russians and Chinese must be getting a real laugh out of this"

Oh, not just them, my friend. The whole world is laughing.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Who was filth? That party left earlier this year? What are you talking about?

It wasn't clear from your post who the 'filth' was. Given the article is about the firing of Scaramucci in 11 days, I assumed you were talking about this potty-mouthed addition to the potty swamp.

Drain the potty!

5 ( +5 / -0 )

Hahaha! This douche bag scaramucci......calling him a dirty slime ball seemed like a real high compliment! Heck we don't even see goofballs like him in the movies for christs sake!

trump firing scaramucci is probably the only thing I like, but hiring this moron in the first place more than cancels this out!!

And the goofballs wife is leaving him hahah, did his sell his company too....you just can make this stuff up!!

4 ( +4 / -0 )

It is just pure speculative opinion out of the Alex Jones' playbook.

No, I grew up and lived in California, you walk around telling people you're a conservative and it might get you a beat down, at the very least, condemnation.

It creates a sense of being the embattled minority, and since he thinks he is absolutely right and can tell who is a "lefty" and wrong, it makes him smarter than 98% of the population, certainly anyone he labels as lefty.

Hmmm....I don't about all that, I just know when it comes to the media conservatives don't have any real power and to represent the shunned or hated side, you just have FNC and thank god for them.

-10 ( +0 / -10 )

98% of the media are leftists,

Interesting. Can you back that up with a link/poll/citation/source? Otherwise that is pure speculative opinion.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

But it seems like he's doing a good job of getting rid of the flilth that was slowing his progress.

Next filth is Mueller and maybe news organizations?

I liked Scaramucci in that role. But KellyAnne Conway or Katrina Pierson will be just as good and less profane.

What are you talking about, the Mooch was like watching one of the goodfellas as a member of the WH. Another fellow opportunist and conman like Trump but able to speak in sentences.

Conway's value is in being a verbal contortionist when we need someone telling the truth. She is very good at wasting people's time and attention, and distracting people from questions raised by reporters.

6 ( +6 / -0 )

You call hiring 'filth' and then firing it 'progress'?

Who was filth? That party left earlier this year? What are you talking about?

Actually, this is a brilliant idea. Trump can claim he's draining the swamp and Tweet about his brilliance. The minor detail of him creating the swamp in the first place can be swiftly dismissed by reference to 'haters and losers', and 'fake news'.

I think with Kelly at the helm, he can finally do that.

In the meantime, the Dems have their own problems they need to worry about, like how to win elections and stay relevant as a party.

Interesting. Can you back that up with a link/poll/citation/source?

Yes, I think so. Anyway, Besides, FNC what other networks carry an equal amount of conservatives or even allow conservatives to speak

Otherwise that is pure speculative opinion.

Not at all. On TV besides FNC it's a pure liberal echo chamber.

Alternative facts as a certain Kellyanne Conway put it. Where do these spokespeople get their training from, anyway?

Probably from the same training grounds the liberals get theirs from.

SHS is the only decent one in the whole shop and she seems to be struggling with some of the more outlandish profferings from Trump and co...

Well, that's your personal opinion, I understand.

-10 ( +0 / -10 )

The "mooch" is gone and good riddance. Did anyone, apart from himself, actually call him that?

98% of the media are leftists,

Trump has now held office for more than 6 months, and as you said, it's chaos.

But it seems like he's doing a good job of getting rid of the flilth that was slowing his progress.

Trump supporters will go for that.

I liked Scaramucci in that role. But KellyAnne Conway or Katrina Pierson will be just as good and less profane.

-8 ( +0 / -8 )

I'm talking about Trump. Why are you talking about liberals?

Sorry to interject I was just agreeing with you, is that so bad, you are right and in your overall analysis, liberals would then equally not do so well, so I'm just giving you thumbs up, that's all.

Trump has now held office for more than 6 months, and as you said, it's chaos.

But it seems like he's doing a good job of getting rid of the flilth that was slowing his progress.

How much longer can your sympathy hold out for a man who's new to this politics thing? My guess is if it does run out, you'll post 'the libs are worse' with a 'hmmm...' and a 'ROFL'.

Not only are you right, but liberals have nothing better to offer except fascism

...dont know maybe the one where you get your fake facts from hey...can you provide some links..

Ok, so it means you really don't know. Any networks come to mind?

-12 ( +0 / -12 )

This move is kind of strange, but I think that Scaramucci was just brought in mostly to take out Spicer and Priebus anyway.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

maybe he can bring order to all this chaos inside the WH.

Trump would have to leave office for that. He created the chaos. He is unfit for president. Look at how well Obama kept the office managed for 8 years. He didn't even need all those lawyers that Trump has for Trump's scandals. Obama was a real president and his racist haters just made things up about him like he was born in Kenya and he "doesn't have leadership" because there was nothing else they had about him. But if Trump stays in Office for 8 years it means more comedy. Trump can't even get people hired. Look at the great leadership Obama had and the order he kept in the WH. The disorder now is all on Trump. If Trump leaves then we have someone who literally believes in the Jesus zombie and that the earth is 2,100 years old and Jesus himself rode on dinosaurs. But he would be better than Trump and would have better order in the WH. Trump needs to go. He hasn't gotten anything done. Even the transgender ban- he only announced it on Twitter, it has not gone through the proper channels for it to come into effect and transgenders can still join if they want to. Trump has broken all his promises- no Hillary arrest, no wall, no NAFTA trashing, nothing. No Muslim ban...he has not done anything.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

@bass So which other network?...dont know maybe the one where you get your fake facts from hey...can you provide some links..

The "finely-tuned", "well-oiled" machine

The clown car doing screeching 180 turns around the Whitehouse lawn sounds in rude health.

9 ( +10 / -1 )

Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear -- that "finely-tuned," "well-oiled" machine doesn't seem to be running smoothly any more. Actually, did it ever?? Blow us a farewell kiss, Mr S!

Good job Trump isn't in a job with a 6-month probationary period.

Oh, then liberals would never stand a chance.

I'm talking about Trump. Why are you talking about liberals? Trump has now held office for more than 6 months, and as you said, it's chaos.

"The greatest democracy on earth"

It must be wearing thin even for the most ardent Trump supporters, the nonsense that is going on seems to worsen by the day, to the point almost nothing seems surprising anymore.

Of course there are people who would have been against this Presidency no matter the performance but I think what we have seen so far more than justifies the most harsh of criticism.

From an outsiders point of view without even getting personal as such, the 'big ideas and promises' of the campaign trail have been plagued by the very issues most suspected would occur, little substance, no real plan, a lack of political knowledge to gain support and a almost complete lack of understanding of international relations.

Politics at its best isn't a business, a personal platform, vendetta, cult of personality, but a group that wants to ensure the best for ALL the people it represents as fairly and freely as possible, while fostering good relationships with other representative organizations. This is clearly far from what is happening.

4 ( +4 / -0 )

Good job Trump isn't in a job with a 6-month probationary period.

Oh, then liberals would never stand a chance.

Anyway, I think Kelly is the right man for the job, respected by both sides, I really would like to see Dems take a swipe out of someone they deeply admire to score political points, the timer is on.

Pre-empting a future Trump tweet following the next metaphorical White House bloodletting:

I don't know what it would be but it certainly would not be napalm.

a major Republican effort to overhaul the U.S. healthcare system failed in Congress and both his spokesman and previous chief of staff left their jobs

Broken.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

So the Russians told her not to visit Wisconsin as well??? They made her hide her emails? Had no idea the Russians were that good.

Since you feign ignorance: They selectively released some of their portfolio of hacked emails, knowing they would damage Hillary.

Re Wisconsin, it's true that the black voter turnout declined vs 2012, tipping the total in Trump's favour. Should Hillary have done more? Maybe. But that has nothing to do with the topic of discussion.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

All readers back on topic please. Hillary Clinton is not relevant to this particular discussion.

The best way this could work is:

Kelly acts as the shadow president doing what a president should do behind closed doors, and:

Trump plays the role of president and just smiles, waves, issues vulgar tweets while on the commode, only occasionally ostracizes large segments of the American population and signs things he is told to sign.

Trump is too much the showboat for that to work. As soon as Kelly out stages the prima donna of a president, say good bye to Kelly.

Kelly is definitely better designed for the job, maybe he can bring order to all this chaos inside the WH.

The only problem is that Kelly is used to people who understand a chain of command and have discipline and order. The WH is full of civilians with the primary discipline of serving their own self-interests. He is obviously a strong manager as a Marine general, but he doesn't have a lot of legislative experience.

Still, since he is a Marine general, I have a lot of confidence in his abilities and hope that he will be a positive influence. That said, Trump will waste and cancel out those skills and abilities.

5 ( +5 / -0 )

You didn't hear about the Russian-leaked Podesta emails then.

So the Russians told her not to visit Wisconsin as well??? They made her hide her emails? Had no idea the Russians were that good.

Funnily enough I don't remember you saying this about Trump when he made remarks about Mika, Megyn Kelly, and mocked a disabled reporter.

Why should I, Mika thinks because she's a woman, she can just punch and insult the president and he has to just take it, sorry, she wants to get in the ring, but doesn't want to get punched, doesn't work like that. As for Kelly, I didn't think it was right what he said to her and I never applauded that and lastly, the left have made worse comments than Trump supposedly mocking a disabled person. I remember when former msnbc pundit Ed Schultz made atrocious comments about Dick Cheney's heart transplant surgery, that they should rip it out of his chest, kick it around like a ball and shove it back into him. Now exactly the nicest thing to say. These things happen and are said are done on both sides of the political spectrum.

All I remember you saying is how this President is not gonna take it lying down and the media was getting a taste of their own medicine so good on Trump.

Yes, that's right!

Did you by any chance catch the selective amnesia plaguing the Trump administration?

Well, I guess both the WH and the media have this problem apparently.

Oh my @bass more fake stats...

So which other network?

-16 ( +0 / -16 )

By the way, what other network? Can you tell me?

Well, even Trump's daughter and son-in-law have to report to Kelly now.. Looks like Trump is being reigned in hard. I doubt this setup will last long

Don't know about that, I think this is a very good thing and exactly what this WH needs.

But Putin didn't make her President, did he?

"With a very controversial situation, there’s been very little controversy, which is really amazing by itself,"

Is English Trump's first language?

7 ( +8 / -1 )

The departure of this idiot is definitely positive in itself, and of course it further adds to the image of stupidity and incompetence of the president. But putting a proper person in charge may end up helping Trump cling to office a bit longer. So definitely a mixed blessing.

4 ( +5 / -1 )

trump or kelly could fire the whole west wing and it wouldn't make one iota of difference. it'll always be a circus because the lead clown is still there.

Next thing you know you'll be saying Trump, his family members and admin appointees actually met surreptitiously with Russians.

As if that's crime, you do know Hillary had seemingly a great time with meeting with the Russians as well.

But Putin didn't make her President, did he?

14 ( +15 / -1 )

Bass4funk: where does that number come from?

12 ( +13 / -1 )

Do you have a source saying there's 'chaos inside the WH'?

Yeah, besides the TV, the press, everyone in the WH and every other person that said it.

I thought it was just the leftist media with a get-Trump agenda saying that.

I said, 98% of the media are leftists, you do have a few on the right that have an agenda and I have never disputed that, I always said there were elements of the Washington establishment on both sides that have their knives out for Trump.

Hopefully under Kelly things will get better, he may just bring in the discipline and authority that is needed to clean house and get things rolling.

Also no one knows how to be President, no one has ever taken office knowing how to be the President from day one, but after a year he had better get a clue to what he needs to do or nothing will ever get done. Trump seems to have enemies on both sides of the aisle, and that is never a good thing.

-1 ( +1 / -2 )

Wow. Just.... wow. This is just indefensible. It must be plain for everyone to see by now, surely, what a laughable farce this administration is.

13 ( +14 / -1 )

Indeed. And so the circus continues. The GOP owns this ongoing crime against democracy, lock, stock, and barrel.

A Trump tweet from last year:

Wow was Ted Cruz disloyal to his very capable director of communication. He used him as a scape goat-fired like a dog! Ted panicked.

Well, at least he still has his family. Oh - wait: his wife filed for divorce during the ninth month of her pregnancy, and he missed the birth as he was too caught up with his ambition. So, no family. Sad.

Where does Trump find these people? I'd thought Flynn would have been the scuzziest, but I was wrong.

Kelly probably had the wherewithal to know another potential conflict of interest allegation was lurking alongside the mooch. http://www.businessinsider.com/scaramucci-hna-business-sale-conflict-2017-7

Saying the mooch was offed because he used bad language was a clever media ploy, bought by most of Trump's true believers.

Each time Trump refills his ever deepening, self-made swamp, he adds someone from the cess pool of American business. And the US taxpayers cover the cost of the swamp's gold fixtures, the fixtures the Trump appointees are accustomed to.

Trump: taking the US back to its roots, making it a a developing world nation once again.

Not so much House of Cards, more like Game of Thrones. I wonder which character will be offed next?

Trump appeared on Monday with Kelly in the Oval Office and in a Cabinet meeting where he predicted the new chief of staff would do a "spectacular job."

Yeah, yeah. Everyone does a great, spectacular, wonderful job right up until the next episode.

While I never thought much of Scaramuchi, the problem is not with him or others on the White House staff. The problem is that Trump doesn't know how to be President. And since he listens to nobody, he will never learn.
