It looks like some are trying the muddy the waters on what constitutes racism.

I think the most nailed-on, balls-out, no-nonsense example of racism which has come up is not renting to people based on skin colour.

No grey area here. Trump really hit it out of the park.

Yes, both who are below 4% support in the racist Democratic party campaign. Hear Kamala tell you all about it.

What's racist about the Democratic Party campaign?

Here you go again citing polls. We all know polls are useless unless they support your position. Trumpophile "logic" for you.

you'd see that there are two Black Dem candidates in 2020...

Harris also blamed her poor polling on racism and sexism

Because Dems keep offering them free stuff. Remember Obama phones?

You mean the phones for low income people so they can contact emergency services, male doctors appointments, have a phone number for a resume? The horror! The absolute horror.

What have republicans done for black people?

6 ( +6 / -0 )

The Trump economy and low black unemployment rate now allows black people to buy their own. Wonderful! No need to vote for Dems now.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

Because Dems keep offering them free stuff. Remember Obama phones?

Okay, but you haven't answered why black people don't vote for republicans in higher numbers.

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

What is it about the Republicans which is so toxic to black voters? It must be really poisonous.

Yeah, most of the media is really toxic and poisonous. It has been ingrained in blacks to automatically vote for the Dems for decades. Trump is waking them up with his policies that benefit ALL Americans, regardless of race.

Trumpers just have no self-awareness - or they'd realize the racist elements of this statement - that Black Americans are too dumb to decide for themselves. And they wonder why Black Americans look on them like poison.

The democrat party officially gave up on black and other minority voters after the 2012 campaign by switching tactics to cobble together a LBGTQ bloc that only in their universe was the true majority of American voters.

Gave up? Uh, you may want to focus on now versus four years ago - you'd see that there are two Black Dem candidates in 2020...

But no side stepping, what have the Democrats done over the last 60 years to greatly improve the lives of black people?

Tell you what, I'll answer that when the Repub nominee for President is a Black American - Kanye and Dennis Rodman don't count...

6 ( +6 / -0 )

Serrano: Yeah, most of the media is really toxic and poisonous. It has been ingrained in blacks to automatically vote for the Dems for decades.

Did one of the people denied housing by Trump get duped into believing racism exists because of...the media?

Trump is waking them up with his policies that benefit ALL Americans, regardless of race.

And blacks in Alabama should have voted for George Wallace because of his economic policies? Trump is presiding over a good economy that helps everyone. That doesn't erase his racism.

If you want to see racism, go to the Fox News comment section. Find a story that involves black people. Sort the comments by the most liked. It's practically a hate speech site.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

bass4funk: But no side stepping, what have the Democrats done over the last 60 years to greatly improve the lives of black people?

Why not ask your black friends?

Serrano: Sigh... You're referring, of course, to way, way back in the 1970s when Trump refused to rent a certain building out to anyone on welfare. Didn't matter if they were black, white, whatever. Look it up.

Completely and utterly false. He marked applications with "C" to stand for "colored" so he knew to deny the application. He told the door man to tell any black person that no units were available for rent. He was sued and lost for discrimination....twice.

Does that change your mind about anything? Nope. Now go ask a black person to attend a Trump rally with you.

blacklabel: and here come the identity politics.

Banning Muslims is identity politics. Banning transgenders is identity politics. Talking about "dual loyalties" is identity politics. Specifically removing LGBT protections is identity politics. Pardoning Joe Arpaio is identity politics. Pandering to what supremacists is identity politics. "Welfare queen" is identity politics. The Southern Strategy is identity politics. Gerrymandering is identity politics.

You're just upset when it happens to you is all.

Not me, I know what the Dems have done to the Black community, liberals don’t for some odd reason.

Okay, but you haven't answered why black people don't vote for republicans in higher numbers.

Democrat negative messaging and Candace and a few others finally woke up and found they’ve been swindled by the party.

The democrat party officially gave up on black and other minority voters after the 2012 campaign by switching tactics to cobble together a LBGTQ bloc that only in their universe was the true majority of American voters.

They should have learned in '16 that that was a losing formula, but instead they are doubling down on their stupidity in the run up to next year's general election.

Wouldnt it he nice if immigrants didntvtey to insert themselves into US politics and instead went back to were they are from and tried to make those places better? America is full.

Compared to John McCain and Mitt Romney, yes he ( Obama ) was the best candidate.

I held my nose and voted for McCain and Romney. All three were so bad.

It didnt hurt he got 98% of the black vote as well.

Yeah, well, Kerry got 88% of the black vote in 2004 and Gore got 90% of the black vote in 2000. Blacks have traditionally voted for the Dem candidate no matter who it is. But Trump has awakened a lot blacks to the fact that the Dems are not for empowering them, but for controlling them along with everyone else. I think we'll see the 2020 Dem candidate getting less than 80% of the black vote which will be devastating for them.

This is interesting, Dr. Ben Carson's remarks as well as Trump's -

Compared to the history of how Blacks have suffered and continue to suffer under the Democrats, why not take a chance on something different, you tried 60 years with the same party, a party that technically you have polar opposite beliefs.

You are sidestepping here, not me.

I have already granted you what you stated - the Democrats have not done a good job. Now, why do black voters see the alternative as worse? The alternative must be absolutely repulsive given your description of how bad the democrats are. I can only imagine something like a racist with this level of toxicity.

Compared to the history of how Blacks have suffered and continue to suffer under the Democrats, why not take a chance on something different, you tried 60 years with the same party, a party that technically you have polar opposite beliefs.

I once saw Candace Owens slipping into using ‘like’ three times a sentence when cornered on climate change denial by Joe Rogan. Denying climate change is a real lemming issue for the anti-science US right. The usual ‘globalist’ cack from those too lazy to formulate a decent argument was another of her tools. It was toe-curling.

Well, for you that might have been, my nose hairs burn when the Dems and climate change people open their mouths all the time, but everyone has their own beliefs.

She didn’t have a clue. Boring and predictable rightist guff and conspiracy theories. Very Trumpian.

I see it differently, I feel the Dems are once again setting themselves up for failure focusing on the climate change drivel, this will doom the party....again.

As for Kanye, I thought you didn’t like celebs spouting off about politics.

I like Black celebs not towing the Black liberal line.

Come on - vote Repub; some of us are "very fine people"....

https://www.dailysignal.com/2016/03/29/how-liberal-policies-destroyed-black-families/

The Brookings researchers seem to have understood that the breakdown of the black family has been the main driver of the chronic wealth gap between whites and blacks over the past five decades. The lack of intact families among blacks leads to a lack of education and jobs, which translates into higher rates of crime and government dependency among blacks. Eureka!

You don’t have to be a neurosurgeon to see that a child born to an unmarried teenage mother isn’t going to have a rosy future in life. The conclusions of the Brookings research are obvious, but Democrats continue to ignore the plain truth. Back in 1965, Moynihan was pelted with virulent criticism for telling the truth about black America.

Things have only gotten worse since then.

Yes, Democrats are caring. ROFL!

-6 ( +1 / -7 )

The question should be why, if what you say is correct, do black people not vote in huge numbers for the alternative?

But no side stepping, what have the Democrats done over the last 60 years to greatly improve the lives of black people?

And tonight, a Trump outreach to Black Americans rally....

To all the African Americans out there, get your tickets to tonight's Outreach to Black America rally - hosed by your President, with specials guests;

David Duke - former Grand Wizard of the KKK - who will speak to black employment opportunities with the Klan and instruct on how best to press a wrinkle-free white sheet....

Richard Spencer - noted Neo-Nazi and White Supremacist - on the correct way to offer a "Heil Trump" salute...

Special Guest: Repub Rep Steve King - who will offer a seminar on his famous statement; "White Supremacy - When Did That Term Become Offensive"?

Yes, we want you to vote for Donald "I won't rent to Blacks" Trump and his progressive civil rights team...

Come on - vote Repub; some of us are "very fine people"....

Compared to John McCain and Mitt Romney, yes he was the best candidate. By far. It didnt hurt he got 98% of the black vote as well. But he was a better candidate. I voted for him both times.

Obama won because he was the best candidate

Problem now is, who will get the black vote in the Dem primary? Biden is the only front-runner who realistically has any chance of getting any significant black vote, but only due to his association with Obama.

So if its anyone else vs Trump in 2020, dont black voters just stay home? Then you run around with muh voter suppression. No, your lack of a candidate I care about and who cares about me suppressed me. So Dems are pretty much stuck with Quid Pro Joe.

Could it be that they see the alternative is worse? If you were a black voter, would you vote for a president with a history of discriminating against black people and retweeting racist material? The answer must surely be no.

I think Candace Owens is one of the most smart and informed black young millennials as well as Kanye get it.

Love this woman! Definitely woke, informed and not a lemming.

Yet, Trump was never a "racist" as it relates to black people until sometime after the first week of November 2016. Wonder why that is....?

Nice speech, but why is it that not a single liberal can tell me with all the historical baggage and terrible history the Democrat party has had with decimating the Black community? I know they predominantly vote in lockstep with the party, but after all the indoctrination and even with that diatribe, how have Democrats improved the lives of Blacks and their communities?

David Duke endorsed Ilhan Omar and Tulsi Gabbard.

Nice try though. Should have gone with the other boogeyman Richard Spencer, but he hates Trump too.

David Duke, the former KKK grand wizard, is unambiguous about what Saturday’s alt-right and neo-Nazi rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, means to him: It’s the fulfillment of President Donald Trump’s vision for America.

“We are determined to take our country back,” Duke said from the rally, calling it a “turning point.” “We are going to fulfill the promises of Donald Trump. That’s what we believed in. That’s why we voted for Donald Trump, because he said he’s going to take our country back.”

Trump launches black outreach effort for 2020

Heck yea! I can't see why any Black American wouldn't fall in love with Trump - just look at hos record of "supporting the Black community"....

1973: The US Department of Justice — under the Nixon administration, out of all administrations — sued the Trump Management Corporation for violating the Fair Housing Act. Federal officials found evidence that Trump had refused to rent to black tenants and lied to black applicants about whether apartments were available, among other accusations. Trump said the federal government was trying to get him to rent to welfare recipients. In the aftermath, he signed an agreement in 1975 agreeing not to discriminate to renters of color without admitting to discriminating before.

1980s: Kip Brown, a former employee at Trump’s Castle, accused another one of Trump’s businesses of discrimination. “When Donald and Ivana came to the casino, the bosses would order all the black people off the floor,” Brown said. “It was the eighties, I was a teenager, but I remember it: They put us all in the back.”

1988: In a commencement speech at Lehigh University, Trump spent much of his speech accusing countries like Japan of “stripping the United States of economic dignity.” This matches much of his current rhetoric on China.

1989: In a controversial case that’s been characterized as a modern-day lynching, four black teenagers and one Latino teenager — the “Central Park Five” — were accused of attacking and raping a jogger in New York City. Trump immediately took charge in the case, running an ad in local papers demanding, “BRING BACK THE DEATH PENALTY. BRING BACK OUR POLICE!” The teens’ convictions were later vacated after they spent seven to 13 years in prison, and the city paid $41 million in a settlement to the teens. But Trump in October 2016 said he still believes they’re guilty, despite the DNA evidence to the contrary.

1991: A book by John O’Donnell, former president of Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City, quoted Trump’s criticism of a black accountant: “Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day. … I think that the guy is lazy. And it’s probably not his fault, because laziness is a trait in blacks. It really is, I believe that. It’s not anything they can control.” Trump at first denied the remarks, but later said in a 1997 Playboy interview that “the stuff O’Donnell wrote about me is probably true.”

1992: The Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino had to pay a $200,000 fine because it transferred black and women dealers off tables to accommodate a big-time gambler’s prejudices.

2004: In season two of The Apprentice, Trump fired Kevin Allen, a black contestant, for being overeducated. “You’re an unbelievably talented guy in terms of education, and you haven’t done anything,” Trump said on the show. “At some point you have to say, ‘That’s enough.’”

2005: Trump publicly pitched what was essentially The Apprentice: White People vs. Black People. He said he “wasn’t particularly happy” with the most recent season of his show, so he was considering “an idea that is fairly controversial — creating a team of successful African Americans versus a team of successful whites. Whether people like that idea or not, it is somewhat reflective of our very vicious world.”

2011: Trump played a big role in pushing false rumors that Obama — the country’s first black president — was not born in the US. He even sent investigators to Hawaii to look into Obama’s birth certificate. Obama later released his birth certificate, calling Trump a ”carnival barker.” (The research has found a strong correlation between “birtherism,” as this conspiracy theory is called, and racism.) Trump has reportedly continued pushing this conspiracy theory in private.

2011: While Trump suggested that Obama wasn’t born in the US, he also argued that maybe Obama wasn’t a good enough student to have gotten into Columbia or Harvard Law School, and demanded Obama release his university transcripts. Trump claimed, “I heard he was a terrible student. Terrible. How does a bad student go to Columbia and then to Harvard?”

2017: In the week after white supremacist protests in Charlottesville, Virginia, in August 2017, Trump repeatedly said that “many sides” and “both sides” were to blame for the violence and chaos that ensued — suggesting that the white supremacist protesters were morally equivalent to counterprotesters that stood against racism. He also said that there were “some very fine people” among the white supremacists. All of this seemed like a dog whistle to white supremacists — and many of them took it as one, with white nationalist Richard Spencer praising Trump for “defending the truth.”

2017: Throughout 2017, Trump repeatedly attacked NFL players who, by kneeling or otherwise silently protesting during the national anthem, demonstrated against systemic racism in America.

2017: Trump reportedly said in 2017 that people who came to the US from Haiti “all have AIDS,” and he lamented that people who came to the US from Nigeria would never “go back to their huts” once they saw America. The White House denied that Trump ever made these comments.

And there are lots more - really, what's keeping Black Americans from flocking to this guy?

I mean can David Duke be wrong?

Under the leadership of America’s first black president, black people have been the biggest losers. Here are the numbers

• 25% of black households live below the poverty line as compared to eight percent for white households.

• One out of three black children lives in poverty.

• Blacks are twice as likely as whites to be unemployed.

• Blacks earn $13,000 less per year than their white counterparts.

• The unemployment rate of African Americans has consistently been twice as high as for whites over the last 50 years.

• For every $100 in wealth of a white household, the black household only has $6 in wealth.

In 2016, African Americans made up 24 percent of Democratic primary voters, the most ever. And that share is expected to climb in 2020.

Why is it that you would know more than the actual people for whom you profess to speak?

-12 ( +0 / -12 )

“The president is perceived by many in the United States as racist."

That’s ridiculous. Trump supports Americans. It’s Dems that divide citizens up by race. Obama was constantly attacking white people, especially cops, and even failed to prosecute a racist black man who threatened to kill white babies at a Philadelphia polling place. He also hung out with Lois Farrakhan. A vile racists with many more followers than white supremacist groups.

The Democrat party is the party of anti-Asian college entrance policies and race based employment and contracting. Democrats have always used race to divide Americans against one another. The same now as it was in 1865. They have always believed that racism is okay if it is against their hold on power.

Blacks have been used by Democrats for too long. Blacks are no better off now than before Republicans in Congress provided the most votes for Civil Rights legislation in the 1960’s. Polities pushes by Dems keep blacks poor, single, fatherless, and angry.

Blexit.

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

I'm sure that Donnie will do a very fine job of reaching out to African Americans right about the time an ad comes out.

It'll be a simple ad. For the first ten seconds, we can have video clips of white men with tiki torches chanting "White lives matter!" and "You will not replace us!" before cutting to a video of a DeAndre Harris being beaten in a parking garage on August 12th of the rally...

then cut to Donald Trump stating "very fine people on both sides... both sides."

Yup, that'll have African Americans voting for Donald Trump in droves.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Yes, the Democrats have a very dark and stained history concerning Blacks, even the Kennedy’s early on were reluctant to speak out on Jim Crow laws.

True.

Meanwhile, in the here and now, we have a president who retweets dodgy material from racist groups while in office.

Disgraceful behaviour.

I'm sure some blacks, like Kanye, Tyson or Ben Carson will support him, while his overwhelmingly white supporters will still call them the n-word.

Democrats have been saying that word since the party was created.

But historically, that's nothing new. There have been blacks in favor of slavery, women opposed to women's suffrage, gays supporting sodomy laws and conversion therapy, and so on.

Yes, the Democrats have a very dark and stained history concerning Blacks, even the Kennedy’s early on were reluctant to speak out on Jim Crow laws.

Those who support what is clearly not in their own best interest are probably experiencing a form of Stockholm syndrome, where they identify with their captors.

All the more reason why people like Candace Owens, Kevin Jackson and Niger Innes know the Democrats have been selling fools gold to Blacks.

The number of Black voters that participated in the 2016 Presidential Election was 16.4 million, or roughly 60% of those eligible to vote. If just 6% of them voted for Trump... that would equal around 984,000 overall. It is not so much that he himself needs the Black vote.... but he needs it to hold certain Congressional seats.

A substantial number of blacks voted for Trump in 2016.

Utter nonsense.  89% of the black vote went to the democrats.  Depending on whose poll you refer to, 6 - 8 % of the black vote went to Trump (who claimed he would get 95% of the black vote).

I hope Trump doesn’t retweet any more dodgy videos from racist organizations.

It might send out the wrong message.

A substantial number of blacks voted for Trump in 2016.

Is that right?

In 2016, 6% of black voters supported Trump, according to a Pew Research Center analysis of people who participated in its polls and were confirmed to have voted. There is no indication his support is growing.

I wouldn't call 6% substantial.

I think Trump has reached the 'delusional' phase of his denial. Sigh....

A substantial number of blacks voted for Trump in 2016.

He's gonna get way more in 2020. Dems know this and are panicking, hence impeachment.

Look what I've delivered.

Record low unemployment. Record high stock market.

he'll also be trying to make sure he makes it difficult for those who do not support him to vote.

He'll be doing no such thing, where do you get this? MSNBC?

President Trump will be a president again in 2020...

-11 ( +6 / -17 )

And the whole time he's reaching out to Black voters.... he'll also be trying to make sure he makes it difficult for those who do not support him to vote. You know what many Trump supporter's like most about him.... they like that he speaks their language. Now go and listen to him speak.
