President Trump clearly being given the Royal treatment!

The full speech....from The President of the United States of America

President Trump clearly being given the Royal treatment!

Because the royal family and British government are mature and sophisticated aged, unlike Donny.

The world needs to isolate the US until we have a presidentvthsr understands what it means to be presidential.

10 ( +20 / -10 )

I hate it when his infantile ego is being fed.

23 ( +29 / -6 )

"The U.S. delegation to the banquet may be large: Not only are the president and the first lady of course in attendance, but also members of his family. Britain’s Daily Mail reported at the weekend that Ivanka Trump, Jared Kushner, Donald Trump Jr., Eric Trump and Tiffany Trump were expected."

Just like you'd expect from a family of cheap grifters.

Why are we paying for the trump family summer vacation?

12 ( +21 / -9 )

Just like you'd expect from a family of cheap grifters.

Cheap grifters? Now that’s an original. ROFL!

Why are we paying for the trump family summer vacation?

Yes and we have to pay for a lot of liberal programs we hate as well, we just have to all deal with it.

-19 ( +5 / -24 )

Just watched that speech.... definitely intellectually challenged. Stable genius can’t pronounce ‘wreckage’ nor ‘unwavering’.

18 ( +22 / -4 )

Protest banner: "The Queen Loathes You!"

She sure didn't show it!

I hate it when his infantile ego is being fed.

It'd be OK if Obama was being wined and dined though, right?

-20 ( +7 / -27 )

She sure didn't show it!

Because she's a professional, unlike Donny. Tee Hee.

19 ( +25 / -6 )

Protest banner: "The Queen Loathes You!"

She sure didn't show it!

Maybe she’ll tweet trash about him later and then deny doing it.

22 ( +27 / -5 )

It'd be OK if Obama was being wined and dined though, right?

Yes, because it would be professional courtesy instead of feeding a petulant man-child's fragile ego. HAR!

16 ( +21 / -5 )

It's embarrassing that we sent over a proven scammer, known liar, and admitted molester to meet the Queen.

Last time we sent a Nobel Peace Prize winner.

16 ( +23 / -7 )

U.S. President Donald Trump and Queen Elizabeth hailed the bonds between the United States and the United Kingdom

while snickering taxpayers in both nations were once again picking up the tabs for the event.

6 ( +9 / -3 )

Wow huge protest! A whole 2 people and 2 signs and a cameraman. Sure showed that Orange dotard who is the boss!

-17 ( +5 / -22 )

"Haven't seen any protests yet, but I'm sure the Fake News will be working hard to find them," Trump wrote on Twitter.

Of course you haven't. You've been ushered through the back of BP by helicopter. Aren't you going to parade yourself down the streets of London to see all your fans? Or will he take the helicopter to Downing Street?

And that photo! His gut is literally bursting through. But don't worry, he's the fittest president ever. He'll live to 120!

14 ( +16 / -2 )

Protest banner: "The Queen Loathes You!"

She sure didn't show it!

The queen is subtle, and she did. Her gift to Trump was an abriged copy of Churchill's memoirs. And even that he'll never read.

10 ( +15 / -5 )

The raw uncouthness of the USA for all to witness. The way to go USA. It about time The USA show it real self

2 ( +7 / -5 )

Great gift. A book lol. Right on the money for a great insult to the USA President Trump who can not read a word of English but I will give credit for being able to read a Macdonald menu.

8 ( +11 / -3 )

I assume most Trump supporters and US Citizens don't care about the english royals.

-1 ( +4 / -5 )

Idi Amien got the same.

5 ( +6 / -1 )

Agree zichi, President Trumps generous, if somewhat enumerative speech, I am personally embarrassed, I thought President Trump would lapse into political narrative, however President Trumps delivery is diplomatically pitch perfect.

Many quite correctly do not espouse to Donald Trumps jarringly unpleasant ranting, or his undoubtedly coarse and unjustified impertinence.

However I have to respect and give grace to the office Donald Trump occupies.

The US intervention, commemorated by the 75th anniversary of the allied D-Day landings in World War Two has to rise above any party political agenda.

Hundreds of thousands of American serviceman and there families paid the ultimate price for Europe's freedom. This is not the occasion for or to launch a "carnival of resistance"

2 ( +4 / -2 )

She sure didn't show it!

Because she's a professional, unlike Donny. Tee Hee.

Or maybe - get ready, Chip Star - she enjoyed his visit. Tee hee! It's embarrassing that we sent over a proven scammer, known liar, and admitted molester to meet the Queen.

It's embarrassing that we sent over a proven scammer, known liar, and admitted molester to meet the Queen.

You just can't get over the fact that your candidate lost, Super.

Last time we sent a Nobel Peace Prize winner.

If Trump ever wins the Nobel Peace prize it will be because he earned it, unlike Obama.

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

He brings shame to our great nation; he tarnished our relationship with a Great Britain. Our national embarrassment-- He is not fit to honor the heroes of DDay.

5 ( +10 / -5 )

Trump and his family are so trashy. Nothing but a gang of sharks & swindlers.

2020 cam't come soon enough.

2 ( +8 / -6 )

It is relatively harmless to feed his ego, waiting patiently for him to go away.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

UK economy is staggering since brexit, so what better way for them is to target the US, Africa and other developing nations, which is what they have been doing, if your following economic news abroad.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

If Trump ever wins the Nobel Peace prize it will be because he earned it, unlike Obama

You should hold your breath until Donny does. HAR!

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Haven't seen any protests yet

Did you think to ask why you were flown to Buck House in a chopper instead of arriving in a parade down the Mall in the golden cinderella coach with the Queen? The horse-and-carriage ride you wanted so much?

To protect you from the average Brit, is why. The police didn't think they could keep the protests under control if you showed your nasty face in public.

You're probably relieved you weren't asked to speak to Parliament. I imagine you found reading your speech at dinner last night (without a single ad lib or uncouth aside! Well done!!) enough strain for one visit. But honoured state guests Barack, Bill and even dopey Ronnie were invited to say a few words to the assembled worthies. You weren't invited to speak, Donnie. Gotta sting, that.

And did you wonder why you don't get a sleepover in the Palace, like the Kenyan did? And like warmongering' Dubya did?

What's that? Because they happen to have the builders in? That's what they told you?

Yeah, right. What .... inopportune .... timing.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

Who really cares where he stays;he is making the US great again!

-4 ( +5 / -9 )

No, that is not the only metric....

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Wow huge protest! A whole 2 people and 2 signs and a cameraman. Sure showed that Orange dotard who is the boss!

There were a few more than two: https://www.sadanduseless.com/donald-meets-england-funny/?fbclid=IwAR39t_TCDiqD_u6Vobo3osn93vF8ccoblbYwq3hzTgvGzcW8SRyN1fKsnX0#myMJ402Wwykbc1re.01

That's Trump supporters and their inability to count for you though. They see hundreds of protestors and say "two". They see two people at the inauguration and say "billions".

2 ( +5 / -3 )

Where did they rent Trump’s evening kit, Moe Ginsberg’s Prom Emporium? Donald, the waistcoat is never - ever, ever - supposed be exposed below the front hem of the tailcoat. It’s supposed to be even with it or an inch above it. See Charles’ coat? Yours is hanging down a foot. The WH can’t even get his clothing right.

2 ( +5 / -3 )

I think that President Trumps speech was a credit to the USA.

A great President and a great Queen together.

Good to see. To the two or three people protesting - "Have'nt you got jobs to go to"?

I just realized this too, looks like a complete idiot. I know it's not his fault, but you have to think either the royal family is trolling him or the white house messed up the order!

Big London protests are planned for today.

Yeah, complete with "Trump For Prison" signs, haha, lol, what about Khan?

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Yeah, complete with "Trump For Prison" signs, haha, lol, what about Khan?

He's the mayor of a London.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Can you even name one thing about Khan that you don't like that Trump didn't tweet? I mean, without looking it up.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

I know Trump supporters don't understand how the world of employment works, but: people can take the day off work.

I think Trump supporters know very well how the world of employment works. President Trumps policies are creating thousands of jobs.

Or maybe - get ready, Chip Star - she enjoyed his visit.

Possibly. British comedy is all about vain, narcissistic grotesques with delusions of their own greatness and persecution complexes. She won't be needing to watch many sitcoms while Donald Trump is in town.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

I know Trump supporters don't understand how the world of employment works, but: people can take the day off work

Yes, they don’t get that.

There are other useless boneheads who play golf and tweet bollocks and trash when they should be working.

Slackers.

The Brits have centuries of experience putting on flattering shows of pomp and spectacle. Royal protocol requires first and foremost prudence and propriety. The staff, guests and members of the royal family were under strict orders to keep smiling while sporting a stiff upper lip, and on no account to mention the war, bone spurs, John McCain or the porn star. Sorted!

"I think Trump supporters know very well how the world of employment works. President Trumps policies are creating thousands of jobs". USA population 300 million and Trump has only help in creating a few 1000,s . That a increase of .003 % of 1 percent after 3 years in office. A very poor performance. Where China in the same time has created a 50 million plus jobs. Yes the Trump supporters really know how employment works and really good with numbers.

2 make fun of the large crowd of 2 people protesting Trump. Sad!

He and the Queen having a great time here:

There was nothing wrong with President Trump's attire. I suggest you have a look at A Guide to Men's Dress Code and you'll see the white waistcoat below the black jacket. President Trump's evening wear is the most up-to-date as you can see in the attached in the link

https://www.thetrendspotter.net/mens-dress-codes/

Liberals are resorting to triviality. Also, those who commented about Melania Trump's bare arms. You obviously don't realize that long gloves replace sleeves.

Well done, President Trump and Melania. Brits are having a field day commenting on the daily news sites on the liberal protesters who they say don't represent the UK. The only two protesters I saw interviewed looked as if they hadn't had a shower for weeks, dirty unkempt hair and one wearing a Karl Marx t-shirt. Hopefully, liberal Americans are a bit nicer than that but I wonder ...

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

2 make fun of the large crowd of 2 people protesting Trump. Sad!

But you were incorrect.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Can you not see the picture with 2 men holding a banner and a sign? Then a person who looks like a cameraman next to them? Are you claiming that’s 3 protestors? Ok fine, three.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

So your point was to poke fun at the fact the photographer took a photo of 2 protesters out of thousands of protesters?

Is that it?

The war was mentioned. Donald Trump paid tribute to all those who fought in the war from the US and UK.

Don't be sily. He should sack his tailor. The suit is a poor fit, it's far too small, and short, for a start. He looks ridiculous.

1 ( +3 / -2 )

How do I know there were more than 2 if they are not in the photo? If you have thousands seems there would be a pic of them accompanying this article.

I see three times as many people in the Trump support photo. So can I say there were 30,000 supporters there? Sure why not, using your logic.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

The large crowd I see is actually chanting “we love Trump”. Facts matter?

regardless another successful trip overseas.

Trust me, you can find pictures and videos of thousands protesting. A 10-second search should do it.

@ ex_Res

The war I was referring to was not the one that ended before Trump was born and about which, one may safely assume, he knows next to nothing, but the war in which McCain did his bit bombing and shooting up the Vietnamese while Trump dodged bullets and STDs by staying stateside on a doctor's note nursing his bone spurs.

The UK was not involved in the vietnam war, therefore the subject would not be brought up by Her Majesty, the Royal Family, other guests and staff.

Nor would any of the other issues mentioned as they do not concern Her Majesty or politics in the UK.

regardless another successful trip overseas.

I cannot see what possible justification anyone could have for thinking that. No one tried to kill him I suppose, but that's a pretty low bar for success.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

@ Ex_Res

I was just trying to inject a little humor into the occasion of Trump's pompous State visit (that most Brits find rather ghastly) by riffing on a famous Faulty Towers sketch known to millions of Brits where staff are instructed: DON'T MENTION THE WAR! Of course, WW2 is of no interest to Trump, so it is the war that Trump dodged and does not want to talk about and which earned his nemesis the dubious accolade "war hero" which I referred to, tongue in cheek, geddit?

2 ( +2 / -0 )

I was just trying to inject a little humor into the occasion of Trump's pompous State visit (that most Brits find rather ghastly).

Do most British people find State occasions ghastly?

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

I suggest you have a look at A Guide to Men's Dress Code and you'll see the white waistcoat below the black jacket.

So, I had a look. I saw the white waistcoat on the bloke with the Great Dane showing maybes a cm below the coat. All the other photos show it shorter than the coat. There was no photo of a plonker with swathes of white waistcoat hanging down around his hips, a la the Donnie look.

Massive faux pas.

Do most British people find State occasions ghastly?

Only the ones where we have to be nice to ghastly people. Like this time.

1 ( +1 / -0 )

@Ex_Res

Not necessarily; indifference or bemusement perhaps best describe how many feel, not to mention a most significant number who begrudge the squandering of their taxes on such vacuous, wasteful extravaganzas with bells and whistles. "Ghastly" more accurately describes the feelings of the vast majority of British who can discern no redeeming qualities in the person of this POTUS. Hence the pomp of the rulers keeps a safe distance from the protests of the people.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

No one tried to kill him I suppose, but that's a pretty low bar for success.

Don't forget that Trump cultists here regularly list "over 200 accomplishments!!!!" and some of them are, like, "once had a thought that wasn't racist".
