absolute presidential immunity

An utterly ludicrous claim

Remember Republicans - while you are noisier and don’t have to worry about things like shame, reputation, and good faith, we are smarter and so are usually a few steps ahead of you guys. You are definitely more predictable than we are.

An utterly ludicrous claim

Biden claims it, other previous Presidents have.

Biden claims it, other previous Presidents have.

No.

12 ( +14 / -2 )

Biden claims it,

Even if he did, which he hasn't, it wouldn't make it true.

14 ( +15 / -1 )

The lawsuits brought by Democratic lawmakers and police officers who defended the Capitol on Jan 6 seek civil damages for harm they say they suffered during the attack, which aimed to stop Congress' certification of Biden's victory.

Let's be fair and say Trump has been the bestest, bigliest President at showing the US as a kleptocratic autocracy. He should have gone off to a Nixonian sunset but the corporatocracy wants him back.

Old reference but as Yakov Smirnoff used to say "What a country!"

No president, other than Trump, has claimed absolute presidential immunity.

No president, other than Trump, has claimed absolute presidential immunity.

Or to put it another way, no president other than Trump has claimed his personal actions were afforded presidential immunity.

12 ( +12 / -0 )

Biden claims it, other previous Presidents have.

When? Other presidents, plural. Should be easy for you to provide an example or quote.

More losing from the World's Greatest Former Loser-in-Chief....

I mean, when was the last time Trump won anything in court - his divorce from Marla?

One thing is for sure, even with the quack lawyers he hires, every time he opens his yap and admits to something, he just makes their job harder...

So keep flapping your lips Donald, tell us how your hid all that classified that was under court order to be returned, brag about how you approved those Repub operatives to break into the Georgia polling office to tamper with voting machines, and tell us again how you implemented Eastman's ILLEGAL scheme to create fake state electors...

And don't forget to insult E. Jean Carroll again, she's looking forward to tossing you out and moving into Mar-A-Lago...

Is he getting "tired of winning"? Like the true tribune of the people, American patriot and incomparably better human being, Eugene V. Debs, he'll be running his presidential bid as the Republican leader from a jail cell (if justice in America still exists).

"We're gonna win so much, you may even get tired of winning. And you'll say, 'Please, please. It's too much winning. We can't take it anymore. Mr. President, it's too much.' April 12, 2016

”waaaaaaah it’s not fair”

January 2021 to April 2024

What a ludicrous whining loser Trump is.

Just beautiful..

Trump loses

This should have a permanent place on the Clipboard.

No president, other than Trump, has claimed absolute presidential immunity.

That was always the constitutional norm. But the good thing for it now is if there’s a Democrat that the Republicans don’t like, they can use the same exact tactics, so that’s good to know.

You wouldn’t understand.

No.

Yes, absolutely

And don't forget to insult E. Jean Carroll again, she's looking forward to tossing you out and moving into Mar-A-Lago...

That won’t happen, she’ll live in that hippie compound of hers forever… incense, and peppermints…

That won’t happen, she’ll live in that hippie compound of hers forever… incense, and peppermints…

She's got $88 million plus pre-trial and post-judgement interest, waiting in escrow.

She's laughing there in that hippie compound with her incense and peppermints.

No.

Yes, absolutely

You can’t quote a specific article or law about Presidential immunity because there isn’t one.

It doesn’t exist.

7 ( +7 / -0 )

Ridiculous. It's almost as if when you commit crimes, you might have to face trial.

And don't forget to insult E. Jean Carroll again, she's looking forward to tossing you out and moving into Mar-A-Lago...

That won’t happen,

Get real - she already won her first case - and since the Moron then went out and slandered her again, she can now get more than the $85 million she first was awarded...she'll get Trump Tower and Mar-A-Lago...maybe Bedminster too. Trump can be her caddie....ROFL...

she’ll live in that hippie compound of hers forever… incense, and peppermints…

Melania after the divorce...

She's laughing there in that hippie compound with her incense and peppermints.

She can laugh as crazy as she can muster, she’s not going to see the rest of that money.

Get real - she already won her first case - and since the Moron then went out and slandered her again, she can now get more than the $85 million she first was awarded...she'll get Trump Tower and Mar-A-Lago...maybe Bedminster too. Trump can be her caddie....ROFL...

More lib nonsense, guys try so, so very hard.

So yeah, this will go on for years, not months, and in the end, what’s probably gonna happen is to settle out of court and she’ll get a little something, but that’s about it.

Nixon knew that Presidential immunity for crimes that weren’t official acts wasn’t a thing. That’s why he accepted the pardon from Ford.

Overthrowing the government isn’t an official act.

E. Jean Carroll won her case against Donald J Trump. Sexual abuse. A serious blot on his history.

We know, we know, we know. That wasn’t the point! Geez…lol

We know, we know, we know.

Yes, we all know he's a sexual predator on the hook to her for roughly $100 million.

Do you have any idea how much gas was during that time?

Was it in line with the price of tea in China?

8 ( +8 / -0 )

Bass that’s just a Fox News video arguing about President immunity. Proof of nothing, nada, zilch.

Again, You can’t quote a specific article or law about Presidential immunity because there isn’t one.

9 ( +9 / -0 )

Trump losing again?

Hard to keep up.

10 ( +10 / -0 )

You mean like undermining a sitting duly elected President in 2016?

The only "duly elected President" in 2016 was Obama, so who was undermining him? Maybe the guy that said he was "illegitimate"?

If you were referring to Trump, he wasn't sworn in until Jan 20th 2017...
