No surprise here. Trump wishes he could be an authoritarian and dispose of democratic norms.
CrazyJoe
Trump responded to this brutal murder of a US resident and journalist by kowtowing to a dictator, spreading lies and sowing bigotry, demeaning the victim, and debasing American values.
America has never been so far from greatness in my lifetime.
Apparently the business of America is Trump’s business.

I don’t know what that all means, but on a serious note, what do liberals want? Trump to throw the US economy into a tailspin and completely shut it down? Even the Democrats would you even the idiot John Brennan who continuously criticizes the president has never taken action and he wouldn’t of taken action.
I think American has a long way to go for greatness, but it has certainly gotten a lot better, but sadly the oil business as a dirty business, and we all need it.

A value set that includes the US executive and his family personally profiting selling properties (allegedly at this point - GO MUELLER!) to murderous thugs (a group which includes putative 'royals' and oligarchs, all from oil and gas exporting nations) and their families, an executive and his family that have zero accountability, are consistently dishonest, have zero sense of ethics and morality.
Some value set, Pompeo.
Trump needs to release his most current tax forms to show who his family have sold properties to, and to see which big war and big oil industries he's invested in. Same with Pompeo and Bolton.

You guys try so very hard. Lol. It just won’t happen. Again, we could have the pantsuit lady as President, there is no way she would do anything different as bad as she is, she knows the importance of our relationship with the Saudis.
Oh, here we go again, not going to happen, but if Dems want to spend time chasing his tax returns and focus less on the people, then I’m all for it. Please exert as much time as you can, makes 2020 easier for the GOP.

More weak responses to strong-arm leaders. Trump has a habit of doing that.

I’m sure privately they got an ear full.
CrazyJoe
The tweet of a man with no moral compass, and who does nothing without corrupt intent.
He’s the embodiment of America’s shame.
bass4funk
So what about the other previous Presidents that allowed the Saudis to get away with anything? I guess they were America’s shame as well.
Chip Star
You guess incorrectly. The other presidents didn't constantly degrade American institutions that are fundamental to our democracy and they didn't constantly refuse to call out autocratic dictators.

Why is it, that no one is asking how Turkey was able to make a recording of something that went on within another Countries Embassy.... ?
Bugged ?
I wonder which other Countries Embassies they're listening into ? The US, British .... Chinese ?
Eppee
Everybody is listening to everybody, that's no secret and one of the main goal of an embassy.
UlsterBoy
@Eppee - Maybe the Saudi's didn't know that ?
TumbleDry
Conservatives were all on hands to decry Obama not standing over Saudi-Arabia.
Now DT is brown nosing Saudi-Arabia.
Aaaahhhh, hypocrisy...
lostrune2
At what point does being bought by Saudi money trumps doing the morally right thing over a crime so heinous and deliberate
No longer can the US argue other countries to stop doing business just because they're doing the morally wrong thing
Ex: Venezuela is abusing its own people, but Venezuela has oil, so countries can continue doing business with Venezuela despite doing the morally wrong thing........... because money
