This is now beyond ridiculous from the Street perspective. Both countries are using alternative buyers and sellers that there is clearly no impact on the ground. US gets cheap Chinese goods via 3rd party countries where it is coming in, and China is now getting its quality US product via its own channels. Japanese Korean Chinese and Euro companies have gutted the mfg sector of the US. Japanese were building their plants in the US, then buying out all the supply chains and steel mills, they had every sector cornered. Chinese soon followed. Are we allowed to do the same in their country? Never seen such a thing in Japan.
