No mention that she is also the mother of a son who's been arrested nine times; or that the Foundation she works for is a scam to funnel money and property to her and her husband. And such a "loving" man, who so clearly hates so many, especially homosexuals. She has many blinders that have to be removed before she can see clearly.

Ex-comedian senator apologized but Moore hasn't. His campaign workers are trying to discredit signatures, but not Moore. It seems that he does not understand action of pervert is not normal. His wife should put him in a hospital.

Ok, that's one side and the other side is, the son of the accuser said that he doesn't believe his step-mother and believes she is lying and the entire story is a farce, especially when Gloria Allred is involved, that's a serious red flag. When Allred was on CNN she was hard pressed by Wolf Blitzer is she could verify 100% proof that the signature in Nielson's year book isn't a forgery, she declined to answer, she also declined to expand on the idea of a public hearing instead of hiring an independent writing specialist, this is starting to really smell.

And such a "loving" man, who so clearly hates so many, especially homosexuals.

Not hate, but doesn't believe in the lifestyle and millions don't and that's their prerogative. Right or wrong, the people of Alabama hate Washington and hate how the outside media has treated them when it comes to guns and religion and many will vote for Moore just to shove a finger in the media's and Washington's eye,

She has many blinders that have to be removed before she can see clearly.

Maybe she sees very clearly, but not in the way the liberals want.

Moral relativism is what conservatives used to berate liberals for. How times have changed.

Maybe Moore wasn't banned from his local shopping mall for pestering teenage girls when he was in his thirties. Maybe he was banned from the mall to protect him from the liberal media that was looking to set him up 40 years in advance in order to prevent him from a possible future run for senate. Just sayin' . . . ; )

I think he does not realize he needs psychoanalyst's help.

Not really, at least they don't huddle around every single Republican that has been accused of sexually assaulting women. The Chickens of Franken and the 42nd president are coming home to roost and the party that was quick to run out with a noose and pitchfork are now under heavy pressure go back and look at previous transgressions of their former accusers and about time.

Look, don't get me wrong, it seems that Moore is turning out to be a wolf in sheeps clothing, there is no way to defend the guy, I understand, but sexual abuse has nothing to do with political affiliation. But the people of Alabama have a distain for Washington, don't trust them and never will and even if a lot of people think Moore is a sexual predator, they would rather have him in office rather than a Democrat or take anything Washington or the media says.

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

Moore's long-ago interest in young girls has overshadowed his history of being a loose cannon unaccountable to anything but his own whims. That terrified the GOP, which is why the backed Luther in the primary and helped raise the heat on his Lolitaism.

A Senator Moore would likely be a worse disaster for the GOP than just giving up the seat to a Dem (it'll be up for grabs again in 2020 anyway). That's why I kinda hope Moore wins.

Huh?

2 ( +3 / -1 )

But you are defending the guy. You keep bringing up the credibility of his accusers, including how Gloria Allred is a “red flag” and how the step-son of the accuser thinks the accusations are a farce.

The voters will decide. Do we need a daily article on this?

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

Weren’t you the one going on about how the media forgets about these things after a few days? Now you’re complaining that they haven’t forgotten about this one yet?

4 ( +4 / -0 )

you know that they selectively “forget” what suits them and refuse to cover some topics at all.

Franken messes up the moral outrage on this so now they have no way to meme Moore quit or refuse to accept him if he wins. So move on to the Election Day and cover something else on this site?

If you think Moore doesn't hate LGBT people, you're kidding yourselves.

bass: many will vote for Moore just to shove a finger in the media's and Washington's eye

Why not accomplish the same goal with a candidate who isn't a sexual predator? Or is the fact he's a sexual predator the thing you're sticking to the media and Washington?

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Trump Republicans insanity couldn't be better illustrated by their double standards on sexual harassment between Franken and the Mall Predator.

I've been enjoying Trevor Noah's skit on "Touched by an Evangelical" .

Heh. GOP. The party of "morals" . Headed by President P-Grabba.

The lefties insanity couldn't be better illustrated by their incessant anti-Trump postings only to make them feel better about themselves, like they're making some kind of change in the world by posting hateful comments. Too funny.

Still playing the Dem-Rep game eh? How long do you plan on playing this game?

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

It really does seem to be a double standard. It's difficult in that these seem to be 'historical' cases and times have changed. What is utterly unacceptable now unfortunately was passed over/covered up then. I'm glad that people are coming forward now - it will make it so much more difficult to perpetrate such behavior in the future. On the other hand it's hard to prove/disprove many allegations.

However, Franklin has admitted, apologized and his victim has accepted the apology and believes it is sincere. In many ways I admire that while deploring the original behavior. Moore has not and Trump only has to a certain extent by saying that he shouldn't have said his 'locker room talk'. In all honesty, I'm not American but if a politician said 'yeah, I was a total f*ckwit and treated women badly until I realized that I was wrong and proved how they have changed I would still consider voting for them.

Trump did not support Moore. But he is wise to stay away from Moore controversy.

The GOP is the insane comedy gold party. A gift that keeps giving....

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/lawmaker-wes-goodman-anti-lgbt-resigns-sex-man-office-caught-ohio-republican-christian-family-values-a8060631.html

An Ohio lawmaker who routinely touted his Christian faith and anti-LGBT views has resigned after being caught having sex with a man in his office.

Wes Goodman, who is the Republican state legislator for Ohio, is married to a woman who is assistant director of an annual anti-abortion rally known as March for Life.

The right-wing legislator, who pushed “family values”, was reportedly witnessed having sex with a man inside his office who was not employed by the legislator.

Whatever happened to chief Republican latent, Ted Haggard?

OK!

13 points for your side!

GO! Madverts! GO!

C'mon, guys - it's an interment election, only until 2020! We should all wish Moore the best. As they say, "They bought their tickets, they knew what they were getting into. I saylet 'em crash!"

So every single person who votes for Moore is now siding with child molesters? Dont think so.

Sorry, that kind of voter shaming didnt work with Trump and it wont work here.

Some people will vote for Moore simply because he is a religious man, same as them.

Some people will vote for him because they dont believe the accusations.

Some people always vote by party affiliation regardless of candidate.

Some people will vote for him because they care more about their family needs in 2018 over trying to punish a man who may have done something inappropriate in 1977.

I can guarantee that not one person in Alabama is voting for him as 'child molester'.

-5 ( +1 / -6 )

So what happens when Moore wins, by the way? Probably just liberal whining that he shouldnt have been able to run? Or more attacks on the intelligence/morality of the fine people of Alabama?

-6 ( +0 / -6 )

If he wins, he will be a Senator from Alabama.

One more woman came out yesterday.

Each state has different age to be defined as an adult.

So what happens when Moore wins, by the way?

That's what I've been sayin', Black! why do you think every Washington GOPian is panicking?! It would be a fulfillment of their "southern strategy" - and it couldn't come at a worse time! That's why I say, Go Moore!

1 ( +1 / -0 )

He WILL step down, of that there is 100% certainty.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

blacklabel: Probably just liberal whining that he shouldnt have been able to run?

The attacks are coming from your party. Your war is with McConnell and company. Even Hannity is getting in on it.

Moore winning would be a wonderful stamp on the GOP. And if he loses, we get another blue seat.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

He tails the Dem opponent by 8% now. But this or Franken is not talk today. ne billionaire testarted impeachment movement again.

0 ( +0 / -0 )

Disturbing stuff.

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-42031670

Ed Henry, a Republican state representative, suggested it's the women who accused Mr Moore who should be prosecuted, for not coming forward with their stories sooner and so allowing an accused predator to roam free. Seriously.

And Jerry Pow, the Republican chairman of Bibb County, Alabama, told a reporter he'd vote for Roy Moore even if the allegations are true, and he did commit a sex crime against a teenager.

Take a breath and let that sink in for a moment - it's 2017 and an Alabama Republican official says he'd vote for a paedophile.

Both Republicans and Democrats and the many who don't subscribe to either parties need to explore how the US has got to the awful situation its in. And where they go from here.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

It's a lose-lose situation for the GOP Senate. If Jones wins, the GOP loses a seat. If Moore wins, he taints his entire party for 2018. Take your pick, Bannonites. How y'all wanna play that bitterness game?

Drain the swamp and fill it with what?
