Trump is still denying COVID-19 threats. He said, today, the virus is going away. That is an obviously egregious statement. That's not the media, that's him....words from his own mouth.

The incubation period for the novel coronavirus is between 2 and 14 days. It then it takes another 2-3 weeks for a person to become ill enough to die. So the lag from infection to death is about 3-5 weeks, meaning that the death toll in 5 weeks is going to be much, much higher than what we're seeing now.

Bottom line. Yes, COVID-19 is highly a highly infectious virus. However, most people who are infected will recover from the infection. Only the elderly, people with pre-existing conditions, and possibly people with type A blood will die.
